Amputee life before and after...

~Good Monday~

We got a lot done today, after Penny had to put the
curtains back up.. Kids walk to the high school across
the road and go right past the house. Dutch sees them
and goes insane almost having to get into the window. He
sits there and gets so excited and even looks like he is
waving to them sometimes.. They smile and wave back at
him... :-) I'm so glad to see the birds outside, and the
squirrels out there.. Both of the boys sit on the table by
the window for hours watching them.. I notice a house
across the street has 2 cats, a black one and a orange one.
I see them outside a lot.. Cold as it is they seem to be
having fun over there.. I wonder sometimes if my boys
really miss that since they have never stepped one foot
outside. Closest was when LB got out of the apartment
and into the hallway...

There is a furniture store in Coldwater called Longstreet.
I phoned them as their ad said delivery.. I called to get
prices on a bed.. Just for the frame and mattress and box
springs as I don't want a head board or foot board... I lay
opposite remember.. I sleep side ways on a full size bed..
I sure need to get a bed though, sleeping on this couch
just doesn't work.. I cant hardly move let alone get really
comfy.. plus Its not as wide.. Its served its purpose and it
saved having to move it so I did things right.. I talked to
a sweet girl at LongStreet, named McKenzie, and I could
have a bed delivered as soon as tomorrow... IF I had the
money in my bank, which of course I don't, having to pay
for this move and chair and rent and the cable deposit,
I would tell her to deliver it. I can wait and if I balance
right hopefully soon I can get this bed...

I called R & R again this morning, and I got the excuse, "no,
the batteries did NOT come in last Wednesday, we are
hoping today. we cannot predict delivery people".. So.. that
means wait, and see when they get them in.. I put in a call
to Deborah at HPM and maybe she knows of another company
that DOES have batteries and can bring one sooner than
"sometime".... I could do so much more here if I had this
power chair running.. so anyway, I am on hold for that too...
But we, well Penny got a lot done today and I'm glad..

I'm ready to eat some lunch and take a five, I'm ready for
a break and shall hopefully get some calls back.. I'm waiting
for 3 of them... so until then this tired GORGEOUS WEEBLE
says, "G'Day, G'Day".... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend",
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

    Hello Lois
So glad Penny is helping you getting thing put up...it does take a while to get it all done.
Do you still have snow on the ground?
It has been cold to me today, around the upper 40's, right now it is 41F.
I got my housecoat on to help keep me warm, going to try to fine me a long one to keep my legs and feet warm.
I think I took a little cold, a little under the weather right now.
    God bless you Lois.
    Mary
