| Today is Veterans Day, that I think is a day that should be observed every day for what our dedicated soldiers are going through in that war.. I very seldom discuss my feelings about it as I tend to get a bit mouthy with my opinion..and sometimes that isnt good, since we all have different opinions about every thing.. its like religion and politics..Not a good subject for me either.. But I do think our soldiers are brave and courageous for what they are living in... I just wish they were out of there and home where they belong... The photos are of one of my uncles, my Uncle Telfer. I got to thinking and there were 4 of my grandmothers sons..that went to war at the same time.. My uncles..Telfer, David,Ernest and Gordon..The only one that didn't go was my Uncle Stanley and I believe they wouldn't let a 5th son go...that was what I was told. Thank God all 4 came home.. I looked for photos of my other uncles and I couldn't find any, I know there were some in my mothers photo albums but I had to give those to Gayle when she took everything out of the house before she sold it.. I wish I had some of the photos..I do have some, but I got those long ago..which I was glad I had the fore thought to do that..

I have been trying to arrange my house better. I have decided NO one will buy that recliner, so I am going to put it out on the front porch until I can find someone to give it to..I just have no use for it and the extra room it will give me will be really great. Just some re arranging of everything will make a big difference. I wish I had more storage space, its a shame I cant depend on my basement.. I wish it was nice and dry and usable, as big as it is.. Donnie said its a big basement, well, as much room as I have up here, only things down there were the furnace and hot water heater..re done into a sewing place for me would be so nice..I could have a lot of room down there..but its not dry and would need sealed..It could be done though... I mentioned I have a lot of photos..and every Sunday I always put a new one of me.. I took that photo .. long time ago. I had only JUST gotten Dutch, you can see how small he is.. I took that photo in November, the 13 it says, in 2003. That made him 3 months old. 4 years ago? no..then hes 4 and LB 5? I got LB the end of 2002, when I moved into the apartment that year in January .. well theyre older and Ive had them longer than I thought..That's Dutch cuz I didn't have a computer when LB was small.. I lose track..those 3 years. ive been saying they are 3 and 4.. they are 4 and 5, Im getting bad :-) I wont tell them let them think theyre younger.. :-)

Look closely at my left stump..you can see where there is still an infection there..that's where it was for over a year.. almost didn't make it through that.. I was telling a friend about that time, how horrendous the pain was and I would cry begging them to make it stop hurting..I would get so worked up and upset just thinking about the nurse coming and as the time clicked by and it got closer to her time to get there I was already in a state. I still have the syringes and the numbing medication, I remember those numbing shots..they hurt, but only for a 2nd..when she would put that needle into the middle of that open wound I knew it was going to hurt so bad, but for only a second..what was worse was really when it wore off and the pain started again...

I have to say all the terribly expensive things they used to heal that, nothing worked.. Julie, my nurse tried everything she could think of, all sorts of special things even some used for burn victims to help make them heal faster.. I still to this day do NOT heal fast at all..I am very very slow..and horribly prone to infection as it seems I carry staph..any sort of surgery or bodily invasion could and most times do end with a staph infection. I have to be very careful.. I have to pat myself on the back for the healing of that stump..I got so worn down and I hated my life..I cant stand when I feel that way, I fired everyone..and I proceeded to wash that stump gently with soap and water, I kept it dry, clean, and covered..and it healed... I think all those things Julie tried just were not needed at all..plain soap and water can do wonders, it worked for me after almost a year of fighting for that end to heal..

Well today was a quiet Sunday and that's nice ..I know tomorrow Penny will be here and I have been pretty neat and she wont be swamped with things to do. She does a good job and hopefully tomorrow we can think of a way to move some stuff around in my bedroom so maybe I can open my machine in there...I could bring up my portable from the basement but I would have to have a place to put it and I don't have anywhere , not so I could get at it.. She and I will have to plan our attack to get this done...

My cold or whatever that was has gotten better and I KNOW my monitor and keyboard are glad they arent getting sneezed on every 2 minutes.. I got tired of wiping them off, and I try to be careful. Im starved and tired..been a LONG quiet day and I need to get this GORGEOUS WEEBLE butt out of this chair.. I got in it at 5:45 this morning..its time to get out of it.. I have some good pumpkin pie in the fridge and Im going to get a piece of that and head into my bed and my tv..Its a good thing my TV is in there , then when I fall asleep watching it Im already on my bed..:-) Hey, theres a method to my madness :-) "nitey nite"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear ? love ya and THANKS!! :-) Always, Lois ****

Love the photo for Veterans day, our church had a special program for them this morning. My son Michael was able to carry one of the flag.
Our town put up flag along the highway that run through the town.So awesome to see.
Lois God bless you.

Hi, Honey,
Wow! A genuin war-time phot of a p53. I saw lots of them over here during the war and B17s and C47s, to name but a few.
How grand, to have pictures of family members who served in the war.
And, yes our guys fighting out East ARE very brave guys. Ours, in particular, are being let down by a load of total W-----s in Westminster. They say a country gets the politicians it deserves,
but I don't deserve this shower of s--t, and nor do our soldiers.
Enough of politics - thank you for the picture of that Gorgeous Weeble. Poor Honey, you sure had a tough time with that left stump. I am SO glad that it is all over now.
Take care, Honey. L.O.L. & G.B.H. from

I went to the produce stand and bought red peppers for 29 cents a libre (pound) I also bought some parmasan cheese at $5.00 a libre. Due to the deterioration of the dollar things from Europe are very expensive.
