~Leaf Droppin~
fast, I know mine is a sugar maple out by the garage, and that
over there I cant see the leaves to see what it is..Perhaps an
oak..Every tree's fall color is different that's why its such a
spectacular season, as if all the trees are in a contest to see
who can be the most vibrant..There is a road up North in the
UP, US 2, the road between Crystal Falls and Iron Mountain
this time of year is spectacular..well any where up there is a
gorgeous time of year..but fall is wonderful.. The white birch
trees turn such a bright yellow, there is a road that goes
around Fortune Lake that is lined with white birch, when the
leaves fall the ground turns gold with the color of the leaves,
and take their morning swim.. These 3 little sparrows I think,
sat for the longest time and werent even afraid of me when I
came up to the window..I think they are getting used to us..
That poor fence just looks awful..needs painted...

Penny put bread crumbs and seed out on those walking stones that
go from the back door to the driveway, they had a good time out
there this morning..I sat and watched them while I had a cup of coffee.
I used to do that when I had my lanai..I would take my coffee outside
and drink it while I admired all my flowers, and saw how happy the
birds and animals were..eating and drinking and bathing in the birdbath.
I think this is the cutest photo..This little girl..I think, she is
I think this is the cutest photo..This little girl..I think, she is
all indignant as she just took a bath and was trying to fluff
up and Dry off..This look is as tho saying "WHAT are YOU
at us... I say she, but have NO idea if its a male or female..I
would imagine there is a difference in colorings for them just
like in the other birds..The males are ususally so vibrant,,like
the bright red male cardinal..the female is not NEAR as
I was taking the photos of the others and its really hard
to see with that window as to what is really out there..I
happened to glance up and there he was, I quick looked
at the camera and kept snapping.. He didn't stay long..I
have NO idea if this is the male or female..
My house in Indiana I had a massive oak tree just outside
My house in Indiana I had a massive oak tree just outside
the back door that had a blue jay nest with babies in it.. My
cats would go out there and stalk around the tree.. the bird
would come flying 90 miles an hour out of that tree and dive
bomb that cat ~!~ the bird actually hit the cat a few times,
trying to dissuade him from climbing that tree..it worked..old
skeeter wasn't stupid.. he just kept his same slow pace and
kept walking past... The bird did the dive bombing looked
just like that one so that may be a female..I guess I need a
bird book.. The tree is just beautiful.. I wish I could get out
in that yard and just sit and watch the trees and birds and
take photos..
I don't know yet if this is good news or not..But I read the
paper last nite and the ad for the cottage on the lake is back
in the paper.. I have sent an urgent email to Heidi and I am going
to call Denise the lady that owns the house and find out what
happened.. Then I will call coa Monday and set up a ride with
Curtis to take me out there just so I can see the outside of the
house.. The owners both work so they cant get there during the
day so Heidi said last time that she would come and get me
in the evening to go and look when I can get inside.. Wouldn't
that be wonderful? its 2 bedrooms and its on a beautiful lake..
I could have company and it would be so nice to be able to have
a nice dinner and invite the kids... I hope this will work out...Im
sure gonna try..
Well today was a nice quiet Saturday, just taking what photos
I could.. Robert came yesterday and cut the grass outside and
Penny did the inside, we are all snug as bugs in a rug.. Speaking
of bugs, I believe we have solved the bugginess of these 2 cats..
I hate bugs.. so do they.. They scratched so bad sometimes when
they were on the bed with me they woke me up the bed was
shaking so bad.. Time for some fries and gravy tonite..I worked
hard this week and Im gonna treat my self to my most very best
GORGEOUS WEEBLE food.. I did good this week.. I made it
through it..and Im still ready to go on and still smiling..so that says
alot..Im ready to roll to my waiting fries..MMM..Life is good..
"nitey nite" :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks :-)
Always, Lois ****

Wow Lois you have all the very pretty tree there, no wonder I can't fine many here this year...awesome color just awesome color of the trees.
I sure hope you get that house if it is in good shape. make sure everything working right...make me wonder why the people didn't stay...some rent home people are always moving in and moving out in a very short time...something not working right for sure.
Bob said our home is 95% done, wow will be glad when it 100%...got some board on my bedroom window that need to be replaced and the back door facing needs some new board on it too.
Wonderful pictures you have taken Lois, keep them coming my friend.
God bless you with a new place that you will be able to get outside anytime you want too by yourself. May the sidewalk be wheelchair accessible too.

Hi, Honey,
Quite the bird photographer, aren't we. Well done!!
That Bluejay is spectacular. We don't have anything like that over here, though the cock Pheasants are quite pretty, though totally brainless. They seem to compete with each other for the privilege of getting blatted by the next passing car!!
I hope and pray that the house on the lake is the right one for you. It's about time things really started going your way.
Take care, my Gorgeous Weeble.
