~Donnie and the Pres~ :-)

Donnie on the left, white shirt...

It was nice having special company.. They have been
my friends for a very long time.. I havent seen them
in at least a year, so it was a nice visit.. They have a
family member that is quite ill and don't want to be
gone for any length of time or they would have stayed
longer... Its always enjoyable to talk over good times...

I got a call yesterday from the boy, Donnie.. He gave
me the URL to a site with the local news, for the 11th.
Was a picture there of Donnie with the President...
Obama went there to Monaco Coach to talk to everyone
and Donnie even got to shake his hand and talk to him
for a few minutes.. Donnie was most excited.. Needless
to say I sent the URL and photo to everyone :-) I told
him I was putting it here too...so if you want to read
the article you can.. theres video too...
Penny showed up today and she is feeling a lot better.
I had done a lot so there wasn't much for her to do...
Rebecca brought me some pots and pans so she had
to clean them up and of course do the floors which I
cant do either...Oh and dust.. some things I just cant
reach! It aint easy being short!... :-) She made a run
to the grocery store to get some more of those 3
musketeer mint candys... They are better than York
Peppermint Patties! The mint is creamier and just
so much better.. Penny got them for me to try. I like
Peppermints and usually she gets those tiny York
patties for me.. these Three Musketeer Mints
are a lot better !!

I have NO idea what lunch will be today.. I am not
very hungry but I HAVE to eat to take that pill... I
am just NOT a pill person.. I never remember.. I
keep them out on the table so that I see them when
ever I go into the kitchen, but I can STILL forget.
But I havta eat.. so ......

THAT means this GORGEOUS WEEBLE has to post
this and find food.. Don't forget though.. "I SHALL
Return!!" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you Friend..
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again....

meals on wheels in nyc gives you a monthly menu around the first of each month. Ethel, my 90 year old ex neighbor gets only 6 meals a week. They used to deliver 6 days a week - now they are down to 5 deliveries a week.

    Hi Mary,
I sure wish you had your own computer. I hope Patsy does ok.. Good to hear Bob is ok.

    Hiya Audrey!
So nice to hear from you !!!

    Hiya Momar,
We get 5 meals a week, nothing for the week ends.. But we do get what they call a supper sack.. Something light like a sandwich that we put together.. Last nite was potato salad and BLT's.. There suppers are better than the lunches!!!

So nice to hear from you!!
    Love N'Hugs,
    Always, Lois ****
