~Good To Hear~

Strange lately, I've been hearing from some people that I havent heard from in a long long time, I'm glad to hear, its really nice.. I was upset before when they left, with no word.no bye,no reason... and I did NOT know what I had done that this happened.. It really DOES hurt alot.. specially if you care about them . And I do care about all my friends. Some different ways than others, but I care and I worry about them. I want them to be happy and if they cant be when they are in contact with me..well then to part ways some times is best.. but that 'bye' sure does help. To say hello once in awhile, there is nothing wrong with that at all. Lots of my friends know if they dont yell "HEY" every few weeks or days sometimes I DO get a bit pissy lol.. no- not really. I just worry. I think thats my middle name. I worry about everything. When someone says they have something to tell me I usually ask if its something I need to worry about. But, I was really GLAD to hear from them.. I was...kinda made my day.. I wasnt real happy with some of the news but it was good to chat again. And who knows they may get in touch again. Im always around. (aint that the truth.. I'm A round..lol) :-D Raelynn came today and we are squeakin again..She went to the store and got some more paper for my printer.. It works so good.. I have to read up on it.. I tried to read some last nite after I logged off here and well I made the mistake of laying on my bed to do it. AND fooey. A book will put me to sleep faster than the TV!! Ya, so I didn't get alot read.But what I do remember reading this baby can do alot.. I just wish I could figure out the negative thing and get some of these negatives printed or to mess with that old 8mm film..I have it on VCR but I would like it on cd and to take snapshots off it.. I know it can be done but I just dont think this machine can do it..I bet I find out tho.lol.. Raelynn said she got her new desk all put together, did it herself and its bigger than mine..I know that was a job..thank goodness Donnie put this together...I never could have done it.. well maybe- but sure wouldnt have been easy ..lol... probly taken me a year too!! Its been so hot here, in the 90's this AC just is working its patootie off. It just is NOT meant to cool 5 rooms..The cool just barely reaches back here..I need some of those clip on fans that I could use to draw the air back .. My poor electric bill..but I have NO choice if I dont keep a little cool I just cannot breathe at all..The past few hot days like this, I turn it on a lower cool but keep it running and hope the thermostat works ok in it.. Chris, the APT manager says mine is the best in the building..well I feel sorry for those other people that live here then. I bet they have NO cool at all...Mine barely works. Chris said we are lucky to have them anyway as when they built these they didnt but some nice person donated them to the building..I am sure glad.. We have a nice community room down the hall from me where anyone that lives here can use it for a party or what ever..has huge table and a kitchen area..2 couches..it used to have a computer and a televison.. well they both got stolen, and the couch got cut up with a knife and some one even tried to burn it down..Joys of apartment living.. That just shows no respect or any kind of gratefulness..Maybe those that felt they had to steal the things needed them more than we did here.. but to destroy the couch and try to burn it up? uncalled for.. Sometimes they want these apartments rented out so bad they dont do real good checks on the ones they rent to. A while back they rented the apt across the hall from me and HOLY CRAP.. I never heard people argue and scream so bad in all my life..Turned out it was a brother and sister lived there..So they didnt evict them just gave the brother his own apartment so now we get to listen to them scream at each other as they go from his to her apartment.. They should screen better and dont..There is a waiting list to get in these as they really are the nicest HUD housing in the area..the best kept ..and not 100 of them here.. The guy next door, well one of these days,, I am going to have to tell him myself about that stereo..Apparently Chris is NOT going to..I called the office 4 times last week and got not that first reply.. Good management..Says in our lease hes only here on a part time basis.. sheesh... Was funny Raelynn brought me my lunch from COA..she says "Lois.. look at this..what the HELL is it???" I looked..Laughed..and honestly? I had to look at the printed menu to be able to say what it was.. It was chicken and biscuit..well I mean..ive seen that before and it looked good..this? well I told her.."Looks like its already been eaten, THROW it away".. She went to KFC (kentucky fried chicken) and they have these new Bowls..has mashed potatoes, corn, chicken pieces, and gravy all over it.. You can get cheese..but I dont.. i get double gravy of course :-)..well its really good..but it has to have double gravy and its JUST enough..could use a bit more but its ok..Its really good and I guess if you like cheese..its good too.. I like cheese..but my stomach doesnt and I have to make sure if I absolutely HAVE To eat cheese its gonna be some really good Amish cheese...lol..and it has to be a day when I am not real busy..know what I mean? lol... Well I have a letter to write to my cousin June..I want to see if she will send me the addys of the family in England and also my cousin Nancys addy and phone number...Plus i did a couple old photos for her as well.. I know she will like them.. its of her and her family..She lost her husband in 89.. alot of my family died that year..2 uncles..1 cousins..and 1 aunt.. and of course my dad... was not a good year..Its time to click on that line down there that says PUBLISH..and close this for another day, get a soda and maybe some crackers might be good, I love Ritz to BiTz nitey nite :-) Y'all have a good one Y'hear?
