~Dedicated Worker?~

That is a dedicated worker I would say..Ive seen this guy every day

since Ive lived here go by on his bike..Why hes on it I have no

idea..my thought is "bet he lost his license".. which may or may

not be the case, but I give him credit for still going on.. The times

of day I see him is consistent with the big plant down the street

and their working hours..They don't have to keep the sidewalk

clear over there for some reason..yet the ones in front of the

houses like mine..we do or we could get in trouble..They say we

have to for the mailman or he wont deliver the mail if he cant get

to the box, yet they say thru wind Or sleet or snow..well not if its

not shoveled...the sidewalks on this side are cleared..many

people walk this street all year long as the major shopping

stores are only about 2 blocks or so down ...well west..going to

the right on that photo..

They had predicted such bad weather for us..and it really wasn't

too bad..the side roads were slippery and walking..but here in town

I saw salt trucks out when I got up at 4 this morning..and the roads

are clear..I havent seen any cars going slow at all...they have their

normal FAST speed on...They say tomorrow we are due to get

some more junk..I will check out my window .. the best forecaster

there is..SEEING.. :-)

I had a nice surprise today made me feel good I have been so down

in the dumps with the loss of my friend...and that was my sister and

her hubby.. Shirley knows my door would be open and she just barged

right in and scared the daylights out of me.. I wasn't expecting her and

Stanley at all.. I forgot he got back yesterday..She brought my Christmas

and some quilt tops so I can put together some quilts for the new baby.

She brought me all kinds of goodies..They are very good to me.. She

got a new winter coat that is so pretty..I think she gets one every year,

if she sees something she likes she gets it..Stanley works part time at

night making molds for the company he used to own..just to help them

out..Hes the best fiberglass and mold maker in all of Indiana..he knows

his stuff..He had his own company making caps for pick up trucks, at

one time he had his own company plane..hes a workaholic like Donnie,

Stanley cannot do NOTHING..he has to steady go..he'd be miserable

just sitting.. he would drive Shirley nuts if he was home all the time :-)

hes a good man...a hard worker and a devout Christian...

Penny was late but she went to the store for me and picked up a great

big green Icee from DQ...its lime..the same kind that Dutch knocked

over on me..We now put it into a bottle with a cap..then I don't have to

worry about it getting knocked over.. I still have to get something for

my coffee, when I bring it in here I don't take my hand off it until ive

drank every bit of it.. I wont do that again..that really hurt for a while..

not counting scaring me, I was Lucky, It could have been worse..I

think the heavy skirt really helped.

Tomorrow the SS will call and I have to fill out that application for it..

I have NO choice either..I do have to remember to mention that I

do have a husband....well an ex, that I was married to for longer than

10 years..that was my 2nd..Willie.. I hope they don't ask for proof..

that could be a problem getting.. I was married in Houston and the

divorce was in Indiana..well he was there I was in Michigan.. I will

have to see when they phone tomorrow.. I hope it goes ok.. I sure

am keeping my fingers crossed..if I find that my SSI will be reduced,

well I don't know what I would do.. I have NO idea how I would get

by..I barely do now..9:30 tomorrow they are due to phone, I'll know

more after that.. I will take notes...

Im ready for some dinner and out of this chair..been a long day,

but a nice one..a dear friend phoned and just made me smile..

and I chatted to day with a dear friend in the UK that I havent

to for a few days, I havent been in the best of moods and I hate

when this GORGEOUS WEEBLE gets whiney.. and I have been

and I know it..but I am really trying hard to get past this and I will..

just take awhile..and Im grateful I still have friends that care about

me and worry when I get hurt..and I appreciate the TLC they give

me..means alot..But Im getting there.. sleep and out of this

chair! my butt is giving me orders again.. I need to listen and

say "nitey nite"... :-)
