~BRRRR-- Tis COLD!~ :-)

BRRRRRR... talk about COLD! wow.!. My windows are
all those thermo pane double glass kind, and there
is sposta be NO drafts.. Well when its below zero
it WILL get through.. :-) Right now the temp is
10 degrees.. with the windchill making it seem like
its about 4 below zero. Not real windy, made up for
that yesterday.. by late afternoon though was still
bitter cold but the sun kept trying to peek thru..

The cats little feet are cold.. I am debating on making
them slippers :-) I think LB would wear them, Dutch?
That kid aint doing NOTHING that I want him to :-)
He wont wear a collar.. LB will.. I made them each one,
lovely really nice, elastic too, so there was no danger
of them choking.. LB strutted around, he liked looking
good with that collar on.. Dutch? Well... I put his on,
and about 15 minutes later, I'm sitting at my puter
and this cat comes running up to me, LB right behind,
I look down at Dutch and his whole face is bloody...
I almost freaked... He had dug at the collar and got
it caught in his mouth, yet still around his neck.. He
kept digging at his face, well his mouth to get it
unstuck and kept clawing and drew blood.. Needless
to say I got it off and neither of my boys will wear
a colllar again.. Even though they look so cute with
them on... :-)

Today, Penny is here, she braved the cold. I told
her she needs one of those indoor starters for her
car .. David had one.. So by the time he went outside
the car was warm and the windshield defogged :-)
She went to the store since she and I BOTH are
hungry for fish.. She loves it and no one at her house
does...So she doesn't fix fish.. Today she and I are
gonna enjoy some fresh cod.. Nice big chunks, dipped
in egg, then some of those great Progresso Italian
bread crumbs.. only kind I will use.. They are seasoned
so great.. I use them in anything that takes bread
crumbs. Then shes gonna fry them on the stove.. I cant
wait and I know she cant either.. :-)

Donnie keeps bragging about the great fish in his lake
that he gets, when he has time to go, perch mainly or
crappie I think.. not sure.. I steady ask him to bring me
some but he never does.. :-) I talked to Joe, my landlord,
he lives down here on Palmer Lake, he said he can see
lots of ice shacks on it.. Knowing people are fishing.. He
doesn't go.. Can you imagine the view he must have?
Lucky dog :-) I told him that would be the only thing
that could be improved about this place ..... if it was on
the lake... Oh well.. cant have it all.. Joe did say that
perhaps maybe THIS summer I could go over to his
place and take a nice pontoon ride.. THAT would be
GREAT!...

Well lunch is almost ready and this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE is hungry :-) You knew that though :-) So..
that means post time and for my "I shall Return!" :-)

Always, Lois ****

God Bless You, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

    Hello Lois.
Just a little snow this morning, we did three load of moving James thing into his apartment today...this afternoon the snow got very heavy, so the moving came to a stop for now...he has lots of boxes to work with anyhow. His bed is there, computer and some food...he back home to stay.
I think it was a wonderful day, never move in the snow before...and now it can snow all he wants too...I love my soup like you love your meat pie...so very good anytime.
I did make that cake last night,so happy I did...I like cake better then cookies anytime.
    Stay warm and dry Lois.
    God bless you.
    Mary

    Hi, Honey,
It's cold here, too. We had an inch or so of snow last night. Holly will be trying to persuade me to throw snowballs for her! She just loves that!
See, I said the snow that was left was hanging around for some more. Eat your heart out, Al Gore. It was ALL lies!!
    Take care, Honey,
    Luv Ya,
    Raife

Speaking of lakes: It is too cold to go to Brighton Beach. In the summer we go sit in a pavilion at the Beach overlooking the ocean. My patient is thinking of buying an apartment, but it probably will be miles from the ocean.

    Hi Mary,
I LOVE soup too.. I may make some bean soup today, well put it in the crock pot for tomorrow.. Im glad James is getting settled..its so unnerving to live out of a box...and if he has his computer.. will be homey real fast!

    Hiya Raife!! :-)
Its super cold here but we are used to it..Most people wear CAR HARTS.. which is cold weather gear.. Good exercise for Holly..:-) and for Dad I think! :-)

    Hiya Momar..
Id LOVE to live over looking a lake or river.. my hearts desire, next to riding the train.. Im still hoping I can ride the train.. and unless my boy lets me move in with him I dont think I will be living on a lake :-)
