Ive been in the dumps and moody lately all kinds of stress

points it seems..Small problems that are really nothing..just

get blown out of proportion and seem more than what they

are..I was sitting here yesterday and heard the mail man

slam down the lid on my mailbox..it hangs on the outside

of my door..scares me EVERY time even though I KNOW

its gonna happen every day..well if I get mail every day,

which I don't.. anyway..I opened the door..and sitting down

on the floor was a white box...inside the box was this little

bluebird of happiness..Isnt it just lovely? A dear cherished

friend sent it to me..I have it on my desk here so I can see

it all the time..

The verse up top is what is written inside the little card that

is hanging on the gold cord around its neck.. When the sun came

through the window yesterday afternoon for a few minutes it hit

that little bird and she just almost glowed..was wonderful..I love

it..and came at such a great time that I really needed it..I have

such wonderful friends..I really do and Lord, I am SO grateful

for them.. My little BlueBird of Happiness.. how wonderful...You

know who you are..and THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH..

What a day today, as its gone on its gotten progressively worse..

My Grand, Kelli, sent me a mail they had gotten off work early

because of the roads..Yesterday and today there were no lunch

deliveries..which Im glad I know my ramp outside has to be kinda

slippery. I thought about that yesterday when my sis was here..All

I would need is for her to fall on that ! Chris the lunch girl told me

its slippery and I told her to be VERY careful..with this ice..well If

someone took a digger on it up at the top they might end up out

in the street ! as icy as it is.. That wouldn't be good.. Visitor slides

down Ramp and gets run over by a semi..no..that would NOT be

good :-)

The lady from SS called just like they said and right on time too..

Exactly 930 my phone rang..she was very nice..and explained it

to me..that I had no choice..I gave her all the info about my ex's

and I think I was married to my 2nd hubby from 72or 3 to 89. She

said SS will start to pay part of my benefits then the balance I will

get from SSI..nothing will decrease, and possibly could increase..

Ive been so worried about this... a decrease I could NOT handle,

an INCREASE yes.. staying the same is fine too..it would sure

be nice to have more..but Im grateful for what I do have.. I can make

it..sometimes not easily..but I can do it.. Im relieved and glad that

is out of the way.. I got up at 330 this morning and that was the

VERY first thought on my mind..and I looked at the time to figure

out how long before they call..Im so glad THATS Over. Now.. On to

the NEXT stresser.. I don't know what that will be..

I take that back..yes I do.. I have to balance my checkbook.. LORDY

I HATE doing that.. I very seldom get it to and usually end up calling

the bank..If I have them balance for me..they charge 25.oo to do it..

I can.. just gives me fits sometimes.. I usually take their word for what

I have in it anyway.. Its never much, but the balance gets pretty low

sometimes. A friend asked me what I would do if I had 2000 dollars..

I would put 3/4ths of it in savings.. the other 500 I would put into my

checkbook ,, not spend it.. but just to see it there, knowing I wouldn't

have to worry about being overdrawn which I have NEVER been..

close, but that only counts in horseshoes.. but that's what I would do

with it. Save most..then if and when I do get that bigger and better

place I can make that move just that fast.. If I dont..well it can stay

there and just get interested :-)..

Well with no lunch delivered I have some canned ravioli ..beef ones

from Meijers..their brand..and they are double stuffed. I was really

surprised how good they are..even better than Chef Boy Ar Dee.

I don't care for their stuff that much..there is another brand called

Pino's that is VERY good..That's going to be my supper.. and I

am getting out of this chair for today..I did not see but I think 10

minutes of TV last nite..I woke up at 12 midnite to the TV on and

the lamp..I was the only thing that got shut off..now .. whats wrong

with THAT picture? :-) this GORGEOUS WEEBLE needs out of

this chair.."nitey nite" :-)
