~Furnace went Out~ :-(

Ive let the days slip by me again.. I'm getting so bad

at this...I will try to do better, its just that my life is

not the most active anymore that doesn't give me a

lot to write about...I guess my life is dull.. :-)

Although, Thursday night, my furnace quit. I went

out to the kitchen and it was like going outside! I

didn't pay attention as to how long it was off before

I realized it was bloody COLD! I could see my breath!

I called Carl, after I put on 2 sweaters and got a

blanket for over my stumps, and he came over...

Carl tried but hes not a furnace fixer.. He tried to

reach Joe (landlord) but he was in a meeting and

not reachable.. I called a local heating company,

named MANCHESTER, some woman came on the

phone, I told her what was wrong, that I was freezing,

and that I was in a wheelchair and this was NOT

good for me.. She politely told me . too bad, we cant

come over unless you get your landlords permission

for us to come over... ... I was SO mad.. I told her

Joe was unreachable and GUARANTEED her that

they would be paid, still no go.. She did NOT care

and refused to come for fear Joe would sue them.

WHAT A CROCK... I was furious....my blood pressure

went sky high I know it...

So, I called Carl again and he got in his truck and

went to where Joe was having a meeting.. Joe has

a cell but doesn't use it and no one knows the #..

sheesh.. why have it then.. So, Carl came over here

as soon as he got back, I told him what the woman

at Manchester said and he said "Don't worry, I

called another guy, hes on his way."

This guy and his wife came and in half an hour my

furnace was fixed and it was warm again.. It was

so cold in here the boys kept hiding to keep warm.

He did a good job and even changed the filter for

me. They offered me a baby kittie since they saw

my two and thought I needed another, till I told

them I have 7 outside too ! So, its fixed..I'm

warm and all is well..

So that was the excitement this week.. I guess

I do have some excitement :-) Penny made pastys

yesterday, 3 of them.. 2 are for my boy, hes coming

up tomorrow.. I ate one.. Penny is sure getting good

at making them.. :-) So, again my apologies for not

writing in awhile, but I'm ok, I'm still a most

GORGEOUS WEEBLE, keep well and God Bless..
