A Hawk..

I had to think of something to put ontop my jars

of pouporri... Dutch just wont stay out of them. I

got up this morning to a nice mess.. He had gotten

into the big jar, knocked the mirror off and ate

some of them. He made it to the edge of my desk

only to lean over and puke.. all down my monitor

AND all over my keyboard. :-( I was NOT pleased.

I now have placed a brass bowl over top of it and

if he can get into that I will be amazed... All that

stuff has been up there for over a year now and

Dutch decides after all this time hes going up

there.. I don't understand cats sometimes. :-)
The birds are back and there was a new one.. A

HAWK.. I have NO idea what kind, but I saw

this big bird swoop down to the bird feeder

and ALL the birds flew off.. I watched as it

kinda hid in the bushes then all of a sudden I

saw a bird fly off and this hawk was right on

it.. It went down to the ground and when he

landed I saw the bird escape.. The hawk then

went and sat up in the tree, you can see how

big it was...
I was glad to see the cardinal back, but I was

slow getting the camera up, but the bluejay
I did get a shot of him, I missed the wood

pecker too... :-(
Penny came today and we are all clean and she

made a pot of chili and I wish you could smell

it.. It smells great. This is a good day for it too.

I feel pretty good today, I should, I didn't do

anything all week end :-) Felt good too...

Time to post and try the chili...GORGEOUS
