~Fresh Air Again~ :-)

Beautiful day today with my door open again, letting in all

that fresh air and airing out this house.. The boys love it.
At times if a real loud truck goes by it scares them but

they like the air.. The sun comes in too which they LOVE

to lay in it... Donnie came by as he was running an errand

for the lady next door to him. He helps her out, even more

so now that her husband died. We talked about fixing this

front porch so I can go out there making the floor all one

level..how much wood it would take.. I know he can fix it..hes

very good at that kind of stuff. He remodeled almost the

whole farmhouse where he used to live...Hes a talented guy.

Well he would like for me to be able to get outside too. He

knows how badly I would love to live on the lake. The other

place that was for sale has already sold which I knew it would

being so cheap.

I sat in the doorway this morning with a cup of coffee and it

reminded me of all the mornings I had coffee out on my lanai.

I miss that.. I thought if I used my power chair I would be able

to do that if I got this porch fixed.. I couldn't go out there in this

manual, not carrying coffee.. I doubt the coffee would make

it or I would leave a trail behind me.. Going across this carpet

carrying anything is VERY hard to do.. I need both hands and

all the strength I have to roll across it.. And its harder once I
get into my bedroom..that's why I only go in and out of it once

a day and once a night.. that's it...

Donnie went to get the lawnmower part for his neighbor and is

going to check the cost for the wood for the porch.. He said it

would only take 2 sheets of 4 x 8 half inch plywood.. and some

other stuff for the brace underneath.. This little house could be

fixed up so easily and made adaptable.. But Its just not possible,

I just have to do only what is easy and feasable.. which isnt much.

The things I see in my minds eye to make this a nice house for me

wouldn't be that hard to do..but its that same problem with every

thing..MONEY...I keep saying "I need to win the lottery" but then I

don't remember to get a ticket !... cant win that way...Only way

you can win is to TRY :-) and that's concerning everything..

Ive been eating pretty light but havent had anything today.. A nice

juicy burger with sauteed onions sure sounds good..but... well I

don't know yet how good that would sit..and Im not taking any

chances.. I am so glad to be over what ever it was I had.. I was so

miserable I couldn't even explain it...Im feeling ALMOST back to

my totally GORGEOUS WEEBLE self :-) and I am GLAD...But I

do need food.. so, its time "Nitey Nite" :-)
