Carls tree is finally leafless.. see the hornets nest ?

I dunno if I like the beginning of the month.. Just means

its time to pay bills again... Ive been waiting for my gas

and electric to see if they have gone up at all..Which I

knew they had.. and I was right.. my electric has doubled

and my gas has tripled.. Ive had the furnace on for over

a month so I am hoping that this will be the highest of

my gas bills.. But if we get some seriously cold weather

I may have to turn the heat up a tad.. I have it on 66 now,

and I have a heavy sweater on though too... Its cheaper

to put a sweater on than turn up the heat :-)
I saw Joe and 2 other guys I didn't know, and Carl, put Joe's

pontoon back into the garage.. Sure sign that summer is over.

They had to do a lot of maneuvering to get that big thing in

that garage, but between the 4 of them they got it done :-)

Carl backed up the truck and the other 4 were navigators I

guess directing him. It was a tight squeeze, plus it didn't

totally fit as you see they couldn't close the door. Donnie

has a pontoon boat as well that he takes out every winter,

I don't know if he has taken his out of the lake yet or not..

He stores it at his ex brother in laws during the winter..

Donnies lake freezes over in the winter and lots of guys

ice fish on it.. Which I bet they do on this Palmer Lake

here, I don't know...
I had the best time this morning watching all the birds.

Since Penny restocked the ears of corn, one on the post

and one on the ground, and cleaned the birdbath, and

put more seed out, the birds have been out there all

morning, Its been great fun.. There were 4 bluejays at

one time, a woodpecker, cardinal, 4 doves and all those

other little brown guys.. The Jays and the woodpecker

fight over the ear of corn on the post.. The one on the

ground, they know its there, they have nothing to do

with it.. but fight over the other one.. Go figure... :-)

I did have a nice treat watching a NEW bird! I think

its a female goldfinch! It was out there for the longest

time.. I got lots of photos of it .. I dunno why I take

so many when all I do with them is put them here.. Id

like to find some place to send my bird photos to that

would maybe like to have them... Maybe the Audubon

society.. :-) My photos arent NEAR good enough for

them...But I do enjoy taking pictures of birds and

animals.. They are so animated and relaxed not posed

or staged like photos of people.. Where you tell them

"ok SMILE".. Well I do tell Dutch "Look at me" and he

does :-) he doesn't smile though :-)

Its a nice sunny day today and we 3 are enjoying the

sun shine..but, I havta eat lunch.. well I havta take my pill.

SO I havta EAT :-) I'm really not hungry, I had such

a nice dinner yesterday, that Cornish hen and dressing

was excellent. I still have some left so I may warm that

up. I'm not expecting any company so it will be a quiet

day.. I like those kinds.. I need calm after paying bills!

So.. that means this GORGEOUS WEEBLE needs to

post this, so I can get on with this day, but don't

forget "I SHALL Return!!" :-) I KNOW you're glad!
