Valentines Day today, a special day to let someone know

you love them.. When really if you love someone, you love

them all the time, and you don't need a special day to

remind you to tell them.... don't you agree?...

When you mention the L word, LOVE, I can honestly say

I saw 2 people that loved each other completely until the

day they died and I believe are still in love in heaven.. I'm

talking about my mom and dad... They were married in

1929, Dad died in 89 of cancer, Mom in 90, I always say

she died of a broken heart, she really committed suicide.

She hated every day she lived with out my dad..

There wasn't a day went by that they didn't hug, kiss,

give a special touch on the arm or shoulder, never a

day went by that they did not say "I love you". I know

that from the days I lived with them and when I visited

and spent time with them after I left home to start

my life. I can honestly say I only heard one as in 1

argument they had, and it ended with hugs & kisses..

My whole family was that way, when we saw each other

and when we left their company a hug and kiss were always

exchanged.. When I was little, I always kissed mom and dad

good night before going upstairs to bed.. When we had a

housefull of company I just went from one to the other

giving goodnight kisses.. :-) I took my time to delay going

to bed while we still had company !! :-)

I hope you have a great V Day, that you have someone

to give kisses and hugs to on this special day, If you

were closer I would, just to let you know you are special.

I appreciate you coming here and reading my 2 cents

and so lovingly worry about me when I get careless and

don't write every day.. Thanks and this most GORGEOUS

Dutch & Tigger- I dont know whos more jealous..

I don't know about anyone else, but is the time going

faster? I cant seem to catch up on anything cuz the

times goin too fast.. Or do you think its maybe cuz

I'm just slower? :-) I know one thing, I'm forgetting stuff.

I was in the doorway to my closet waiting for Penny to

finish hanging a top, and as I sat there I couldn't

remember why I was in there!

That's bad! And I know, I can click on my browser cuz

I thought of something I needed to do or find out.. By

the time Google opens, I forgot what I was looking for.

I remember in a few seconds, but to do that I have to

look see what I was doin to jog my memory.. I hate this.

I'm not the only one tho, my sis is the same way...I wonder

if this is just getting older? Shirley is 6 years older than

me, so she should know :-) I feel stupid though when I

do that, but I still have to laugh at my self... :-)

I woke to SNOW this morning.. about 2 to 3 inches id say..

Dinky has come home, his face is so scratched up he

worries me.. Tigger has taken over the cat house which I'm

glad to see its in use.. We think Tigger is a she.Tiglet then

I guess her name should be :-)

I'm late today, but Ive been busy...I'm still a most

GORGEOUS WEEBLE, and I'm hungry! Leftover

spaghetti today.. Hope your're having a good week

end.. Oh, the Doc gave me a nose spray, thinks I

have a bad sinus infection. and a anitbiotic after

he checks with the drug store to find out what I

reacted to so badly last year.. I'm not taking that

My boys, LittleBoy in back, and the smiling one in front of course is Dutch!!

Busy Day today, my nurse Fanesse is coming and so is the

doctor from Hospice.. Both in one day, I'm not pleased but

Fanesse says she needs to see the doctor here, when hes

with me.. So, shes the nurse I havta do what she says :-)

I had a really rough start this morning, I had one of my

attacks.. I felt so bad, its not even describable.. Both arms

hurt, my chest is ready to explode and I'm so nauseous that

I have to sit with my head over the garbage can for at least

a half hour.. I managed to get the kids fed before it started,

but I could tell it was gonna be rough...

I got the most wonderful treat possible in the mail today! A

very dear Friend, Catherine, sent me COOKIES!!! I opened

the box to find 2 kinds! what a treat... Isnt it funny how just

cookies can make you feel better.. I sure needed it after the

start I had!

I have some stuff to do before they get here, I'm still a

most GORGEOUS WEEBLE ... Keep well and God Bless...

Wonder who is teasing who, thats Graybelle outside, Dutch inside lol
My nurse, Fanesse, was sposta come by today but

we changed it to tomorrow. Shes bringing something

to help with this cold and with the scar on my left

stump... I usually can keep it under control, but this

time its just not co-operating with me, and its red

and super sore too... Ill be glad when all this is fixed

and I'm not sneezing anymore or feeling bad.

I heard that my grand daughter and great grand

daughter, Amber and Kirsten both have pneumonia.

This weather is so crazy, its making everyone sick.

It warms up everyone takes their coats off and

goes outside, that's what will make you sick.. The

flu is super bad and I sure hope I don't get it..

I got the flu and pneumonia shot last year and it

put me in hospital for those 2 months...it caused

other problems and all together it took 2 hospital

stays and the rehab for 3 weeks too.. I don't

want that again.. I'm very leary of antibiotics

that's what they gave me last year to knock out

the cold and flu.. I reacted with that awful rash

and .. well its past, I survived.. :-)

I'm hungry, which is a good sign, but I do notice

I don't eat near as much as I used to.. which is

reallly a good thing, I'm paranoid about gaining

too much weight.. then its MORE I have to DRAG

around!! So, that's not a bad thing... I'm still a

most GORGEOUS WEEBLE, Keep well & God Bless

a sewer like her mom, gramma and auntie. Runs in the

I'm running on slow speed today, this bronchitis is just

whuppin' me...:-) I coughed a lot all night, which I hadnt

been doing, I don't start to sneeze till I sit up.. The

coughing is what woke me up... Besides 2 cats walking

all over me.. Think after 10 years of them doing this

to me Id get used to it :-)

We had a big storm yesterday, and all our snow is back!

Plus it was so windy and snowing made the roads really

bad.. Rained first, then the temp dropped, then the

snow.. I was worried that Penny wouldn't make it today,

but, shes like the mail lady, she always comes to work.

She was late, and she called, the roads were really

icy so she didn't go her normal 90 miles an hour.. No..

just kidding, shes a very cautious driver...the roads

she said were very slippery.. Ive seen the plows out

this morning.. THEY go 90 mph..

I used to hate when I looked in the rear view mirror

and see a snow plow coming behind me... Specially one

with the 2 blades, they were huge! I didn't mind to

be behind one.. My cousin Ronnie, he lives in the UP,

hes up HOME ... He usta drive the snow plow in the

winter, he worked for the city.. He told me once that

some guy on his route said he plowed too far AWAY

from his mailbox and could he maybe get closer...

3 guesses what my cousin did? He plowed closer and

took out mailbox and all.. The guy didn't say it NICE,

if he had Ronnie would have plowed it right.. :-) The

people up there tried to stay on Ronnies good side,

specially in the winter... :-)

Lunch time and I'm hungry as usual.. This GORGEOUS

A New Outsider...reminds me of my burmese cat I had named Skeeter..

I'm still here, feelin crappy though .. This cold just

refuses to leave me... My nurse said its close to going

into pneumonia.. I say a cold but this is really bronchitis.

When I cough I lose all my air and then have to deep

breathe to get started again... I know I'm tired of

this runny nose and sneezing...

Fanesse didn't come, instead Heidi came. She was my

nurse before Fanesse. She is very nice. She told me

she had flown to the UK for Christmas and is planning

to go again in April.. I asked her if I could fly with her,

there and back, that way I wouldn't be travelling alone.

And with a nurse what could be better! I have so many

dear friends in the UK I would love to visit them.. Not

counting my boy is over there, Id like to see him too!

And to meet my grandson would be totally awesome...

I'm thinking about it...

Penny is here today and got us all clean. I'm not doing

a whole lot as I really do feel ickky. I'm gonna post

this, eat some soup and lay down for awhile..maybe

it will help..My friend phoned all the way from the UK

and I could hardly sit and talk to him let alone write

this.. but I did talk for a little while and I got this

writ. So, time to close.. I'm sick but still a most

~Pasty Day~ yummy

I'm late today and its Pennys fault.. She only just

left and I hadta eat the pasty she made for me.

I had NO choice!! It was so good, I only ate half

later on I will eat the other half when its cooled,

a pasty is even better then...

My mom and gramma were the best pasty makers

in the county... Gramma and my mom came over on

a boat from Cambourne in the UK... Grandpa was a

miner in the UK and he and 2 of his brothers all

decided to come to the USA to work the mines.
The wives and children came over after the men

got settled...

Grandpa and my uncles were skilled miners so they

got to work right away in the iron mines in the upper

Penninsula of Michigan as soon as they got here.. One

of the staples of the miners in the UK was pastys...

Its a individual meat pie sorta kinda... Its good.. :-)

And my gramma made THE very best... All what's in

them is meat, potatoes and onion... I put rutabaga

in, it makes them even tastier, not every time but if

I have one I will use it... There are pasty shops all

over the UP, AND, there is a place up there that

will mail them to you!! Are they good.. Its called

Pasty Central.. http://www.pasty.com/ Ive gotten

them many times... :-)

Well I need to finish my lunch. I stopped to come

and write this so y'all don't worry.. I'm still a

Well today this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is another day

older.. I'm 67 today and feel 37 .. I wish :-) I woke

to a mailbox full of birthday wishes, just made my

day... I have so many wonderful friends I am truly

blessed...
Penny brought cookies for me today, so I'm gonna

have a good weekend. :-) Weekends always go better

with cookies... Penny went to the store to make sure

I am stocked up.. We are under the gun for a huge

storm headed dead at us and will start about noon,

and sposta storm till tomorrow night. It was so bad

yesterday almost a white out at times.. Then the

temps dropped to single digits.. My furnace is steady

running and my gas bill which I just got yesterday,

they always send it on a Thursday or Friday to make

sure you know how much it is so you don't spend all

your money over the weekend...

I got the most wonderful birthday gift, just what I

wanted, the flowering tea and teapot ... My dear

friend d sent it to me... I had been wanting that ever

since I saw it on TV.. With this new teapot it will be

great with the wonderful Yorkshire tea Aud and Don

sent... I'm so blessed...

I was raised on tea. My mom came over from the UK,

Cornwall, when she was 8. She loved green tea. If we

had company she always had both, tea and coffee.

I can remember my grandpa pouring his tea into

his saucer.. then drinking it.. he said it cooled it,

but I think he just liked drinking from the saucer...

We are having chili today and Penny is making a meat

pie for the weekend. Shes such a good cook, she says

she is cuz I taught her! :-) Then I must be too! :-)

Time to eat, thanks again for the birthday wishes, It

We have a new outsider..Looks like Dinky might be a daddy~!

With all the rain yesterday our snow melted.. THEN it

got COLD, temps dropped and 3 guesses what happened?

We got MORE snow! And the kicker is, its gonna snow

till SUNDAY~!~ Lucky us.. We are on the wrong side of

Lake Michigan :-) Lake effect snow...

I was worried about Penny coming this morning, since it

rained first then snowed I KNOW those roads have to

be slippery... But my girl made it and I'm glad, again she

had to shovel her way in.. shes a good kid.. She is such a

blessing to me...

Other than that I still have this crap cold and my scar is

still all red and sore as can be. Otherwise I do feel not to

bad.. I do think this cold is better I'm not sneezing as much

and I notice my headache isnt as severe...

So, all is well, Penny just got back from the store and

I'm fixin to have some lunch, what, I have no idea but

she always finds something I like.. My pot of beans n

ham sure was good.. I ate them all.. :-)

Dinky in the snow...

My girl Penny made it! Bless her heart, she had to shovel

her way in... I called and asked Steve about the plow truck I

saw, but he didn't know anything about it, he said they plowed

out his spot and the mailboxes and left.. If it was a guy sent by

Joe, he maybe didn't know about the driveway... I dunno, at

least Penny made it...
As ive been saying, Friday is my birthday.. I got the nicest

surprise in the mail.. My dear friend Audrey, in the UK sent

me some Yorkshire Tea.!.. I had a cup as soon as I opened it.

What a lovely surprise.. And I got notice that another gift

is on the way too, a flowering tea and teapot! How great is

this! My friend d, is sending it to me.. I'm so pleased...

The scar on my left stump is acting up.. Its all red and it hurts

like its never hurt before.. I have NO idea whats wrong.. The

scar has acted up before, but there was no pain like now.. I

was laying in bed watching that sad Packers game yesterday

and Dutch walked across it.. I almost went thru the roof it

hurt so bad... All I need is for this to flare up... *sigh*

I still have this nagging cold.. I'm sneezing so hard I have to

use 2 Kleenex at a time or I blow right thru just 1.. My nose

constant dribbles. Ive had this now for at least 2 months. It

can go anytime it wants- bad thing is it don't wanna leave!

My boy is home.. Donnie spent all last week in Oregon. His

job sent him out there to help out.. Donnie is very smart when

it comes to engines.. Hes one of the best diesel mechanics in

the state. Hes been with the company for over 15 years now.

His 3 girls keep him busy with car repairs :-) I'm glad hes home.

Time for lunch, Penny is making porcupine meatballs.. Ive not

had them in ages... and I'm hungry.. so, this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE is gonna close this and get fed.. Keep well and

Well I'm late and have no good reason other than I was
playing on this machine all morning! Woke to about 6 inches
of snow.. and its not over, the lake effect snow started
this morning and that's when the snow REALLY comes
down..
Dinky was in his house, I petted him while he was eating
and he was a tad cold, but dry. He ate and then left. I
watched as Tigger came from across the street, I had
to laugh as he kept jumping up out of the snow..
out front
I heard a loud car out front and went to look and it was
a truck with a plow on it.. He plowed in front and over
by Steves car (guy next door).. I watched for a few
minutes cuz I could see someone in the truck, so I
figgered maybe they were waiting for Steve to pay them.
Well, the next second, here comes Steve out of his
place and he sees me, waves and gets into the truck,
DRIVERS side! and DROVE OFF~! hmmm.. he didn't
do my driveway, I'm snowed in here ! I could hardly
get the back door open and Steve didn't plow my
driveway?... that's not good~!

Penny did some extra cooking yesterday just in case.
Shes not coming today of course, COA phoned to
tell me, like I didn't know that already with this snow.
I don't and doubt if Penny will come tomorrow, which
means I wont see her till Monday, which is ok, we
stocked up yesterday when she went to the store. So,
I'm good.. Some good roast chicken today for me.. :-)

Which, I'm hungry and gonna fix that chicken! I'm
still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE and I do still have this
rotten cold.. I wish it would go away I'm now on box
5 of Kleenex .. Keep well and God Bless...

I had the biggest laugh yesterday and I almost had to

applaud the new outsider.. Ive not named her yet...But

shes been out at night only and hard to get a photo of

her... I did yesterday... :-)
I was looking out the door and she was out there on

the deck eating, she heard the click of my chair and

took off like a shot towards the garage. I watched

as she jumped up on that blue tarp and clawed her

way up to the top and got in the garage.!. I was just

happy, showed Carl ... I was so mad when he sealed

it up from the cats.. Goes to show you how smart

cats are... SO... my next laugh...
see her ??

Is that just cute? She found a hole and sat there

till it got dark and I couldn't see her.. I checked

first thing this morning cuz I kinda halfway worried

she was stuck... But she wasn't there... I was gonna

send the photos to my landlord but I knew then Carl

would go over there and REALLY seal it up.. I aint

saying nothing.. I was gonna go over there and reopen

a spot for the cats.. Nothing in that garage but junk

and Joes pontoon... Nothing cats can hurt... But this

smarty cat fixed old Carl!...
shes almost identical to Dutch...

Penny is sick today and shes not coming. AND we are

under the gun for some big snow.. so I may not see

her till Monday. Not good, but oh well.. I told her to

make sure she keeps me updated so I don't worry

about her.. She will...

Time for lunch and to get some stuff done that Penny

usually does, like the litter box. I cant take the trash

out cuz Penny takes it over to Joes other rentals to

a dumpster he has there.. Anyhoway, I feel pretty

good compared to the rough weekend. Just waiting

for the snow ... I'm still a most GORGEOUS
WEEBLE tho, no matter what.. Keep well and

~I Made it!!~

I'm here~!~ I had a very rough weekend, as I got

forgetful Friday and didn't take my pills.. I was so

sick when I got up, I thought my chest was gonna

explode. I was barely able to feed the cats and I

went back to bed.. This episode I had to take 2

of my nitros..they eased the pain and I fell asleep

for 3 hours.. I spent the rest of the day watching

TV with no energy to even get up..

Sunday I was feeling better but I still laid low and

did nothing.. I think I have to make SURE I take

my pills.. You would think I remember since theyre

right here in front of me on my desk! I get side

tracked easily :-)

There are 2 more new kitties.. One I thought was

Dinky but it wasn't, I bet its his kid tho! Sure

looks just like him ! And there is a new tiger and

the big black one has been here lately.. I worry

for these cats especially since that cat hater lives

across the street.. I hope I never see him do that

again...but I worry he might poison them..

Ive not had lunch yet today and I'm starved..Penny

made a meatloaf, which is one of my favorites..

Penny is an excellent cook.. but she says I taught

her.. :-)

~The Boy Is Back~

I'm late today but thought I had better post or y'all

would think I'm sick or something... I know my Bev

worries when I don't post for a few days. truth be

known, I STILL have this horrible cold.. I sneeze so

much I have a headache... How a nose could emit so

much is amazing.. Ive gone thru 3 boxes of tissues.

Not counting I don't look the best either !
My boy is home.. I have no idea where hes been but

one thing I do know is he didn't eat! This cat was

starving this morning.. he ate 2 bowls of food.. I

heard about an idea for a cat house. I have some of

those tubs, plastic ones, used for storage.. I got

them last year on sale after Christmas... So, anyway,

Penny took it home and Mike cut a hole in the side.
As soon as Penny put it outside and put the afghan in

he jumped in and loves it... Its really nice and whats

so kewl is that this summer I can use it for a table

out there.. When the cat is done with it its still able

to keep stuff in it.. Its easy to clean since the lid

comes off... I paid 5.00 for the tub, I told Penny to

buy a bunch then cut the hole and resell for 15.oo.

Id pay 15 for it... You see Dinky in it.. she took

another one home to make one for Graybelle.

Ive not had lunch and I'm not really hungry.. I

think its cuz of this cold.. My sis wanted to come

up and I told her to stay away, Kelli wants to

bring the kids up here, but as long as I have this

ugly cold, I don't think its wise.. I may look iccky

but, I'm still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE, keep well

and God bless... Our snow is melting..we got about

4 inches of snow...

~Another Year ~

Happy New Year...Ive been thinking of this new

year starting and what its going to hold for me.

I just hope what ever is in store for me, that its

Gods plan and He wont let me endure more than I

can handle... and its gonna be a good year... Its
getting a great start..8 to 10 inches of snow coming.

That first year after my amputations when I had

that horrible infection in my left scar, I said every

day, "I cant do this".. But I kept reminding myself

of Gods promise and that kept me going.. And it

healed and that was 11 years ago.. my ticker might

not be beating to its own drummer and out of tune,

but I'm still going on, theres lots I have yet to do..

So, now I'm gonna go make my very best favorite

food for this first day of the rest of my life...

Fries n gravy... My outsider Dinky is missing. Hes

not been here since Tuesday night... I'm so worried

about him.. I just pray someone has him... Ive worn

ruts in the hall carpet going up and down to check

and see if hes come home.

This is my newest calendar design.. I have a set

made for next year if you would like the rest....just write...

Do you remember where I was last year at this time?

I was in hospital... and I didn't get back home till the

end of February.. What a way to start the year....BUT

that was last year and look at me now.. I'm STILL

sitting here at this computer writing this.. now, is

THAT a good way to start off THIS new year???

I think so.. I say "THANK YOU LORD!"... Last year

was a doozy and yet I made it through but I HAVE

to add, I didn't get through this past year by my

self... If it werent for my dear loyal friends, It

would have been a lot harder.. This year is going

to be a good one...

AND, now I get to remind you every time I post

here of why THIS month starting tomorrow is

special.. Remember??? NO NO.. no going back

to look at last years post... :-) The 20th.. is our

Inauguration day, BUT..its also my birthday... !!!
So, plenty of warning and I expect TONS of

cards n gifts n all sorts of stuff :-) Nooo.. just

be my friend and love me... That's plenty....

Had a wonderful chat with my honeyboy Mark.

Hes finally getting to feel better, hes had some

health issues that had to be fixed. He is ok and

my little honeyboy, Tyler, is well... Wish they were

closer, I keep threatening to move to the UK

since I have so many dear friends there...might

be interesting way for this last leg of my life...

New year, new country...hmmmm might be fun...

You see what we woke up to this morning.. No one

told us this! I checked the wunderground weather

today and its sposta snow for 3 days! When I first

rolled into the livingroom to turn on my computer

this morning I glanced out the window and it looked

like it was foggy out... which we get that a lot.. I

rolled into the kitchen and up to the door like I

always do , to check the outsiders.. It must have

been snowing for a while! Dinky was in his house

and came out when I put his food down.. he was nice

and warm.. I was glad...
Graybelle showed up a bit later and what a picky kittie.

She was actually tip toeing thru the snow! With every

step she would look at me and cry.. She would pick up

each foot after she stepped and lick it off.. she does

NOT like snow.. Dinky don't care he can plow thru anything.

This is short as I have stuff to do, I just got a call

from Donnie and he is on his way up here to get the kids

gifts.. He has 4 wheel drive so I don't worry about him

on the roads.. Plus the plows have already gone thru here,

so I know they've done the other main roads. I got Alex

a race car set.. I'm anxious to find out how he likes it.. If

hes like his grandpa, he loves racing too.. :-)

I'm still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE and I'm holding my own

First, Merry Christmas...I hope Santa was good
to you.. Its a quiet day for me.. I'm by myself, but

I have the company of my boys.. I thought I was

giving them a Christmas treat by opening a can of

tuna fish, well no, wasn't a treat to them, they just

walked away.. So I gave it to my outsiders, Dinky

and Graybelle, that wait for me every morning...

It just doesn't seem like Christmas at all to me. I

have my tree and gifts for the kids under it, but I

guess being by yourself its really just another day,

and me, I'm grateful for every day I have.

I Know the packers play today and maybe they might

be on my TV.. I know I have to charge my chair, its

getting low.. We have no snow ,, maybe that's why It

doesn't feel like Christmas. This GORGEOUS
WEEBLE needs some lunch.. my favorite today.. Keep

I had a post all written out and I dunno but I think

I might be in the early stages of altzheimers or

something.. and I think Penny is worse than me and

shes 10 years younger~!!! I wrote the post and I

got side tracked by Penny leaving, the phone ringing

and the Xray guy calling...

My doctor ordered an Xray today.. They will come

here to me to take it.. they'll be coming from Grand

Rapids.. I'm not sure how long, maybe an hour? I

dunno.. I had to call them to find out WHEN he was

gonna be here.. any time now.. that was an hour ago...

Well .. I shoulda realize before all it would take is

writing and tada the x ray guy is out unloading the

machine.. Got to go... This GORGEOUS WEEBLE

What a day.. Ive not stopped since I got up..

Ryan got here a little after 9 and didn't leave

till 10:30. Travis called and we decided to

change his day.. Rebecca I'm not sure if she

is coming or not.. Lots of times shes said she

was coming by and I never see her...

My doctor, Dr Hyde, he came yesterday with

his nurse.. They tried to draw blood..and after

4 tries I told them to stop. It can wait.. He was

concerned about that bad episode I had and

is scheduling a EKG or something.. They will

bring the machine here. My blood pressure

wasn't too bad, 143/101 .. that bottom number

is refusing to slow down...which means my

heart is not resting between beats.. that

could be my problem... So other than that I'm

ok.. :-)

Dinky is limping and I about cried.. This cat is

so sweet and that someone could hurt him is

just not acceptable... I wish I could follow that

cat when he leaves here to see where he goes.

I made a better bed for Graybelle.. its bigger

and she loves it and hasnt left since we put it

out there...

Penny brought cookies.. She is so happy finally

having the best cookie recipe in the world.. She

had her grands come over on Saturday, they

baked cookies and the kids decorated them..

Penny said they did a good job, but everytime

they finished 1 cookie they ate 2~~ ! Penny

said she had to hide them from her guys, they

were worse than the kids for cookie eating :-)

Lunch time and I'm hungry, what I'm having

My boy Dutch...:-)

Woke to snow this morning, and its 11 now and its

not stopped.. Its not a heavy big flake snow... Dinky

was sitting in the middle of the deck and either he

melted the snow around him or he was there before

it started... He was soaked.. For some reason he wont

go into his box.. Ive changed the blanket but he just

refuses... kids...
The birds are out there just eating up a storm.. They

all were, the jays, a female cardinal, which I'm sure the

male was probly up in the tree, and the chickies, tons of

those little guys.. I like when I catch them mid air.. :-)
I feel pretty good today.. I'm still sneezing and coughing

like crazy, I don't know if its a cold or what, maybe I'm

alergic to my spoiled cats! Wouldn't that be awful.. Well

if so, id just give up the idea of this going away.. accept

it and roll on :-)

Leftover Calico Beans. I gave Penny my Christmas cookie

recipe.. She made some and brought about 12 to me.. I

hate to admit it, but I only have 2 left ... these are the

best cookies EVER~!! trust me... they rise, like bread

almost.. the thickness you put on the cookie sheet will

double.. then frosting? MMMM I'm surprised I left

2~!~ The beans are what I'm having for lunch.. I tend

to wander :-)

Food and I'm going to make some calendars.. I'm still

gloomy day

I am so sad its raining but I feel pretty good and I'm

gonna take advantage, who knows what tomorrow will

bring, so I have to do stuff when I can.. I have gifts

to wrap for the grands and great grands... I didn't get

a lot but things I thought were needed.. I got the

little grands talking books.. and the big grands I got

them some special travel glasses..that you drink out

of...They all carry drinks with them so this will be

handy for them.. QVC... where I did my shopping...

Its a great channel and I have to say anything and

everything Ive ever ordered from them has been

of the highest quality.. They make you feel good

about buying, once you do, they know you and all

you have to do is tell them what you want and the

next words are" It will be shipped tomorrow"..

Easy Peasy...

Penny made me the best meatloaf yesterday and

I mean GOOD! I ate half of it.. It wasn't that big

but.. I made 2 sandwiches.. not on bread, in a bun,

then I warmed it.. MMM...then of course I offered

a taste to Dutch, cuz he was right there watching

me..he smelled it.. sniffed and walked away.. So..

fooey on him. I gave some to Dinky.. that boy hunkered

down and cleaned out the bowl!!!.. Now, my old man,

LB, he was laying there on the floor watching too, I

offered him a bite, he didn't even get up, just rolled

over, his back to me as if to say, "how dare you wake

me up"...

Penny saw LittleBoy laying on the couch yesterday and

went up to pet him.. he usually likes when she rubs his

belly... she reached out to touch him, while talking to

him.. and apparently he didn't like what she said or her

hands were cold.. he slapped at her and was showing his

teeth.. he was MAD!.. Penny backed up... LB is a total brat

when hes mad.. I told her, DONT wake him up by touching

him...call his name first.. cats are worse than kids...

Ok, time to get something done today.. Donnie is coming to

get the stuff but I don't know what day, so I have to have

this stuff ready.. Kirsten, shes 5, if her gifts arent wrapped

she gets mad.. she loves to tear them open..I put 2 sheets

of paper and tape it really good so she will have big fun

opening her books .. Came with a Dora doll.. she will love it..

Carls house in back

The joys of a small town. Its great.. I was

so sick Sunday night and I had forced my

self to go into the kitchen to get something

to drink.. I went back to bed, as soon as I

got in my spot, I looked back towards the

hall and I saw that I had forgotten to turn

off the light.. RATZZZ... Well I was NOT

in any mood to drag my butt back into my

chair just to go out and turn the light off.

I can sleep lights on, off or whatever.. I

left it on, turned over and went to sleep..

Yesterday morning at 7:10, I looked at the

time. My phone rang, no one calls me at that

time of the day... I said hello, it was Joe, my

landlord.. He says "Lois, are you ok? Your

neighbor saw your light on all night"... I told

him why it was on and thanked him for being

concerned. He said, "Joys of a small town, we

watch out for each other".

I felt so good after that.. Ill be honest.. When

I'm really sick, its scarey to be alone. Anyone

that could help me, even Penny is 30 minutes

away. The neighbor, of course, was Joyce and

Carl, the yard people , their house is in most of

my photos :-) I can see their light on in the

kitchen I guess, Ive never been there, but I

notice if there is something different, and my

light being on, which it very seldom is, was a

difference for them and they called Joe.. I

feel better being by myself now, I know if I

leave that light on , they will come.. :-)

I feel pretty good today and all I can say to that

is "Thank you Lord". I'm gonna go and work on a

new idea for a calendar.. I'm still a GORGEOUS

~BAD Start~

I woke up at 5:30 this morning having one of the

worst attacks ive had. I was in such pain in my

chest, and the nausea was awful.. I broke out in

a sweat, and just kept trying to find a comfortable

position. I was praying so hard, that this wasn't IT.

I hurt and felt that bad..

about 8:30 I got up and fed the kids, opened my

computer,looked at my mail and went back to bed.

I felt horrible.. besides this cold isnt helping. I

took one of my nitros and decided I was going

back to bed . I did and got up at 11:30.. Not a

good start to my day... The doctor told me these

are heart attacks and as my heart continues to

block they will get worse.. made me feel great...

So, I decided to come here to post so you knew

I'm still here, thank God, I sure had my doubts

this morning.. Now, I'm gonna go back to bed

and wait for the Packer game.. I'm still a most

GORGEOUS WEEBLE, keep well, keep me in

I will apologize first off for this short post.

I started feeling bad yesterday afternoon.

As the time has gone by I feel worse.. I think

I have a horrible cold.. I'm sneezing and my

nose is running faster than me... Ive sneezed

so much my nose is redder than Rudolphs.. :-)
It came with lights and decorations on it..

My nurse came this morning, and I told her I

wasn't feeling well.. On top of this cold my BP

is extremely high.. 173/103.. not good.. She is

calling again later to check on me.. I think its

just a lot of stress.. worrying about Christmas

and the run-in I had with Rebecca.. She wanted

me to sign a bunch of release papers for Keystone,

which, if you know me I'm a VERY private person.

And I refused to sign them. Keystone has NO need

for those kind of papers from my doctor etc.. I

wont sign. So we went round and round and I got

upset about it, finally she left. But I think all this

is making my pressure go up, plus this cold..
Dutch has to be in the picture ~

I'm closing this post and I'm going back to bed,

I have a horrible headache. I did put my tree up

and of course I found it on the floor this morning

when I got up.. 3 guesses why it was on the floor.

I have no plans for today and after the busy

day yesterday I'm ready for a nothin tododay.

Ive been on a Christmas kick, and I want to

decorate here, but then I think about taking

it all down again, I get tired just thinking about

it :-) Even though honestly, I wouldn't have to

really do a lot if Id let Penny do it :-) Id like

to put a garland on the deck.. I'm so pleased

with it.. I told Penny yesterday that she can

take the pumpkins.. she forgot and walked

so close to them they coulda slapped her...

She will take them tomorrow...
Ive been making calendars for my friends.. I

use one of their photos like I do for my new

one up top.. I didn't have another one that I

had something Christmasy on.. like red.. I know

I could take one :-) I will ask Penny , maybe I

can get one with the boys.. I have the hardest

time to get a photo of LB and Dutch by each

other when they arent fighting.. They have had

a fight every day now for a week!.. I got that

one just by chance... If you want me to make a

Rebecca was here yesterday, tomorrow Travis

and Penny will be here... I'm glad I have today

to catch up on stuff... I might put up my tree,

lights that are on timers now... that would work...

I have to see what I can find...be nice to have

lights outside like I used to.. I almost would

OVER decorate years ago... when I got in the

Christmas mood, I was off and running... :-)

Time for lunch and to find my tree...I will take

a photo when I'm done putting it up... I'm going

to put it on the table here by my desk , in front

of the window, I will find out after its up if its

a good place.. might not be cuz the kids like to

This weather- now its RAINING!.. and cold!.. I

had to change the blanket in Dinkys box it was

soaked.. I have thought and thought of what to

do for this cat and I just have no ideas.. I feel

so sorry for him and wish I could find someone

that would love him as much as I do.. This poor

animal deserves more than what hes been dealt.

Same with Graybelle.. she was here for breakfast,

but left, cuz her blanket is all wet I'm sure, and

I just don't want to go out there in the rain and

change it.. I wish I knew who let these cats loose

like this, I hope the same thing happens to them.

I worry for these kitties, they deserve better..
Woody is back...

I cant write much cuz I forgot to charge my chair

last night and with this crap weather theres no

telling if the power goes out.. I didn't mind the

power out when I lived in 3 Rivers.. I was a block

away from the hospital and that was the first place

to get power back, and so that included me ! When

the weather is bad I like to keep my chair on full

charge. just being safe...
I havent had my favorite fries n gravy for a long time

and I think that's what I'm gonna make.. Penny cut the

potatoes up for me so all I gotta do is turn on my deep

fryer.. If that thing ever stops working I would be so

very upset, Its a nice one with a lid, so no splashes

anywhere.

I hope your day is nicer than here and that your having

a good weekend.. I havent checked the schedule yet but

I think my team is playing today.. so, if true, you KNOW

Yesterday was a rough day.. I had one of my

spells as I call them, which they are mini heart

attacks according to my doctor. Was a really bad

start and by the time Fanesse, my nurse, got here,

I had a raging headache. My blood pressure was

extremely high, 160/101.. That's explosive. I just

have to avoid stress but in these days and times

its next to impossible..

Its Christmas, so naturally I'm worried about a

gift for my grands and great grands.. Besides

not being able to afford much, I just have NO

idea what to get anyone.. Alex is 4, Kirsten 6,

Andrea is 1.. Id like to send something to Tyler

in the UK, but to mail a package, it has to be

in the mail very soon but the cost to send over

there is outrageous.. Danny in PA, Id like to

send something to him as well.. but I'm not

sure if it would be accepted.

We've had sun the last 2 days so the snow is

melting. Poor Penny when she got here yesterday

she had to shovel the end of the driveway to be

able to get in, then had to shovel from the driveway

to the house, THEN from the front door to the

mailbox.. This isnt her job and I feel bad when I see

her out there working so hard.. My landlord is sposta

take care of that, but, he didn't.

Whomever bought the ramp guys house built a snow

man out front.. I wish he'd come over here and make

one in my yard.. I love snowmen.. First thing I did with

the first big snow, was make a snowman... :-)

Penny is making a nice hamburger for me today with

sauteed onions and ketchup.. I can smell it and it sure

smells good.. She made a pot of chili for me too, for

tomorrow or Sunday, probly both, its a big pot! Any

howway, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry, so I am

SNOW....

Well, we have about 10 inches of snow outside. I

called Donnie and Kelli to make sure they were ok.

Bad roads but they both made it to work. Penny

called and of course shes not coming. Shes not

only snowed in, but she has no electricity.. which

means no heat. I told her not to worry about

coming here today, I'm fine and snowed in. I sent

a email to Joe, my landlord and asked him if the

plow guy was coming... Right now with the sun I can

see the snow melting. Its falling off the tree

branches and drips from the roof...

I did learn a good lesson last night though.. I was

in watching TV went out to the kitchen to get a

soda and the power went out.. I was in total black

ness.. I just sat there! I know where everything is,

but I'm not a good driver in this chair when theres

light, and dark? Well after I ran into the fridge,

I decided it probly was best to just sit.. I have

thusly learned to carry a flashlight in my bag. I

have my cell phone and nitro in that, it hangs on the

push handle of my chair....
see the kittie head and ear? Next to the big post..

SO.. after sitting there for awhile in the dark, I

was at a loss to think of a light and a way to get to

my bedroom where I keep my flashlights. My mom

kept one in every room and now I know why..So,

Guess what I did? :-)

My laptop was on the kitchen table, and I KNOW

where the table was cuz I'd run into it! .. My laptop

is also battery operated.. :-) I turned that puppy
on and lit up the whole kitchen.. I carefully put

it on my left arm rest and proceeded to go into

the bedroom and get 1 of the 3 flashlights I keep

in there... :-) Don't say it, Ive already said it to

myself a dozen times, "why do I keep all 3 in one

room?" The answer is cuz I'm not perfect :-)

SO.. NOW I have a flashlight in EVERY ROOM,

bathroom , kitchen, everywhere, plus as a backup

I have one in my bag.. This whole amputee thing is

a daily learning experience .. I KNOW!! Thankfully

by the time I got my flashlights distributed the

power came back on.. it flashed off and on 3 more

times, but didn't stay off, I think it knew I was

prepared THIS time :-)

Dinky left when the snow started and hasnt been

back YET.. I looked for him and when I was putting

his food out I looked by the cathouse.. I saw a

black head and an ear.. I panicked and came so close

to just going out the door, snow and all and plow it

if I had to, to help the cat! I finally got my camera

out, hey, I'm gonna think of a way to solve a problem,

let me tell ya.. :-) I zoomed in and looked.. It was a

flower pot by the side of the cathouse.. I was SO

relieved...that would be all I need to have a dead cat

outside.. I don't think I could handle that...

Ok, I'm gonna post this and try to make some kind

of arrangements to get plowed...Joe seems to not

be in a hurry and I watched Carl with his snow

blower and it broke down , he had to go home and

get his truck and tow it home.... what a day.. I hope

it gets better!!! Suns out it will :-) Color this

GORGEOUS WEEBLE gone for today, Keep well

~Mailbox Snowman~

Penny is here today and is getting us all clean.

We did good and werent too messy. She put

my snowman out on the mailbox and I watched

the mail lady when she saw it.. She smiled and

that's good when something makes you smile.

She thought he was really cute... I think so too!

I don't know what I'm gonna do about Dinky.

He is getting so bad. He went after Graybelle

twice this morning and just slapped the daylights

out of her.. Shes afraid to come up on the deck

now.. I held her for a while this morning and she

is so skinny. I worry for her. Dinky I'm glad I

fattened him up.. he was so skinny but not any
more, I think hes close to the same size as LB

and LB is a BIG cat. Penny and I laff at how

mean Dinky is, and its cute, but I don't think

I will ever be able to let him in. I have GOT

to come up with an idea for a better shelter

for him...

My left scar is giving me fits.. That scar has

been a bother since day 1.. I honestly think the

doctors botched the job.. My right stump and

scar give me no problems at all.. but the left,

well I think they could have done a better job.

I'm using my same technique I used when I had

that awful infection, just keeping it dry and clean.

I hope it works,, all Id need is for that to get worse.

My sis is home and doing good.. I talked to her

yesterday...My granddaughter is having some really

hard times dealing with the loss of this baby. She

needs time, when Amber gets too upset she goes

and hugs Kirsten, her 6 yr old.. Death is so hard on

a child, they don't understand that death is for

ever, she expects them to bring "BooBoo" back

home and steady asks her mom and Donnie her

grandpa. Donnie says he looks in to her big blue

eyes all sad and he just picks her up and holds

her tight. when she asks. "Papaw, go bring Boo

back home"... heartbreaking....

Well I need to go and check on the outsiders.

I held Graybelle and now my 2 insiders are in

a snit, cuz I did! Jealous kids ill tell ya :-)

Scratched and dirty faced Dinky..

Almost had a fight on my hands this morning. I had

opened the door to check on Dinky.. He was out

prowling last night. The boy has been in a fight! He

has marks on his face ... I had the door open and of

course nosey Dutch has to be in on everything I do..
Dutch almost got outside, till he spotted Dinky. I

heard Dinky growl and you see the look on his face,

he is not liking Dutch very much, probly cuz hes all

dry and poor Dinky is out in the rain and cold... I

HAVE to think of something to protect these cats.

Poor Graybelle wasn't in her house, but she still

came by to eat, she was soaking wet...these cats

drive me nuts worrying....

It has rained all weekend and I sure can tell.. My

left invisible foot is killing me.. Feels like someone

is stabbing me in my heel and big toe.. amazing still

yet that I can feel my long gone feet. My right once

in a great while, but its mostly my left that gets

those killer stabs of pain... and this ickky weather

sure doesn't help....

I have no plans other than to play on this computer..

as usual.. I have no idea what to fix for lunch.. I'm

not really hungry...But you know this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE has to eat, I cant take my meds if I don't.

Turkey day a long time ago was a great day. Full of

watching the parades and eating some of the best

food ever. A great day... That photo you see me on

the left of my dad.. That was my seat at every dinner.

My sister was in college then. I'm not sure how old

I was Id say probly 13 or 14. My grandma(dads mom)

is next to me and her helper, Mrs. Fansher, is next..

To the right of my dad of course is my mom.
Next to her is my Aunt Dorothy, wife of my

dads brother Lawrence.. Hes probly the one that

took the photo!.. Next to her is my dads sister,

my Aunt Helen. She was secretary for one of the

presidents at one time, worked in DC. Whats sad

is that every person in that photo except for me

is gone.. Nice to have photos to jog your memory.

My team plays in half an hour.. Of course the

Packers... Theyre gonna win, trust me :-) I'm
gonna watch the game and have a piece of the

pumpkin pie that my nurse Fanesse brought for

me yesterday..

Id write more but I got to get set up to watch

~Things Go Bad~

Well it seems when one thing goes bad everything

else falls apart too. My computer speakers are

shot, but they are 11 years old, my TV, is 12 and

its on its last legs. The phone in my bedroom has
quit working. But that's not the worst of it...

My sister called me Saturday, she had just gotten

out of hosptial. Been in since Sunday... Saturday

about 3 am in the morning they rushed her back

to hospital they think she had a heart attack. She

was in last week for colitis . Please put her on your

prayer list, needless to say we are very worried.

Shirley is my best friend besides being my sister.

Shes stuck by me through all my amputations, she

has been by my side...

Penny is here and got us all clean, we werent too

messy over the weekend... Shes frying some potatoes,

sliced with onion and kolbassi slices.. Very good.

I'm running late today and its cuz ive been

playing on this computer making my calendars.

They are quite popular and I'm really glad cuz

I love making them. I joined a yahoo group and

send the stationery I make for incredimail. If

you just have a plain email account like gmail,

incredimail is wonderful.. You don't know how

good a email can be till you use this..

Its free and very easy to use. Its not a email provider

itself you need a pop3 like gmail to use it.. I have 4

email accounts and they all come to incredimail so I

don't have to go from one to the other to check mail.

Plus the biggie is the music. It has a style box that

you can keep graphics and the stationery but most

of all music... which I love. If you don't have it and

you get a mail from me you wont hear the song I'm

sending :-) .... its free, try it... :-)

Anyhoway, my friend Aud sent me a dog. Yup.. He is on

my desktop.. Chudleigh. It is so cute... He wanders around

down there and runs, brings his dish, all sorts of stuff.. He

sleeps then wanders off...Its a black lab with a red collar.

Hes just the cutest thing... I'm really enjoying him.. now I

have a dog!

My insiders and outsiders are ok..Dutch has been super

lovey and sticking to me like glue. Ive almost run over

him a dozen times.. When I go down the hall he has the

very bad habit of SLOWLY walking in front of me.. Drives

me nuts, cuz hes deliberately walking slow... and I have

to drag behind him.. He absolutely refuses to believe

the fact that I am old enough to go to the potty all by

my self.. He sits on the back of the potty and watches.

What a perverted cat.. At least LB has the courtesy

to sit on the sink and watch :-)

No plans for today but I need to charge my chair. I

know the Packers are playing but I don't know if it

will be on any of my channels.. I hope so.. Ill charge

my chair while I'm watching the game. In the mean

time this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is in need of food.

Beautiful day today. Sunny, but not real warm.

Ive been trying to think of some way to make

a warm spot for the outsiders. With Carl closing
up the garage so the cats cant get in there, what

are they gonna do now, where will they go. I wish
they would go in the dog house. I'm wondering

what if I put that up on the deck, maybe then
they will use it again...
Graybelle loved that house and so did Dinky. As

bad an attitude that he has its probly him that
got mad and now wont let anyone in there. I
watch him out on the deck when one of the other

cats comes to eat.. He doesn't let them get past

the ramp, then he runs them off by chasing them
away but following them to make sure theyre gone!

Hes got such an attitude, but so loving to people..

Kids, just never can figure them out.. These cats
will drive me nuts.. ok ok.. nuttieRRRR :-)
new bird....

My nurse was due to come today but Fanesse called
and shes sick. Postponed till tomorrow.. I told her
if she still has the slightest tad of anything to stay
away from me.. When I get the flu or cold or anything
I get it a dozen times worse than the average person.
My sister is the same way, so we have to take precautions.

So, I have no plans for today other than to do what I
do everyday, eat and play on this computer.. I joined a

great group for jigsaw puzzles.. I LOVE doing them. It
gives me something to do besides bugging everyone on
my email list with stuff... I send good things tho, I'm

very picky what I will forward on to others.. What I
don't like I just hit that red X which is such a handy

thing..

Anyhoway, I'm gonna go do nuthin, just sit around and

be my GORGEOUS WEEBLE self.. y'all have a good day,

~Packers Are The Best~

How 'bout them Packers hey? That team has not
lost a game this season... I hope they go to the
super bowl again..The sports people all said that
the Packers will not be as good a team when that
Farve left.. they got better once they got rid of
him! Ive been a Packer fan always. I remember
my dad watching the games.. Most everyone in
the Upper Penninsula and Wisconsin are fans.

I lived in Green Bay for over 3 years and I did
love it there. I had a great job with EDS and
David had a good job too. Its one of the nicest
towns I have ever lived in. I never saw a run
down car or a trashy area, its one of the easiest
towns to navigate as well..and LOTS of stuff to
do, specially if your're an outside person...

Green Bay is on Lake Michigan and the Fox river
runs right thru it. Some great things to do there.
On home game days for the Packers the whole town
caters to the game.. most of the main streets they
turn into one way to make the traffic flow better. I
made the mistake of leaving a friends house just as
a game ended... took me over an hour to go 3 blocks.
I never went to a Packer game, its too hectic, but we
lived so close we could walk to the stadium,, many times
we were asked to rent out our spare bedroom to people
coming for the game.. The town loves the team...

Travis came today.. hes such a nice guy... he usually stays
about 2 hours .. all we do is talk... he will be back on the
7th, my nurse comes Thursday .. Penny might bring one of
her other babies tomorrow, the white one.. I hope so...

I'm kinda hungry and I have NO idea what I'm going
to have...I will have to make something as there are
no leftovers.. so..this GORGEOUS WEEBLE will have
to go and search for food :-) keep well and God bless...

Rough getting started this morning. These mini

attacks are getting to be major. I hadnt even

done anything and got so sick so fast, I just

had to sit for a few minutes till it passed, which

its taking longer for them to ease up... I worry
for when one of these mornings this spell doesn't
ease ...

I think I have allergies, I am sneezing just awful.

I bet I go thru 2 boxes of Kleenex a week.. Once

I start to sneeze it goes into coughing. Ive never
had allergies before, but I do now, unless its a

lingering cold.. I dunno but I bet my nose is as
red as rudolphs :-)

I'm steady making calendars and am so pleased
at how well liked they are. I enjoy it.. I have them
made all the way ahead to January. :-) The one up
top of me will only be on this post till tonite when
I log off.. Its such a shame that it has to be like

that because of photo theives.. but that's how it

has to be... if you want one made just send me a

email and attach the photo or whatever you want
on it...

Fried potatoes with kolbasa today with onions. I

don't have any cabbage or Penny would add that

to it.. fried cabbage is so good... After the rough
start this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is feeling ok..

Its begun... we have that 4 letter word..SNOW.

Started yesterday afternoon and was quite

heavy at times. When I finally shut down I
checked the kids outside, Dinky is in his new

house, well box. He wouldn't go in it at first,

but I guess he tried it and liked it. I'm trying

to think of something to protect them when
its really bad.. What I worry most about is the

cold, and it goes below zero, which it will.. I

don't know how I'm going to keep Dinky warm.
Ive debated and thought and worried so much

about that cat.. Hes so beautiful and very lovey.

But hes not neutered..and even if he was I'm

afraid he wont get along with LB and Dutch.. He

went after Graybelle this morning, which he

usually tolerates her. He actually attacked and

surprised me ! Bad thing was I could do nothing,

and Penny wasn't here yet. Shes ok but is

afraid to come on the deck now.. I just think

Dinky is a brat.. I wish I could find him a good

home.
I'm not writing a lot today as I'm helping to

clean up my closet and that's a major job...
So hi ho, hi ho, its off to work this GORGEOUS

What a glorious fun happy morning yesterday.

Penny brought one of her precious babies to
spend the morning with me.. What a treat to

have that kittie here. She is the sweetest little
thing and loves to be held and LOVES to play.
We named her Wendy. She just looks like one..:-)
I called her that all morning and she answered,

well came to me...:-)
I was holding her and made the mistake of showing
her to LB and Dutch.. LB was so MAD~!! He growled

and hissed and acted like he was gonna attack. He

even gave me cause for concern. Dutch hissed and

spit at her and when I scolded him for being so
mean he looked so guilty, put his head down even. I
had to laugh...
I downloaded my camera and I had taken 81 photos..

I am so bad! I did delete some of them.. But I enjoyed

that baby kittie and I wanted to keep her so bad.. Shes

long haired kinda but has the cutest curled tail ! The

boys tails arent like that .. When Wendy walks her

little tail taps her on her back and as little as she
is, she chases her tail.. she, well Wendy could be a
Wendell :-) was such a treat for me.. But with the

same reaction from my boys, I cant have her.. I may

just get Dinky fixed and let him in, LB and Dutch will

have met their match with Dinky, he doesn't like other

cats unless he wants to.. but I know id be doing nothing

but breaking up cat fights... :-)
I'm waiting for Fanesse, my nurse. With all this stuff

going on my BP is not controlling at all. I'm trying to

count to 10 before she gets here and takes my BP.. ;-)
We are sposta get that 4 letter word today SNOW.

What the TV weather says, but Michigan weather? Best

forcast is just looking out the window.. This very most

I'm so glad its Tuesday and the funeral is over.
I talked to Donnie, his words, "Gran, ive never
cried so much in all my life when I saw that baby
in that casket, his little bonnet on, he looked
asleep." There were tons of people at the visitation
and the funeral procession to the cemetery was
huge.

Elijah was buried in a small cemetery in Union. It
was all set up when they got there. However Donnie
and the other grandpa and Elijahs daddy buried him.
They all filled the grave with the dirt. The coffin
wasn't even put into a vault. when Donnie
said how sad it was to see the daddy and grandpas
carrying this precious baby to his grave, I could
just see it and about cried. I'm glad its over,
time stops for nothing.

Ive not done too much of anything, and this week
is gonna be a nice quiet one.. I cant wait for tomorrow
when Penny comes.. shes bringing one of her babies
to spend the time with me while shes here. Penny
has to give some of these babies away which she hates
to do.. but 9 kittie babies, just too much.. There is a
shelter in Coldwater that will take them, but you have
to pay so much per cat. But they don't put them to sleep.
Penny has all her female cats spaded now...thank goodness.

All my kids are doing good. I was so worried about Fuzz.
Hes not been here for ages, but turned up this morning.
Poor guy, he was filthy.. Since Carl boarded up the garage
the cats cant get in it now, so I worry what will they do
this winter? I cant buy a garage for them :-) if I could
I would!

I have left over roast chicken and baked corn.. So
very good.. and that's what this GORGEOUS WEEBLE
is having for lunch.. I'm hungry, keep well and

~Leaves everywhere~

I just talked to Donnie and bless his heart he

is so devastated by all this. But what could be
worse than to lose a precious grandbaby. The
visitation is tomorrow and Elijahs funeral is

on Monday. Amber still has not returned home,

shes at her sisters. The obituary is in the

Sturgis Journal. Sad times, our hearts are
very heavy. Donnie is at home and plans to
spend the day in bed. His house is so quiet

now with everyone gone.
There is really nothing I can do to help.. I
did tell Donnie that he can come here for a
few days, just to get away, but I think he

plans to go home to Racine and spend some

time with his folks.. His mom is not doing
very good. She is on chemo. The cancer has

come back. Please put Barb in your prayers.
I watched Carl yesterday, he was using the
leaf blower to pile up the leaves by the edge
of the road, then the leaf vacuum upper will
come by and get them. It got really windy and
all his efforts were in vain, specially since there

are still a ton of leaves on the tree. You can

see all the leaves are back and all the ones still

on the tree... :-)
I have no plans today and I have no idea what I
will eat. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE just doesn't
have much of an appetite. I'm sure you can
understand why... Hope you have a good weekend,

Today is a sad day for me. I just found out that
my greatgrandson Elijah, he was only 4 months old,
passed away yesterday.. He never woke up from a
nap. Bless his heart.. Donnie is very upset and Amber,
mom, is devastated. we all are.

I wont be writing much today my heart is not in it.
I know you understand. To lose any member of your
family is heartbreaking but when its an infant, its
even worse. Elijah is in a better place...

Pennys granddaughter

Penny is here today and got us all clean. We
are having meat loaf for lunch. Penny is a
very good cook. And we are having lemon bars
for desert. I love lemon anything. My dads
favorite desert was lemon pie, of course my
mom made the best in the state. :-)

Penny brought photos of her grands getting
ready for Halloween. Kelli sent photos of
my grands as well.. I remember the fun I had
when I trick or treated...No kids have ever
come by here, but in a way I'm glad as I would

love to see all the kids in their costumes...

Ive not done one thing yesterday and since the
Packers arent playing I don't plan to do too much
today either. Tomorrow my visiting doctor is
coming. They couldn't give me a set time which I
hate when they do that, I guess theyre a doctor
short or something. I will know more tomorrow
they will phone first.

I am so glad we were spared that snow storm!
Lots without power, its awful.. Ive been hearing
that whoever does the predicting says we are
gonna have a bad winter...ill just sit it out like
I do every year :-)

Ive been making my calendars they are very
well liked. Ive gotten some requests to make
special ones like I do for myself..

really hungry. I have some leftover goulash and
I may have that. Boring with no football game on.

~Not Much News~

Ive not written in a few days and no excuse as

to why not, other than ive not had a lot to write

about. My life is so NOT exciting that I got
nuthin to tell about :-)
The leaves are steady coming down and poor
Carl and Joyce have their work cut out for
them with all the leaves. Its been windy and
lucky me all my leaves blew into the neighbor
across the street! Carl should just wait till they
are all down. Theyre gonna be busy for days.
Its a busy week this week, Travis was here
yesterday and today Ryan, tomorrow Rebecca
and Friday, Fanesse(nurse).. By the time this
week is done I will be ready for a nice quiet
weekend.

Penny has been busy, we are trying to figure
out what to do about Dinky. He and Graybelle
stay here all the time now. She has that crate
thing and just loves it, specially when the
blanket is just washed and smells good. Dinkys
spot is next to the door, but I guess that's where
a guard should be. He keeps an eye out and WILL
attack.

Lunch time and of course this GORGEOUS WEEBLE

is hungry. I don't know what Penny made I told her
to surprise me.. Watch, shes gonna come in and tell
me she didn't make nuthin! THATS the surprise! :-)

Penny brought a pumpkin for out on the
deck. I took a photo of it when Dinky
was sitting there by it and made a calendar.
These calendars are for email and you can
put them as a desktop too. I have fun making
them specially when I have a great photo..
Penny fed the birds as usual and I noticed
when I was taking a photo of the deck that
the birds were flying in bunches back and
forth. I got a few great photos.
I sent an email to a friend to see if she can
help with Dinky. I love that cat and he wants
to come in so badly but he cant till hes neutered.
I wouldn't want to have it done and him be out
side and as bad an attitude that he has he would
be in a bad mood with the surgery and he and
my boys, I know, would fight.
Fuzz tried to sneak and eat yesterday while Penny
was outside keeping Dinky occupied following her
around. Well he spotted Fuzz came running up onto
the deck and slapped Fuzz so hard he fell over. I
cant have that kind of attitude in here. Dinky is
such a lovey boy,, to people.. other cats, hes not
good, he doesn't play well with others :-)

Beautiful day and I am enjoying it. I may sit out on
the deck once it really warms up.. I covered a box
and put a blanket in it for Dinky since he stays here
all the time. Well Graybelle has taken it over so I
will have to find something else for Dinky...

Lunch time and naturally I'm hungry... This most

My deck is officially finished. I'm really glad.
Its wonderful out there. Now its finally finished
and I wont have that much time to go out there.
As cold as it is I'm NOT going out there. Its
so hard and just breaks my heart to see Dinky
and Graybelle and the others out there in this
cold damp and rainy weather.
I am gonna have a super good week as I don't have
that first appointment with anyone! My nurse is off
this week and so the only person I have to see is
Penny. I am gonna enjoy this. I like when I have no
one scheduled to come here. I have a lot of people
that come by and I am grateful they do, but I still
am gonna enjoy this week, its like my vacation..
Penny had to turn the heat on when she got here to
day. It was so cold in here yesterday I turned the
oven on for about an hour. So.. first thing she did
was turn the heat on, I'm not happy about knowing
my gas bill is gonna go sky high..But I cant handle
the cold any more than I can the heat. Feels good
in here now... :-)
I was so surprised to see all the birds back. The
woodpecker was here even.. Ive not seen him in
a super long time. He was having a treat with that
corn. Oh, I did find out that bait piles for deer
are illegal.. Penny told me. She sees a lot of them
specially now since they cut the corn fields.

Spaghetti for lunch and of course this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE is hungry.. stay warm, keep well and

Penny is here today and we are trying to
decide what to cook. She has to plan a
menu for her house every day for the
5 guys she feeds and then for me; she
runs out of ideas. The price of groceries
is killing me. I get food stamps and I
used to last the month. Not any more. I
run out of them, then I have to pay cash,
which goes into my extras that I have to
pay cash for, like cleaning stuff. Then when
I need money for extra extras like ink for
my printer, I don't have it.

Its so cold in here today and its cold outside!
But I think its colder in here. I am just going
to have to break down and turn on the heat.
Dutch snuggled right up next to me all night
on my right side and LB was on the left, they
were cold, I had the woolby. :-)

This GORGEOUS WEEBLE, is closing as I
have to help make the list. My stamps come
in on the 16th, so time to restock. Hope you

The doctor with southern care came by
yesterday, hes really nice. He is worried
about these "spells" ive been having, and
he agrees they are small heart attacks. He
increased the dosage on one of my pills in
hopes it will help. My BP is still high even
though I am taking my pills so he says this
med increase should help that too.

It is cold today and so windy that at times it
looks like a whirlwind of leaves all over flying
around. This will sure take the leaves off the
trees. Whats good about this wind is that then
everyone gets leaves in their yards, even those

with no trees :-)

Dutch is glued to the window watching the leaves

fly around. He gets so excited and taps at the
window trying to catch them. The outsiders are

used to it and are staying in the corner. Dinky
always stays here so I put a blanket in the corner.

We took it out of the cat house, washed it and

just put it on the deck since they wont go in the
cat house anymore and I have NO idea why.

Penny made meatloaf yesterday and it is so good,
you KNOW its gonna make a great sandwich today.

Of course, as usual, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is

I'm late today, and I really don't have a good
excuse. My nurse was here and the Doctor from
there was supposed to come by but got tied up
at the hospital so he is coming tomorrow. I'm
thrilled. NOT. I don't see a need but then its

their rules.
I hadnt taken my pills yet when Fanesse was here

and my BP is a tad high. 189/105. I immediately took
my pills. I kinda figured it was high since I woke up

with a bad headache. Ive not taken it again so I'm
guessing its ok, I will take it again later.

That pine tree out back, the long needle one is dropping
those needles so fast that the ground is covered. If this
was my place the first thing I'd do is take down that tree.

If its not these needles its the pine cones. Some pine
trees arent shedders like this one and are really pretty.

The one next to it is a beautiful pine, I had never seen
one like it before, almost like a willow tree.

We are expecting storms so I have to charge my chair.

Its making weird sounds. It used to be a silent runner

but the back tires are squeeking. I'm late here and

late for lunch, and..... this GORGEOUS WEEBLE of

Penny is here and we are busy busy, seems
there is always something to do. My kitchen
and bedrooms both need makeovers. Ive
been in this apartment for 3 years and have
not done anything , not changed a thing and
its time.

This is short but I wanted to check in and
give a "hey", so y'all don't worry. Rebecca
was here this morning and threw us behind
schedule. She is doing ok, it was nice to
see her, its been awhile. I want to get stuff
done today cuz the rest of the week is gonna
be busy with company.

Wonder why it is when one thing acts up
everything else does too. Every so often,

every few days, my mouse will not turn on.

I have to unplug it from the back and put

it back in. pain in the butt, its not easy to
reach around back of this computer. Some

times I wonder why we have to have these
big boxes when a laptop can do the same
thing I'm doing with this. Well anyway,
my keyboard didn't work this morning.
jay up there eating, Dinky just looks, good boy....

My mouse, my keyboard, and my monitor ate
a image I had downloaded, well 3 images to
be exact. There was too much on my desktop
and I wasn't paying attention so they still
downloaded but into neverneverland. I know

they were here, cuz I was attaching something
in a mail and I saw them listed, but I didn't see

them when I looked at my desktop. Theyre some
where in a hidden desktop spare or something.
I tried moving the screen and I still didn't see
them. I hate when stuff happens and I don't

know how to fix it.
I have those 2 dummy books for the net and
computers, best thing I did, they are my reference
books, otherwise I ask Google, he knows everything.

I depend on Google for lots of stuff.

Beautiful sunny fall day, the trees are just great.

My yard is so pretty, specially now since all the

birds are back, I saw a robin and dovey is here
and today 3 bluejays. Dinky was right below and
the birds don't care. Dinky doesn't bother them

at all, no need, hes well fed. All my critters eat
better than I do :-)
I have no plans for today so this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE is not gonna do nuthin, just be lazy,
or should I say lazy.ER. :-) Keep well and

I'm sitting here waiting for my nurse to
come. I don't remember what time she

said shed be here when she phoned on
yesterday. She knows to be here before

noon. I have a date with the evaluators

from Southern Care tomorrow. I'm not

looking forward to seeing them, theyre

very discouraging to me. They come every
3 months to see if I have gotten worse,
in other words, to me, they wanna know
how much longer I'm going to make it. I

feel like theyre on the sidelines like vultures

waiting for the corpse.
Nice day today, sunny and warm. The trees are

changing rapidly. Everywhere I can see all the

colors. I can only imagine how beautiful it is
all over this state right now. The leaves are
so vibrant. Its a nice time of year. My sister
usually makes a trip north this time of year.
I have a sore spot right in my right groin, Its

from sitting all the time. It gets really irritated

and red and sore, happens a lot and the only

real solution is to lose some weight. I don't
think I'm overweight, I didn't gain much back
from the 30 I lost but the constant sitting is
the cause. I showed it to Fanesse (nurse) and
she is bringing some good creme for it.

I see her pulling into the driveway so its time
to close. I'm still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE tho,

~Jays Are Back~

It is so nice to see the bluejays back.
Penny put4 new ears of corn out there
yesterday, and you can see in these
photos they're almost bare. Penny is
getting some more corn today. It will
probly go up in price now with hunting
season coming. I don't know if the
hunters are allowed to have bait piles
here in Michigan, but I think you can
in Indiana.
We, well mostly Penny, had to break up
a serious cat fight between Dinky and
Fuzz. Fuzz sneaked up to the food dish
while Dinky was over by the garage. Well
poor Fuzz got spotted and I sat in the
door and watched it go down.
Dinky got up to the ramp, and he started
shaking his head, side to side, while he
put out the most awful growl. He took
slow deliberate steps in time with his
head, ears flat on his head, then he
started to walk kinda sideways as if he
wasn't looking at Fuzz. He was,. :-)

This whole time I want to go out there
and try to stop what I know is coming,
if I wasn't in this chair I would have.
So, I'm telling Penny, "go out there and
break it up!" Penny gives me this 'are
you crazy' look and says, "I'm NOT
going out there!"

While Penny and I are going back and
forth Dinky is slowly stalking Fuzz ,
he makes one lunge and grabs Fuzz
by the neck and the fur started to
fly, the growling, screaming and rolling
all over the deck was amazing. I was
so worried I never did get my camera
out, Fuzz escaped Dinky's wrath and
ran off, he probly wont be back. Dinky
ran Tigger and Adolph off and they
havent come back. Earie and Graybelle
arent afraid of Dinky. What a cat :-)

We cooked a pork roast yesterday and
it will be even better today. I'm still
my GORGEOUS WEEBLE self, keep

~COLD Day~

I want you to know its COLD here
today. Its a beautiful sunny one but

BRRRRR, its a bit nipply. I am NOT

gonna explain that word, you figure

it out :-)

I joined Facebook and said I never would

but I had no choice, I have a friend that
wanted to join and so to help I had to join.

I may not stay. Ive heard lots of bad bad

stories about it and I have enuff crap, I
don't need more.

My stumps, lovelylittlelegs, or what ever you
call them, they HURT today and are making
me miserable. Its this weather changing. I

debated all morning should I turn the heat

on and I just cant, I don't want my bills

to go up. I'm still paying off that huge

electric bill I had. I turn the furnace on

I know my gas will go way up. I am thinking

of getting a space heater, or one that
just heats where you are, I'm only in 2

places here at this desk or on my bed. So
it might be cheaper for me.

Well I'm gonna go find some lunch and I

have to charge my chair.. I'm still a most

~Winter Day~

I seems to me winter is in a rush to get

here. Today is a cold, rainy and damp

day with some high winds at times. I
know it wont be long before it snows.
I already ache from this weather.
I woke up sneezing and had a bout with

a coughing seizure that took my breath
and I couldn't breathe and that scared

me big time. The cats panicked and LB

was crawling all over me whining like he
was trying to calm me down so I could
breathe.
I have already started worrying about

the outsiders. Dinky and Graybelle are
here all the time but they refuse to go

back into the cat house. Penny has
checked it out to see if there was any

thing wrong and its fine, has a nice warm
blanket in there even. Donnie may as well

take it home.

Time for lunch and then a nap, maybe I
can get rid of this headache. I'm still

a most GORGEOUS WEEBLE, keep well

Penny made the best pot of chili when
she was here yesterday, it was just

excelllent. I gave some to Dinky, my
outsider. He loves people food. When

I put cat food out there he looks at me

like I am totally nuts giving that to him.
He gets most indignant :-) He loved the
chili, but not the beans.
I let him eat and after he was done I

asked him if he liked the chili, you see

his face, I think he did ...
I looked out the door last night and I

saw a possum eating the cat food. The

kittie that looks like Dutch was off to
the side watching it then hid behind

the plant. I tried to get a photo but
he was too close and I couldn't get it.

I was surprised to see it.

Today is a dark gloomy cold rainy day. I am
pure d miserable. I ache so bad.. I had a hard

start this morning again. I got so nauseated for

a while I thought I was gonna have to go back
to bed. I didn't and I feel ok other than this
damp achey,, I said Damp... :-)

Time for the leftover chili, I did save some for

me. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE needs nourishing

chili.. Penny has outdone herself.. I am so glad
she is such a good cook, she will be the first to
tell you that she learned from me :-) Time to

This is gonna be short today as its been

quite hetic and I have stuff I want to

get done while Penny is here. Travis

was here for 2 hours and we had a most

unexpected visitor this morning.
Penny looked out on the deck when she

saw something out on there that was

quite out of place. A DOG ! She was

very sweet and came right up to the door.

She ate some of the dry food , then got

the bowl of can food and carried it out

to the yard and licked it clean.
Dutch was beside himself when he saw the

dog, hes only seen the black lab next door.

He slapped the glass and growled.. The dog
kept on eating. I don't know who she does

belong to Ive not seen her before but she
looks like shes had babies. She filled up and

wandered off, I kept watch till she was

gone, soon as she left Dinky came out from

under the deck. :-)

Rainy, dull drab day and I ache. Chili for

lunch and I'm hungry, but then this

GORGEOUS WEEBLE stays that way it

seems :-) I'm off to find food, keep

There is what I saw when I looked outside

this morning. The birdbathfeeder was on
the ground! And if you look at the ones
next, you will see it looks broken! I hope
not, Penny had a hard time finding those-
those birds are so bad! :-) .
Theyre only plastic and I have the 2, one

with water and one with birdseed, but they
cost about $12.00. I don't think we could

one now, maybe on ebay. I don't buy online,
I don't have a credit card, but sometimes
I wish I did, but then again.... I don't like
to charge stuff. I'm used to just paying
for it, then its not a bill.. I get enough
of them as it is!
The honeysuckle looks so pretty right

in the window. The outsiders love the
deck and one of them is always here.

I think of winter coming and these
poor cats, id like to let Graybelle and
Dinky in, but I cant. They slap and
hiss at each other now thru the glass
and I KNOW they all would fight.

Dutch is awful when I have company.
He gets up on my desk, walks around
the monitor 2 or 3 times, then sits

next to the keyboard, then he starts
to hit stuff till it falls on the floor.
He does this in front of everyone. My
nurse , well everybody, laughs at him,

he then gets worse! I tell them DONT
LAUGH! You laugh and then YOU
pick up all the stuff he knocks off! :-)

Ive not decided what I'm gonna have for

lunch. But you know this GORGEOUS

WEEBLE always finds something.... Keep

~Honeysuckle is Bloomin Again~

My honeysuckle is blooming again. I didn't

know it bloomed twice a year, considering
it blooms for a long time. I was giving the
outsiders their breakfast and happened
to look over to see how the sunflowers

were doing, which they are all done. The
two little ones in the flower pot are still
ok.
The honeysuckle is so pretty and the

smell is wonderful. I can see the fall

coming, one of the trees across the
street is changing. I'm not ready for
winter. I ache more then than I do
in the summer. I stay the same constant
temperature tho I guess with air in
the summer and heat in the winter,
but it just seems that winter is worse.
My nurse came yesterday and I am ok.

She checked me over and we are both
glad that the increase in my BP med is
working at keeping me at an even level.

I notice I get really tired in the after

noons and some days have no choice but
to take a nap.. Usually I try to stay up
and then just close down at 9 or so. I

have a hard time staying awake if I
don't take a nap.

Penny is making a roast chicken with
cornbread dressing. I share with the
outsiders. They would rather eat

people food than cat food. My 2 in here
don't like people food, only a taste.
Dutch HAS to taste or smell everything
I eat. Ive learned over the years that I
might as well let him go first or I will NOT
enjoy my food. He will pester me to death
till I give him a taste. LB- he only likes
graham crackers or pringles. He will come
as soon as I open them. :-)

Sorry I missed some days again, and

the bad thing is I have no good excuse,
other than just pure d lazy.. I would
think about it then my mind would go to
something else and by the time I thought
about it again it was way late, but I will

try to do better, but then that's what
I said last time too.. Joys of getting old,
you fergit .. :-)
It was horrible foggy the other morning.

I couldn't even see across the street.
They delayed school opening for 2 hours
and it wasn't even gone totally by then.
Quite a few accidents because of it tho
I ve been making calendars. I love making

these things. If the site I use ever goes

down I would be in big trouble. I wish I
had a program did it all, then Id have no
worries at all.. Everyone seems to like
them, they write and tell me so, its
always nice to know your work is
appreciated.

Ive not heard from Donnie so I don't know
how his back is. I will call him later today,
when hes off work. He never misses work,
he goes no matter how he feels.

This GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry so I
am gonna post this and eat. Again, my

No plans for today and I'm not expecting

any company, with this cool weather its

nice to sit out on my deck, its not quite

done, just some spindles need put in. With
Donnies back so sore I don't expect him
to feel like doing it. Which is ok, I can
still go out there :-)

Penny made a meat pie yesterday and it
will be even better today. Its kinda like
a pasty but bigger. It was so cool I didn't
mind having the oven on, in fact it kinda

took the chill off. Ive had a sweater on

for 2 days. Fall is coming very fast.

Ive been making more calendars. Gives

me something to do, which is a good thing,

I did order some caramels, I had to, they
are so good. Susan will ship them anywhere

and they are a nice gift, "sweets for the

sweet" so to say,, :-)

Not a lot to write about, but I thought

id better write a little something so
y'all don't worry bout me :-) I'm feeling
pretty good, no 'spells' for awhile, I'm
very glad, they scare me...

I'm gonna post this and heat up my

leftover pie. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE

Ive been busy making calendars for email. Its
a lot of fun and I have the best time doing this,
I don't have much that I have to do other than
come here and write to all of you about my most
wonderful exciting life. :-) Which I enjoy doing.
But it dont take a whole lotta time and that gives
lotsa spare time! SO,,,,,,,

I make one for every day of the month out
of anything I find. That's my boys in the one
up there. I wasn't sure they would let me put

I didnt write yesterday cuz it was so noisey,
about drove me insane! The city left a note
on the door telling us not to park in the street,
which Penny parks in back in the driveway,
They repaved the streets. And I bet there
were a dozen trucks, graders and tar putter
downers! A truck put the black tar down,
then a truck behind put a special kind of
sand looking stuff on top of it. I have a
street on 2 sides, north and west so I
got a double dose of it! The noise that is.

Penny is here got us all set for the weekend.
Lunch hasnt been decided, but this GORGEOUS

Then and now..

Today is my boys birthday, Donnie, hes 49

today. I called and sang happy birthday to
him... he laughed. Hes not doing real good,
his back is hurting him just awful. Hes been
to the Dr for it and nothing is working, so
hes decided to go to a choirpractor that's
the wrong spelling but my spel chekr is
broke :-)

Cable guy showed up right on time, I was

waiting for him. He got everything fixed ,
took him at least 2 hours to get it all done.

He said I wasn't getting a strong signal and
now hopefully it will be better, I know my

Internet is faster which is VERY good...

Its a nice day here today and I almost was

gonna have a busy day, my Dr and Travis all

wanted to come by today and that's just too

much for me all in one day. So Travis will

come next week and the Dr will let me know
when he will be coming, I have a feeling I
wont see him till next month. Which is ok. :-)

Other than that I hope the rest of today is

quiet, for some reason I'm sneezing and
coughing and my head feels like I'm getting
hit between the eyes with a hammer.. I my

self think its allergies..

I took, well no, Penny took, some pictures of
me out on my deck yesterday but sadly I am
not going to put them here. Its so sad that

I feel I cant trust anyone with my photos here,
but if you would like one write to me and I

Graybelle is sticking her tongue out at Dutch

Well today has started off crappy.

Besides not feeling the greatest I

am totally mad at CHARTER CABLE

AGAIN! They were sposta come

yesterday and didn't, so I called and

the guy says TOMORROW.. ok, well
today is yesterdays tomorrow and at

10 am when the guy wasn't here I
called CHARTER again.
Dutch loves bags too

The guy meant tomorrow as in Tuesday!

This is so aggravating and yet there is

not one thing I can do.. The girl this

morning said I could have someone come
between 5 and 7 tonite.. That time of

day I am OUT of this chair and the only

reason I will get back in it is to go to the

potty. SO its on the books for tomorrow

being Tuesday between 8 and 10.. lets see

if they show up. I am so fed up with this

company and if I could afford it I would

get the dish.

Other than this all is well, no damage from

the storm yesterday we all survived. The
hail wasn't big enough to do any damage

anyway. We 3 scaredy casts that live here

are such big chickens when it comes to a

storm. LB hides under the couch and Dutch
gets on the back of my chair or in my lap.

Poor mom here aint got no one to comfort me!

My prince I have given up on, he either fell

off his horse or the horse died :-( hes a no-

show like the cable guy...

Penny is here and we are all clean and ready

for another week. We havent decided yet

what shes gonna make for lunch. She IS

gonna make that apple loaf for sure!

Dinky on the deck railing

Todays date, we in America will never forget.

My heart goes out to the family and friends

of those that were lost that awful day, It
is such a horrible tragedy that was deliberately

caused. Its not like a flood or tornado, we as

people didn't cause those acts of nature. I
think of all the thousands lost in that tsunami
in Japan, its different. Hateful people didn't

cause that. Its so sad and I for one don't need

to be reminded to remember, I remember.
Dutch sees Dinky, neither cat is happy.

That awful day I was in the hell home. I do

remember seeing it on TV but that's all. I
was still in a bad mental state and perhaps

I should be glad I don't remember all the
TV coverage, that my mind was off thinking

of ways to get out of there. Which happened

only 4 months later, thank you Lord..
Today I'm waiting for my favorite cable
company to come and fix my cable. it went
out Friday. All my premium channels don't
come in.. SO, needless to say you KNOW

what I did, called and complained as I
always do. I have never had so much
trouble with a cable company as CHARTER

CABLE !! The bad part is there is no other

cable company here in this area..

I don't like when these cable guys come to
my house. In fact I don't like ANY strangers

coming here ! Just being safe. What gets me,
that I don't understand is this... I have 2 tvs

one in the livingroom and one in my bedroom.

Only the one in the living room is acting up!

How can 1 work and 1 not, when they are both
on the same cable? It upsets me when this

cable goes out.

I don't know what is on the menu today as

nothing really sounds good, plus I have to
make it and I really am not up to it. I had

a rough night, I didn't sleep well at all, a

nap may be on the menu!

~Birds Are Back ~

see the little sunflower...

It is a totally gloomy Saturday. Its so dark
out that the yard light is staying on. Its wet

from the rain that's been coming down since

yesterday, which makes it damp and then I

ache. I can feel the change in the weather
already. Fall is coming soon, then the snow.
I am already worrying about the outside cats,

but its 3 winters ive been here and they have

survived,.
I have been worried about not seeing any
birds at all lately. But I was so glad to see

them back. Saves me on birdseed, but Id

rather see the birds. Even the finches havent

been by the sunflowers like last year. The
seed that are in the planter out by the bird

bath has bloomed! I was so surprised to see

that.
I got some news from Donnie that Amber's

baby boy had a seizure of some kind, they
had to fly him up to Borgess in Kalamazoo.

Hes only a few months old, poor little guy.

Donnie said he would be home today. I
sure hope hes ok.
I have no idea what is on the menu for

today as I didn't have Penny make any
thing ahead for me. The pot of beans
she made Wednesday sure were good.
I'm sure this GORGEOUS WEEBLE
will find something. COA brought some
fresh apples and peaches yesterday
and I got a good recipe for apple bread!
3 guesses what will be made Monday.. :-)

~Nurse Visit~

I'm late today but Fanesse came by. Its her

usual day, shes my nurse. I told her about these

spells, and she thinks it may be a heart attack.
I do too. But to have 2 in a week is NOT good.

I had a bad night last night, my chest kept

hurting so I had to keep changing positions. I
will tell my Dr when he comes. I expect him to
come by soon.

Its a rainy day today and I am sneezing and
my nose is runny and I have a head ache, I
just cant win can I,,, :-)

I talked to Donnie yesterday and asked him
what he wanted for his birthday on the 13th.
He said he would let me know. I have NO
idea what to get him. He plans to come up
and finish the dec soon. Hes had a job with
Gerry that they have to finish.

We put on a pot of beans yesterday and it
smells wonderful in here. Small navy beans

in the crock pot. We havent made them in
a long time. I wish I had some cornbread
