~Happy Birthday Mark!~ :-)

Today is my youngest son, Mark's birthday.. He is 43 today.. :-)
He was born on my 3rd wedding anniversary ... Amazing how
The time has gone by so fast..

Bad thing is we don't realize how fast until we

really have NO choice but to slow down or retire

and realize just where we are in our lives.. We,

ok.. me.. I look at my boys.. that have kids, that

have made me a gramma, :-) I look at Kelli.. which

there, I can REALLY see how fast the time has

gone... When Mark was here, I REALLY knew how

fast time had gone by... :-)

That's one of my favorite photos of Mark.. He

wasn't feeling good that day and was so sick.. He

didn't want to be in bed.. so I put his bathrobe on

and his slippers.. his blanket is on the floor.. but

you can see just a bit of it by his left fingers :-)
I sat him in the kitchen with me, I was probly

cooking or something.. but he was there :-) and

that made him feel better.. When Mark was tired

or sick, he didn't suck his thumb.. he did his 2

middle fingers.. as you see in the photo.. His

left hand he would finger the edge of his blanket,

rub the silk edge between his fingers.. :-) He had

a routine.. He was.. well still is .. a cute kid :-)

I woke up last night about 2:30, WIDE awake.. I

laid there for over an hour staring at the nothing!
I finally got up, well sat up, and turned the TV on.

Every channel said 'paid advertising'. I get 162

channels.. 99% of them said that..:-( I checked

HBO and I don't think they have changed their

movies since I first got it.. There is a channel

called Flix, I watched a movie on that.. was one

I had already seen but was a good one.. I don't

remember now what it was :-) But I know I

didn't lay back down till almost 5.. I did go back

to sleep and got up about 8:15 this morning.. I

have NO idea why I couldn't sleep.. I felt ok,

no pains or anything.. and I hadnt taken a nap

yesterday either.. So.. now , by doing THIS, I

bet I have thrown my whole sleep routine into

chaos and well.. I will have to see what time I

shut down today, but I bet I end up taking a

nap ! :-) Which is ok.. I have no plans or expect

anyone.. So Anyhoway..

I am hungry.. I don't know really what I want.. I

have all kinds of food in the freezer I could

cook.. and I have mixes and soups.. I just don't

FEEL like going thru the hassle of fixing stuff,

making a mess, having to clean it up.. knowing

by then my arms and hands will be hurting so

bad I will have wished I hadnt started making

anything! :-) I do have some good Progresso

soup though.. I may heat that up.. its just a matter

of putting it in a bowl.. Not a lot of cleanup..

With spring comes the ants.. I bet I killed 4 or 5

of them yesterday, those big black ones.. I know

Penny killed at least 2 or 3.. Joys of spring.. but

with them around I don't like to leave dishes in

the sink or anything out.. Usually I just put the

dishes I use in the sink, I rinse them off, but I

leave them for Penny, I could wash them but to

hold my arms up over the sink for any length of

time.. well.. it makes them ACHE!!!! alot...and she

tells me to leave them for her.. She keeps this

place very clean and we try not to mess it up..

So when she comes some times she looks for

extra stuff to do.. so she doesn't mind if I

leave dishes for her :-)

Its a very nice day today, a nice one for Alex's

party.. With Barb, Donnies Mom, here I KNOW

theres gonna be some great food.. Plus Jorge,

from what I hear is a VERY good cook.. I know

Donnie is great with a grill :-) I hope Mark and

ALex have great birthdays.. Mom and Gran says

"Happy Birthday Honeyboys" :-)

AND this GORGEOUS WEEBLE says.. "I Shall

Return !! " :-)
