~I DID See Some TV~ :-)

Was a cloudy day today, but warm.. I woke up feeling pretty

good again.Only woke up once last nite and that was because
I had to change positions as my back and hip again just made

my right stump ache so bad.. I found a good spot and I did

go back to sleep which many times ive not been able to and

then just get up, I like when I can sleep at least till 6 or so. I

don't remember what I watched on tv.I do know I watched

a special for about Elvis..That man could sing..I think he

was one of the greatest singers ever. So sad to have watched

his life to lose him so young. So many loved him..yet these

celebrities feel so alone..no one they can trust, that love

them for them.a person. Like many amputees feel-that they
are seen by some as mutant almost and then by others as
objects to be controlled.or provide them with the things they
feel they need to feed their needs. then by yet others- that
just love them, understand or try to understand they are
people and that they have such a hard way to go and
appreciate what they are going through, and give them the
respect they deserve for trying..


Its such a 2 way street..there are so many amputees.. some
I know that are playing games, dishonest.. lie... using others

to more or less feed off, ask for money. I, myself cant do that.

all these that do or are for sale as I put it. make it so hard for
the ones that are honest and independent and are trying to
make it on their own, I guess they have their reasons to
justify what they do.. I only do what I think is right.. some
things that I read or hear about however makes me some
times wish I wasn't in this category of amputee though, with
what I know some of the others do..But ..there is not a thing
I can do about it..Im stuck in this category-but my main one
is HUMAN, perhaps im too old fashioned and the morals my
parents instilled in me have stuck with me, and they taught
me to respect myself, and others and I do. I liked who I was
and now am, this is me- a GORGEOUS WEEBLE :-) you
knew I was gonna put that there I dont lie.. :-)
about that especially ! :-D

My boy phoned later last nite and hes had surgery today at
1:30, Ive not heard yet as I imagine by the time they did all
they had to do and they get home- will be later..I have NO
idea how long this will take. They will be doing a skin graft,
taking it from his thigh. grafting it to his ankle..over a 3 inch
square spot..Donnie said that the surgeon said this would be
the only way to get it to heal, now the biggie is to keep this
kid down for awhile..he said hes gonna go to work tomorrow.
The only way to stop him I think is to wait for him to fall
asleep tonite and then Dawn tie him to the bed till Monday
:-) hes not one to be inactive and hes not missed a day of
work in the years hes been at Monaco..hes a dedicated
employee.. besides the fact he needs to stay active.. I hope
he takes the rest of the week off though ..it would be a smart
thing to do..but well cant tell kids nuthin now days :-)

Ive been eyeing up ways to redo and move stuff around in
my bedroom to give me more room and try to make a spot
for me to use my sewing machine.. Id like to make some
curtains for in there and I would like to make some new
skirts..but then if made any clothes my poor closets would
be even more jammed up..They are not very big at all .not
much wider than the door itself..which isnt big..that's why I
keep some in the bathroom closet. I get dressed while I sit on
the potty .. its a lot easier for me than to get dressed on my
bed. since I don't wear anything but skirts its easy to slip over
my head, down..and on.. then I just pull my tops over my
head . I push my chair back a bit so my skirt falls between the
2 and then I reach back and slide back into my chair..well I
do lift up or my skirt will wrinkle and I cant stand wrinkles
they just eat my lunch. But that's where I get dressed. I guess
if I did wear pants it would be better to put them on laying on
the bed.. Ive tried and to get pants pulled up I had to roll from
side to side..and yes..put the things over my fat butt and then
up;.. then roll to the other side then pull up on that side, then
lay flat and see if they were up ok. then when I back into my
chair..if I didn't lift up well I pulled them right back down. I
prefer skirts.. theyre easier to put on and I love to look nice
I guess dress up..I have since I was a tiny girl..loved to play
"dress up" :-) I havent changed..And I like silk..its so much
easier to move in..slippery on the nylon cover on my cushion
why I almost slide out of this chair at times..:-)

Its slidin' time again, right on to my bed. Ive been up all day

since about 6.time to watch TV . I think my show is on tonite

that I like.I used to watch Lost but I got lost watching it.

I totally Lost the whole story idea.. I have NO idea what is

going on there..with the track record Ive had lately of watchin

TV I don't see a lot. there are eye shut buttons all over that

clicker of mine lol.. Im gonna eat that banana a day I said

I would and maybe that is what does it..could be Dutch tho.

when he runs across and hits that clicker. could be him

shuttin me down :-) Time to say "Nitey Nite" :-)
