~Yard Drama~ :-)

2 Squirrleys! :-) and the chase was on!
Drama in the yard this morning :-) 2 squirrels at
the same time.. The one in the birdbath ran that
one on the tree all the way up it and over to the
next one.. I watched as it ran across the street
over to the garden ladys house.. she has a huge
tree over there...The other came back down and
continued eating.. It was fun watching him defend
that birdbath.. He stays in it for almost an hour
munching at the corn and sunflower seeds in it..
I'm glad I have it for these critters :-) I hope
they know how much I enjoy them. :-)
Beans with bacon MMMM :-) some onion too :-)
There were 4 crows or black birds out there too,
but when that squirrel came up there.. well that
guy runs every one off.. The little birds and the
doves will come back but not go near the birdbath.
Its fun to watch how they react.. I can tell when
someone or something is close by, the birds scatter
and squirrely runs as fast as he can over to the
garage.. Usually when they do that its one of the
cats.. The orange cat that I belive belongs to the
gardenlady, came thru the yard yesterday and
this poor cat was limping.. I hate seeing that.. I
hope the gardenlady notices and sees whats wrong.
I would phone her and ask but I don't know her
by anything but the gardenlady and I gave her that
name so I don't think shes in the phone book! :-)
Not under that name anyway !! :-)
There is a photo of my Hawaiian sweet bread.. Its
SO good.. I used my bread maker. I love that thing.
It really makes wonderful bread.. I use box mixes,
but of course you can make bread from scratch too.
Mine has a timer on it... so I could put all the stuff
in it.. set the timer so that when I got up or got
home, if I went somewhere that is :-) it would be
done and warm by the time I got to it... Becky with
APS, years ago.. when I was in the apartment.. she
got it for me.. She was the best that has ever
worked for DHS.. she cared and really TRIED to
help everyone.. We are still friends today.. shes
retired from there now, and does a lot of work for
ARF and animal rights.. She has 3 dogs, or did, and
2 or 3 cats.. She asks me off and on if I want a
new kittie.. I'm so tempted to get a new baby...but
I dunno.. these 2 are handfuls, but a kittie.. I don't
think there anything much cuter.. I'm debating.. :-)

My pot of beans is about done and I have my bread..
So three guesses what this GORGEOUS WEEBLE
is gonna do now? :-) Yup.. EAT!! :-) Super bowl is
tomorrow.. I hope the Colts win.. Indiana you know..
I'm a Packer Backer first.. then I guess I have to
root for the Indiana team.. Although I like the
Saints uniforms better :-) I'm gonna watch it if
nothing else is on... I watched those grammys I think
it was.. awards thing for movie stars.. That young
woman Pinks.. that girl put on a show that was one
of the most amazing Ive ever seen.. Such a wonder
ful young talented beautiful girl.. Oprah interviewed
her yesterday.. If Pinks show is on you tube go look.
It was amazing..

Time to post and get on with today.. This GORGEOUS
WEEBLE hopes you have a great week end.. and
don't forget the 14th!! :-) AND.. I shall return!!! :-)

Always, Lois ****

God Bless You, is my prayer today,

I am making a white bean soup (Tuscan) I'll have it with Russian bread. If the Cold War would have been fought over who is the best bread baker - I think the russians would have won. I work in a Russian nabe and their good bread is in all the food stores.

    Hi Mary,
I hope Patsy is ok.. I have very uncontrollable BP.. I can tell when it goes up and something usually triggers it... Its nothing for mine to be 200/ 110.. been that high many times :-) but it goes back down ..
Sleep is good for you .. :-)

Good to hear from you! :-)
