~Raging Headache~

I woke this morning at 4:30 with the most raging headache I
have had in a long time. My hip woke me first off, I had to move.

it hurt so bad..It felt like the leg bone was twisted in the

socket and I HAD to find a comfortable way to lay, the bone

felt like it was totally twisted and turned in side the hip socket.

my foot felt like it was attached backward and it was really

sore.. It just amazed me that even though I cover the ends and

rub my stump , my head still says " Its THERE!" The longer

I laid there the more I realized I had THE most awful headache

Ive had in awhile.. I got up of course and that headache stayed

with me most of the day.. It did ease up when I put my drops,

well, POKED my drops into my eyes..That seemed to lessen

it a bit. I am so amazed that there is nothing that can help me

put the drops in .. Just seems so weird.. I will ask my Dr when I

have to go next week. I have my appt on the 20th.

Ive been falling asleep watching TV and sleep in some of the

most uncomfy positons as I just cant help it..my eyes slam

shut and its all over lol ,. its lights out for me.. I crawled up

on the bed last nite and started watching that ugly Donald

Trump..and I made it almost the end..but I fell asleep before

I heard him say "your fired" :-) so I have no idea who lost..

I have to say some of the candidates hes picked to test,

well, I don't think I would hire them my self.. :-) all they did

was argue and cut each other apart to prove they were better.
Competition is good ..but when its a team..not just one can

be the winner.. at the end of it yes. Well its his show and

his company and I guess he wouldn't have gotten as far as

he has not knowing what hes doing..but then he has enough

money to hire someone to think for him.. I watch these shows

and how much you know they cost to produce, and cant help

but think how much all that money could do to help people

that really need it..like our boys that are coming back and

need so much help..I wish I could help them..

Penny put the curtain rod back up today for me.. I told her that

the boy did it, she believed me ..but she knows Dutch..she

has NO choice but to play with him and LB..Lori from Keystone

came by today, shes so nice..and a tiny little blonde.. so pretty.

I am so impressed with the outreach program they have. She

is so helpful..she said if I have any kind of problem..or if there

is anything I need she will help me.. Shes looking into trying

to get a small freezer that I can keep food in ..the little one

that is In my little refrigerator only has enough room for an

ice tray and a package of hot dogs..Its not big at all.. I told

her of the couple I had seen online that I thought would be so

nice for me..one was only 3 CU and the other 5..just nice size

for me.. Ive started saving for one and if she can find a way

to help me maybe it wont be long before I have one.. She is

concerned that I have not heard anything about my chair tho.

I told her I am just taking a break..and letting them get their

stuff done.. It wasn't over.. I'm just letting them THINK I have

stopped ragging them..They don't KNOW me :-) it aint over.

this is just the EYE of the storm , it ..well I will hit again.. I

hope I don't have to..but well, you never know.. I cant force it

now anyway or that storm is gonna hit me and I want out of

the way. :-)

My boy got burnt. Quite seriously at work, Donnie. I phoned

him yesterday to remind them of the time change and he told

me he was welding at work Friday and a cherry? well that fire

spark hit his pants, they went up in flames..and the spark fell

into his boot and burned his ankle to 3rd degree burns.. It

is quite seriously burnt.. He phoned a while ago and he had a

Dr appt. to day and was informed he may have to have surgery

and a skin graft as it is burnt down to the ankle bone and they

think it will be the only way to get it to heal..He was describing

how the nurse was cleaning it..debrasing it..and how badly it

hurt that he had to make the nurse stop.. I told him I knew just

how he felt..as I had the same thing with my left stump when

they were trying to get it to heal..and would steady try to clean

it..finally they agreed to give me novocaine to numb it before

they would touch it.. so I told him I REALLY knew how painful

it was...and I urged him to be very careful. He has an appt

tomorrow with another Dr and will call and let me know..He

still has NOT stopped working though and went right back to

work..He just is not a sitter..this kid is like that energizer bunny

he just keeps on ticking.. I told him he had better phone me as

soon as he leaves the drs too.. he will he knows I worry..

I had a great sandwhich for lunch today, Penny went to Arby's

and I had a Reuben..corned beef and cheese and sauerkraut

and on homemade marble rye bread..it is so good.. I sure

like it ..so tasty and that bread is great.. The sandwiches are

so big I cant eat the whole thing at once..I ate half at lunch and

will have the other after I post this.. She did get me some nice

sugar cookies too. I don't really eat a lot of sweets..I cant

afford to gain too much weight I have enough of a problem

draggin around what I have.. :-) I was explaining that to Lori

today about just how hard it is to get into my chair..that I don't

use my board in here. I just back up and lift and pull myself

into my chair and showed her how I have to reach back and

pull myself..she sat for a minute and said that has to be hard..

and then even said she realized how hard it would even be

to sit up if I had nothing to grab hold of..and that's true..by

the time I struggle to sit up.turn , turn , turn, turn, then back up

and have to lift UP so my clothes don't pull off Its NOT easy.

She said like I have..until you have lived it you don't really

know what its like and just how hard it really is..

I know how hard its gonna be for me to go out to that kitchen

and get one of those cookies too .:-) no bad part of that is ,

its TOO easy to get to those cookies :-) Ive been eating my

banana a day so Im hoping it will help I wonder how long I

have to do that? the Dr didn't say..well I can find that out on the

20th when I go.. I havent decided if I am going to ask for a new

bed or not.. I don't know..I will see after I get there ..I still don't

know why I have to go to see her about my pills.. im curious..

but I know I need a cookie and I need to say "Nitey Nite" :-)
