~Not That Bad Out~

We didn't wake up to NEAR anything of what we expected or were

told to expect..Wasn't bad at all..It was icy and sloppy a tad..but I

watched the cars..I didn't see the speed slower than usual down

these streets.. by 10 they were just about clear..There was ice tho

all over the birdseed and corn.. We watched a squirrel for a while,

digging at the ice to get at the corn beneath..He got it..He would

stuff a bunch into his mouth then run up the fence and sit and one

time he sat there and looked at us..dead on..I knew he could see

us..he sat up his little feet tucked in front of him just like he was

posing for me and I didn't have my camera..By the time I got to my

desk and back with it..he was gone.. We did see 2 blue jays today

though.. just beautiful..but again.. I didn't have my camera by me..

It takes me so long to get back and forth..then coming back I try

to be super careful carrying that camera I don't want to drop it.. the

door to the batteries and card wont closed already and I sure don't

want to damage it further as much as I love that thing.. its just so

easy to take that card out and get the photos and not have to take

them to be developed..I like that.. but I think taking so many that I

wore out that little door using it so much .. Maybe it wasn't really

designed for a lot of use..like what I put it through :-)
I tried using my webcam to take a photo for today but well..it is

just not behaving right...So I dug out a photo from my older ones

that I don't think I have put here. I know was taken about 2 yrs

ago..was at the apartment..when I had my computer in my bed

room.. I felt like I only lived in one room of my whole place only

to venture out like the squirrels to eat and do personal things :-)

The way it looks around my desk here is awful it looks like I live

right here in this corner.. I need to get a filing cabinet.. just to

sort out all the paper work I have to keep things straight.. I hate

when things are messy but when you don't have the room to put

anything.. The table here next my desk works..but all the space

beneath it could be used if I had a file cabine..a lot of this stuff

here on my desk would be put in it.. and I know one will fit there I

already measured to make sure.. Im hoping Santa will bring one

for me.. maybe if I give him some 'special' cookies he will :-)

I cannot believe its almost Christmas again.. I swear it was only

last week I said I wasn't going to let it get ahead of me and I was

going to get every thing done early.. Never does any good to say

it cuz I never do it.. Then last minute Im stuck.. I do have some

things in mind for the D's..but I havent decided.. I did do a state

quarter collection for them.. I have them all but the last one for

2007 ..then they will have to get the ones for next year.. But I have

3 sets.. One is first out ones..then one set is the D mint..which is

Denver..the other is a P mint which means Philadelphia is where

the coins were minted. I didn't know that at first, then when I found

out I did the 2 separate ones.. It was something to do and I thought

that it would be a nice collectible for them.. I had heard that in a few

years these collections will be valueable..I also have some of the

new nickles.. coins are interesting..some pennies are worth a dollar.

that's a pretty good deal... Every once in a while I find a good coin..

I just found a couple old wheat pennies that are hard to find.. I have

a big jar and I put them all wrapped separately of course in it.. I

have quite a few odds and ends.. I save what catches my eye..

I collected some old stamps I happened to run across and I have my

collection of old ladies hankerchiefs.. no..I should say ladies OLD

hankerchiefs.. Years ago..that's what you carried.. not Kleenex.. I

know my mother had tons of them.. I have hers.. she would get a new

fresh one to carry in her pocket all the time.. I know I did too for a long

time..when I would go to church I always carried extra..our pastor

could put us to tears in a heartbeat.. and even though most had Kleenex

I liked to give some that were close to me a nice clean pretty hanky..

They would return it..but I always let them keep it.. I collected them every

where I went.. I have had these now since I was a little girl.. I keep them

in a metal container that looks like a basket with handles.. painted with

pansies all over it.. I bet there are at least 100 in it.. I collect so many

different things.. or I did.. I don't anymore.. everything I have collected

all they do is collect dust or are packed away .. and I don't add to the

collections since I really don't have anyone that would be interested in

the same things I collected over the years... I have collected TOO much.

I was surprised that some of my collections didn't get ruined when they

were stored so badly those 2 years..

Well this lady is tired.. Sunday morning I could have slept late and I rolled

out at 530. don't ask me why , I have NO idea.. My eyes just opened and

as hard as I tried to go back to sleep..nope..I just could not..the boys

didn't even bother me.. I woke up once during the night and took me what

seemed forever to dig out from the blankets after pushing 2 cats off first..

that's why I wake totally up when I have to make a potty call for what I

have to go through to get there...Its been a long day and I am in great

need to get out of this chair though.. My butt says so...and anyway us

GORGEOUS WEEBLES need a lot of beauty sleep ... "Nitey Nite"
