Amputee life before and after...

~I Hab A Told~

Now I have a cold with a horribly runny nose.. I
sneezed all over my monitor yesterday that took
me for ever to wipe off :-) I have the worst luck
with places that make mistakes and then I HAVE
to end up paying for it.. NOW? Its my SSI and
SS...SS made a mistake in 2007.. They say "Oops.
we are sending you a check to make up for it".
Which ok great! BUT!!! Because I am getting this
mistake check, they are not sending my regular
SSI check... Which.. Am I missing something?
I have to not get my regular check, not counting
getting all these letters, because of their giving
me what was already mine? Why should ANY
thing had to change? Just send the mistake check!

I have gotten at least 4 letters about all this and
I cant get over how they do things... Wasn't my
mistake, yet I PAID for it by losing my monthly
SSI check, for only a month...In January, the
girl at SS said everything would go back to what
it was... but I lost a check... Sure this mistake
check was a lot, but why should it have cost me.
I don't know who to ask about this... but some
of the pieces in this puzzle don't fit... *Sigh*

I need a nap, and then again, I dunno, I have a
spot on my tail bone AGAIN, that is driving me
nuts.. I'm really babying it by trying not to put
all my weight directly on my tailbone but spreading
in out more to my hips, which then makes them
ache, then I lean on my arms and put most of my
weight on them for a while... See? Chair living is
just SUCH FUN~~! :-)

I have to change positions so I'm gonna go sit
out in the kitchen and have some lunch.. I had
expected to wake up to snow, nothing yet.. The
sky is threatening, but I don't think its cold
enough... Its a nice change.. Plus I need a Kleenex

I shall Return, and I'm still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE.
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You " is my prayer today.
I'm honored to call you Friend.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

When you become an amputee, your body, like a statue, is different. Through physical therapy and everyday living, you become much more sensitive to everything you do and how your body reacts.
My body certainly enjoys a smoke. I can feel with intense feelings the constrictive qualities that a smoke induces.
