~Great Lunch~

I just had a great lunch. Penny was here and she made some
spaghetti sauce, After she left I fixed some angel hair pasta,
put the sauce on them..and well.. it was GREAT. Now I am
really ready for a nap...I very seldom ate lunch when I worked
just for that reason, I ate I got tired..Then going back to sewing
or what ever my speed slowed down and THAT was NOT
acceptable at all.. I had a reputation to keep up as the fastest
and YES, the BEST sewer they had..There were some others
that were just as good..but on different types of machines. The
ones I ran I was good at it.. I learned how to do a good fast job.
Only thing I don't do Fast, is cook, well I don't Eat fast either...
Those are 2 of my slow things that I do.. Well no..when im sick,
like I have been , I have been VERY slow...at everything...

Penny went to look for a hanging basket for on my front porch,
and wind chimes.. The hanging baskets started at twenty dollars.
and no one has wind chimes.. not any store that Penny goes to
anyway... But to pay twenty dollars for a hanging basket is not
acceptable at all.. I could get the basket, dirt, and flowers I bet
for less than ten! So we may just do that.. I would like something
out there. She has been looking for Double Impatients.. and no
one has those either.. Some times Penny has a hard time to find
stuff and me, well, I havent been in a store in over a year and then
it was just a fast in and out, when I let my other care giver take me
to Wal Mart, over a year ago.. While I was in Keystone...I wouldn't
mind going and seeing what they have, just look around.. I have
threatened to do that and have Curtis take Penny and I up to the
Meijers store just down the road.. So I could see what new stuff
they have that I probly have NO idea they have.. Be interesting..
I might just do that... one of these days...

I havent heard from Donnie on the cost for material for my porch,
I may call tonite and see how much it will cost. I have had the door
open all day and this fresh air is wonderful.. but I know when it gets
really hot I will have to have my air conditioner put back into the
window.. Its not a big one and Donnie had no trouble taking it out,
main problem was the old worn out storm window they have on the
window.. Its a shame that they never took care of this little house..
Someone had to have cared, I can tell by the flowers and the
roses planted all around the house... they cared about the outside,
but not the inside.. Lots could be done to this place to make it a
really great house for 1 person...even someone in a wheel chair.
The house foundation being so high is what puts the difficulty on
the entrances... I think this house was built in the 40's.. Theres an
old coal entrance built into the basement wall down by my flower
bed just below the window...So just under the kitchen is where
the coal bin was...I remember when they delivered it to my house
when I was little, the sound of those little black nuggest flying down
that metal chute into the basement..dust everywhere..My dad
converted the coal bin room into a shower for himself, he enjoyed
that rather than a tub bath upstairs...

Well this snoozy feeling from eating all that spaghetti is getting the
best of me and I think I am just gonna go sit and look out the door
and listen to all the noisey trucks and cars going by.. There have
been a lot of bike riders I noticed..sure can tell the difference in
the Harleys..They have their own sound.. Time to watch the world
go by but first my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and Thanks !! :-)
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

    Hi, Honey,
Double Impatiens are quite expensive over here, when you can find them. They are hard to raise from seed - well, both kinds are. They sure are pretty, though, and worth having. Does Dutch like them for breakfast?? LOL ;o)
    Take care, Honey,
    Luv Ya,
    Raife

Saturday, I worked in the garden with one of the tenants I dug up the soil and he planted marigolds. I like to cook, and I like to cook pasta with vineger, oil cottage cheese and olives.
