~Yard Work~ :-)

There you can see the edge of the slab at both ends

of the sidewalk.. Carl said at one time it was all edged

and looked really nice.. The far slab is where I would

like to have the grass cleared off, and edged.. I think

it would really look nice.. I had even pictured it with

railings kind of at each corner, with an arch going into

it at the far side :-) The 2 birdbaths out there, the

stand.. and maybe even a nice white birdhouse.. :-) I

see the garden lady has a couple of birdhouses and I

do see the birds going into them... It could be so pretty

out there.. Something even nicer to look at.. I do enjoy

it now.. but well I see it as what it could be if I can get

it done.. Well ok.. what someone could make it look like

for me :-)
See to the right... that's the hummer stand feeder holder.

Penny cleared out all around it..there were some really ugly viney

type junk out there that spread all over last year.. Maybe

we can get a head start on it and get rid of it before it

takes good hold.. Its all around the peonies too and gets

all up in them.. We are keeping the rope Carl used last

year to tie them up.. I know they will need it again this

year..

Below the hummer feeder Penny planted some.. well ..
LOTS of sunflower seeds.. I saw 4 rabbits out there

and I KNOW that once they spot those seeds growing

they will more than likely eat them... So to make sure

I have a few out there .. shes planted a lot of them :-)
I'm hoping those morning glories will come back this year..

Some do.. some don't.. Donnie had some HUGE blue ones

that came up every year around his deck he built at the

farm.. I know they didn't plant them... I sure wish I

could get my old cement birdbath back.. Its lost I guess.

I gave, well let them use the cement one I had that was

my moms.. Was always out in the back yard.. I love my

little white ones.. But sure would be nice to see that one

I usta have.. :-)
Crows or Black Birds ? Pretty what ever they are :-)

My eyes have been giving me fits lately.. The left, blind

one especially.. Everyone notices.. cuz the eyelid is so

swollen.. the right is a little but not near as bad as the

left one.. I have NO idea what it is.. But I did look it up

on line to see if its anything I should worry about.. And

its ok.. just allergies.. which I guess explains why they

constantly tear up and I look like ive been crying for

days ! :-) I just cant win... I almost have to pry them

open in the morning.. :-) Dutch offers.. but sandpaper

licks hurt :-) I use my old stand by.. Warm, almost hot

water compresses a couple times a day.. Seems to be

helping.. My brothers have allergies REALLY bad.. I

guess I do now too :-)
Male Cardinal.. what a beauty :-)

There were lots of visitors out at the seeds today.. I

sure enjoy seeing all those birds.. Even those crows or

blackbirds are so pretty.. They just seem to be almost

iridescent.. Such a wide variety of colors out there..

From that almost regal red Cardinal.. to the sassy bluejay

then the black, plus there are the doves.. They look so

soft and almost velvety... Ive not seen the woodpecker

lately.. Well not for quite awhile.. I cant wait for the

hummers to come back.. I sure enjoyed them.. As last

summer wore on they kinda got used to me.. and would

tease me I think by getting right in front of me and

just hovering.. :-)

Lunch time and I am not sure what I will make.. I have

some ground meat, and goulash sounds so good.. I may

make some of that.. Our pizza yesterday was wonderful!
Between Penny and I we ate all of it :-) She was hungry

for pizza too.. For all the people she has at her house to

feed would cost her a fortune to order pizza.. and this

DiGiorno is just as good as Pizza Hut I think... so she

enjoyed it too :-) Penny usually has lunch here the days

she works..She cooks it.. so ... she deserves to eat it

too! She always makes enough for both of us plus some

left overs.. Meatloaf sounds good too now that I think

about it .. Hmmmm.. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE just has

so many decisions to make.. Every day :-) I like these

food kinds of decisions the best ! :-) Gotta go.. but

remember.... "I shall return!" :-)
