~Nest Building Rules?~ :-)

I was looking out the front door, for a change,

this morning, just to see if it had been cleaned

up.. which it has.. I'm VERY glad for that..it was

disgusting to see HUGE piles of dog poopies all

over my yard.. While I was peeking thru the mini

blinds, I could see some movement in my Lilly of

the valley flower bed.. which.. it needs to be made

smaller..its even bigger this year. I saw this bird,

I think its one of those tail less starlings.. Cute

little bird.. and it paid NO attention to me.. I am

guessing its a female.. she was gathering grasses

and stuff for a nest! :-) I am guessing that the

female makes the nest.?. I don't know the nest

building rules :-) Probly the female.. We HAVE to
do EVERYTHING .. :-)
All the birds have been busy gathering stuff.. Ive

seen the Robin.. Shes too fast and I cant get a

picture of her.. Ive tried.. :-) Well the robins hop,

and its harder to focus.. These little guys sort of

run on the ground, like the doves.. :-) But I thought

the one was so cute, she just looked up at me as

if to say "I'm Busy!" and kept gathering those dead

leaves of the flowers.. They should work good for

a nest..
I can see a nest being built in the pine tree out back.

and I KNOW the blue jay had a nest in that birch

tree in Carls yard.. Ive seen them attack the cats .

And Ive seen sometimes 2 or 3 of them on the bird

feeder.. Penny and I never did decide what to fill

the base of the new birdbath with, sand or water..
I don't think water would be good it would get stinky

and stagnate and I don't know, but would water be

heavier than sand? I think sand would be heavier.

I do know I'm anxious to get my back yard all done..

While I was looking out the front door I saw the

tree farther down, budding out.. the white one..

then that beautiful pink this side of it.. Those trees

are so beautiful.. Theres one on the other side of

the garage... This is a pretty area.. Everyone takes

good care of their yards.. :-) The garden lady has

been busy too.. Her flowers are up.. Lots of daffys..

Its a cold rainy day, dark and gloomy.. Rebecca was

due at 8:30 but didn't make it till 10.. Her boy has

the same trouble with his ears as my oldest son did..

They had to put tubes in his ears... and Rebecca's

boy is going thru the same thing.. She said its very

painful.. I don't remember it being that painful for

Richard, .. but I was more concerned that he

lost his hearing.. :-(

Richard was sitting right up close to the TV.. on the

floor.. Closer than usual.. I said something to him..

and had to repeat myself 4 or 5 times.. saying what

ever it was, but getting louder every time.. He did

NOT hear me.. that's why he was so close to the TV.

I took him to the Dr the next day... and plans were

made to put tubes in his ears.. It helped.. and he got

his hearing back.. Scared me..

I'm deaf in my left ear.. I had constant ear infections

growing up AND swollen glands it seemed EVERY week

end.. But my ear drum ended up broken and now I don't

hear very well .. I get tired of saying "WHAT??????" So

I have to remind Penny, even Donnie to TALK LOUDER!!

My sister is very hard of hearing..

I do know I can hear my kitchen calling me when I'm

hungry though :-) WHICH..its lunchtime!!! So.... three

guesses where this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is headed now?

Yup.. to find some food..

COA doesn't get here till about 1, and I'm kinda hungry.. I

have some fish I want to fix, its a lot of work, the cutting

into chunks and breading it.. THEN the cooking.. THEN

the clean up.. I may wait till tomorrow to have the fish..

Then Penny can help :-) Sandwich time I think :-) fast

and easy :-) Soooooo......

Post time and for my "I shall return!" I'm gonna watch

it RAIN ! :-)
