~New Living Room Chair~

I want you to look at my new living room chair! Isnt it just

great? Look closely at the bottom and of course, there is

the boy peeking out.. isnt that just cute? I was glad I got

that taken just in time... The covering of the chair is my

quilt..colors go great with my burgundy, do you see what

chair it is? Well I'm in my power chair now as of this

morning.. so I didn't know WHAT to do with my manual

chair... Well..there you see what I did with it.. The brake

IS set.. Penny sat in it and her feet didn't even reach

the floor!!! Shes so tiny... She wanted to know where I got

the chair, then when she looked closer under the quilt, she

saw the wheelchair :-) I'm so smart... I think it just looks

great myself... :-D
My boy came over last night, Donnie, and he brought the

dog, Jerky. He didn't know how to act seeing so much room

in here, he had a good time.. Of course the boys hid from

him..well until Donnie aggravated LB.. As you see in the photo

my MIRROR is UP!!! We are offically HOME... Well for him

to put the mirror up, Donnie had to move the couch.. well you

see the couch is up on the risers...so he had to reach under

and hold the cone at the same time.. I sure didn't want the

couch to fall and smash LB! Well when he reached under

there, of course LB was already mad, Jerky was here, so he

was growling big time letting us know he was furious. I told

Donnie to be careful but he reached under too close and LB

slapped the daylights otta his hand then bit his finger..
Donnie wasn't too happy.

When Donnie yelled at LB that put Jerky on alert and he

came charging in to see what was wrong with his dad.. Well

I thought Jerky was going to help Donnie, all he did was

see LB all mad and hear the growls and Jerky went whining

down the hall to hide in the KITCHEN!!! talk about a BABY!

90 pound dog, afraid of a 10 pound cat.. We laughed.. If it

had been Donnies other dog, DJ, well LB would have been

a dead cat... DJ was a yellow lab that just never came home

one day, about broke Donnie and Kelli's hearts they had

him for at least 15 years.. We think he just went off into

the woods he loved and died.. that's what we hope anyway,

he was one of the best dogs.. Donnie loved that dog...I did,

I was never afraid when we babysat the farm when DJ

was there... great animal....but all yellow and blacks are,
Chocolate labs which is what Jerky is, are more hyper

I think anyway...


Penny came today and we hung some photos and the walls

are looking good.. Its really looking nice in here and I love

it.. Being in this power chair sure makes a big difference

and I can do more.. I did find out though I am NOT good

at backing up.. but I never was with a car either.. I always

went crooked and I do the same with this chair.. I tried

to back up into the hallway to take the photo and almost

backed into the wall.. The boys arent too keen about this

chair either.. and I have to really watch to make sure I

don't smush them or much worse run over them.. I ran

over a phone book and turned the wheel a tad and well

that book is in shreds now.. I did NOT know that this

chair takes 2 batteries though... Its running really good

now and I can get so much more done...I'm pleased...

I'm gonna take a lunch break and take a 5, its been really

hectic this week already and tomorrow Theresa is coming

about 10.. I would like to have this all nice for her when

she comes the first time to see it.. Its such a great place,

she will be VERY happy for me.. I feel like I have stepped

UP in the world so to speak having such a nice place.. AND

to be able to just open that front door and go outside?

Well you KNOW what Penny and I will be doing !...

Its time to post, have a snack, take a five and back to work.

By this time next week this place will be in top running order,

I have NO doubts... This power chair has this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE on a fast steady roll... "Nitey Nite" :-)
