~Been Busy Day~
Talk about a hetic day, sheesh.. Was a steady "go"
day... First off my phone rang off the hook getting
all the return calls I didn't get yesterday. I was glad
they called back! specially since one of them was from
Jim, with R & R.. I like him a lot better than Dave. He
doesn't have the arrogant attitude that Dave has and
Jim is just a nice guy. Hes the one that usually brings
my stuff I get from them.. So he will be here with the
battery for my power chair about threeish he said. I
will be SO GLAD~!~.. will sure help me get stuff done.
Rebecca came today as well and was so glad to see how
much I have gotten done.. I shouldn't say "I" got done.
No, Penny has done a lot.. well I wouldn't have gotten all
this packed without her. I'm grateful that Rebecca knew
of this place... There are a few spots that do need some
attention here that are causing drafts and making the
furnace click on too much.. Under the sink in the kitchen
is a major area.... I will have Donnie look at it...Plus there
is a hole in the wall in the bathroom closet that worries
me as they can get in there and by the bathtub..they
could get stuck!.. Dutch managed to get that door open the
other day, how, I have NO idea, had to just not been closed
tight or the boy has really learned a new trick!.. :-)
I was sitting here at my desk and looked over at the bath
room door cuz I heard Dutch sneezing.. He came walking
out of there COVERED in cob webs, nasty dirty ones! His
whole face was covered and he sat there trying to get them
off.. I rolled over to him, he takes one look at me getting
closer and the guilty look on his face when I said "WHERE
HAVE YOU BEEN LITTLE MAN?" He took off running
HAVE YOU BEEN LITTLE MAN?" He took off running
down the hall into the kitchen.. It was so nasty where ever
he was he looked like a BROWN cat!... I finally caught him
and wiped him down.. he had big fun.. but I bet he doesn't
get in there again.. I did notice though that they BOTH
want to get in there.. LB whines and cries sometimes.. I just
hope there are no mice or other uglies inside there.. I aint
opening that bathroom closet door.. Penny can.. not me.. I
don't like mice, and bugs and ick... I don't keep anything
I need in that closet.. stuff for company yes.. not me :-)
well I aint opening that door ! I have said many times.. I am
well I aint opening that door ! I have said many times.. I am
just as big a scaredy cat as these other two here ! :-)
My boy phoned me back AFTER I called him... when I said
hello his first words were "I know, I didn't phone last nite,
sorry".... I laughed and was glad they made it home ok.. His
family is going through some hard times. Barb, Donnies mom,
great lady, a dear friend. Barb was diagnosed with stage 3
cancer in her lungs and lymph nodes. Stage 3 is inoperable.
She has had a radiation treatment and I believe is going to
have chemo as well... I wish there was something I could do.
All I can do is to ask her to please try the carrot juice. It
may be too late to cure it, but maybe it can stop it from
getting worse... Its a proven fact by the AMA that carrotene
is a KNOWN cancer retardant.. Of course they don't say
that out loud and where I saw it printed was just a tiny
article, they don't want us to know of any kind of remedy
that is cheaper than chemo or radiation or all the pills they
dish out... I hope she at least would give it a try.. Myself,
even as bad as I hate carrots, I would drink them.. if it
was even slightly possible to help, and I firmly believe in
these kind of treatments....
Anyway, Donnie is coming over today after work to hang my
mirror for me I am so glad, then I can put the rest of the
stuff up.. Its a tradition I started way back in 90 when I
inherited my mothers dining room mirror, there were 2 and
one has disappeared during the move from the apartment.
But I don't put anything up on my walls until the mirror is
up.. Its showing the years I noticed it has a crack in it... But
its still great.. I love mirrors... well ALL GORGEOUS WEEBLES
LOVE MIRRORS ! :-) It will seem more like home once she
is hanging on the wall....
Well was a very good day today and not over yet, soon the boy
will be here and I fixed dinner for him to take home. Just a
nice roast that Penny picked up and I baked it with onions and
potates in a nice fat free gravy... Will save Dawn from having
to cook, working 12 hours, 6 days a week shes tired... and I
don't mind helping out... Theyre good to me.. Who would hang
my mirror if I didn't have the boy! :-) My other 2 boys are
too far away!... :-)
Time to post and get more done plus I'm hungry! Time for
my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "G'day G'day" :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya and Thanks!
Always, Lois ****

Hello Lois
Those hectic days give us something extra to talk about. And that could be a good thing.
My friend Patsy is back in town, just in time to go out to eat at noon...she call me just before she got in town to eat out.
I watch Michael play basketball tonight, hoping Pam would be there too...Found out she was having lot's of seizure so her staff didn't want to bring her...and that was good they didn't. Wish they would have call me and told me.
Glad it not snowing here. Pam will be moving to her new place soon I think. I will be glad when that all done and before real bad weather set's in. I don't know the date yet, but it should be soon.
God bless you Lois

Hello Dear,
Well - hopefully by now you are rolling along under power! Will make those long trips a little easier - lol.
Well - any new place - there are always a few surprises. Hopefully the draft will get stopped - and maybe a patch can be put on the hole in the wall. Leave it to the boys to expore and find things!
Does sound like you are making progress. And of course you love mirrors, gorgeous one that you are! Wish I had a magic mirror that I could see you in!
Take care Hon - always thinkin of you!
Bare Hugs,
Butty
