~Nice Morning~ :-)

I was sitting in my usual spot at the kitchen

table having coffee and looking out at the

bird seed and corn out there, worrying why

the birds hadnt been here in what seemed

like ages.. I enjoy watching them and when

they don't come by every day I miss those

little birds :-) Today they came back and I

was MOST pleased, and I enjoyed my coffee

even more.. :-)


First a dove came, then 3 more, then the little

brown guys just seemed to swarm all over and

landed everywhere. They are so skittish the

slightest thing and they take off... I saw the

wood pecker, then the blue jay.. they flew off

and then came the beautiful cardinal... The wood

pecker came back and tried to chase him off,

but he didn't move till he got his fill of the corn.

My snow shovel is out there by the corn stand..
I cant shovel so in case we get a bunch of snow

and its not shoveled to get in here, well.. there

is a shovel ! :-) Shovel your way in.. :-) We were

in that blind spot and compared to what they

got around us we are VERY lucky..

I got a letter from the United Way that they are

going to give me a Christmas food basket..with a

turkey and veggies n'stuff... I have to call as the

distribution day is on a Thursday which is Pennys

day off.. I think they might deliver it to me which

would be great. Ive not done a lot to really get into

the Christmas mood.. I had hoped this would be a

very special one and it is not going to be what I had

hoped.. I still have not put up my tree and I am not

real sure that I will.. Penny asks to get it out and

she would set it up for me, but I am just not in the

Christmas mood.. I still have to get some cards

ready to send, by the time I get them done it will

be new years :-)

I havent decided what will be my sat day dinner..

I'm not sure what I want yet, I know I will find

something out there, I always do :-) GORGEOUS
WEEBLES need food :-) But, I shall return!
