~Northern Lights~

I got this photo sent to me in an email..and it is just beautiful.

Its of the Northern Lights or the Aurora Borealis. If you have

never seen them in person..its hard to describe. The sky is

lit up with the rays, and in a photo they are stationery and

not moving..to see them yourself..they are moving and almost

dancing across the sky. The colors change and they just

light up everything. Its something truly amazing and just the

most beautiful things you could ever see. The farther North

you live the more and better you see them.. In Upper Michigan

they can be seen very easily.

My ex husband, David, and I moved up to the UP to sort of help

my mother out after my Dad passed away. She was having a

very hard time and we decided to move there. One night after

supper David ran to the store to get I don't remember what, but

when he came back he was very upset.. I had heard the truck

sort of skid to a stop outside and the loud slam of the door, I

was curious as to what happened and started to walk towards

the door to see what was wrong. As I got almost to the door,

it flew open almost slamming against the wall, and David was

all upset, which instantly scared me.. I asked what was wrong!.

David grabbed each of my arms with his hands and sort of

pushed me back towards a chair.. he said."something is

really seriously wrong outside, I think a bomb has gone off

pretty close to us, something is wrong, the clouds and the

bomb have lit up the sky~~!!!...He was scared! I looked at

him..and sort of pushed him aside and proceeded to go

out and look.. I opened the other door and looked at the

sky, and what you see in that top photo is what I saw, of

course the teepees were not in the yard :-) but the sky was

lit up just like that.. David had never seen the Northern

Lights before and he had NO idea of what those lights were,

all he could think of was that a bomb had exploded .. :-) I

explained to him what they were and they are seen a lot up

in the UP and seen even better the farther north you go. He

was amazed at how pretty they were once he calmed down

and got his heart to beating at a normal pace again..Scared

him really bad.

David said he had come out of the store and went to get into

the truck and looked up and saw those lights and didn't know

what to do..hide under the truck or hurry home or what..He

decided he better get home in case I hadnt seen that and I

needed to hide too.. All the way home he couldn't figure out

why no one else seemed in a hurry or were rushing to go..

it was still the same normal slow speed for a small town and

he was totally confused.. When he pulled into the yard, he

hit the ground running to hurry up and get into the house before

the fall out got to us.. This poor man was really scared.. he had

no idea what it was or why the sky would be lit up like that. I

had seen them many many times..and it is really awesome how

beautiful they really are.. We both laughed at this one. When

we told my mom about this she laughed so hard and said that

is the first reaction lots of people have that have never heard

of it before..Its an amazing site..truly beautiful...

My Dolly, Kelli, my honeygirl, sent an email to me..she is so cute.

Her father and I had argued on how old she will be the 21st.. I said

23, Donald said 22. A father doesn't know how old his only child is.

that's pathetic..Kelli says cuz he doesn't wanna be OLD.. lol.. Kelli

offered to come over, her and Jorge, to cut the grass and to help

me move the stuff around in my bedroom.. Shes such a good kid.

She is still very close to me and my ex , whom she calls PaPa...

She goes and visits him and they are very close.. Willie was my 2nd

husband and he and I babysat Kelli every day for 4 years..till he

and I got a divorce and I moved away..well I moved away before the

divorce.. I thought that was really sweet of her, specially since she

is working 2 jobs..

I got my bedroom put back in order last nite and it took me for

ever to drag those pillows and blankets etc and make that bed

back up..On Monday Penny will have to tuck them in under on

the other side.. I think maybe she and I can move that stuff in

there if I put my bed where it is but on the front wall not the side

one where it is now..that may help..I don't know..but If it will go

that way I should be able to get into my closet ok.. I wished

that bedroom had more than ONE outlet..I am just amazed at

that since Donnie said this house had been rewired.. I was

even more tired by the time I got all that done..and I know I did

not see one thing, that I remember, on TV I laid back and I was

out light a light.. I slept late too.. I didn't roll out of bed till 9:30..

I havent slept that late in ages ...I don't know where this day has

gone already though.. seems like it should only be noon and

its already after 5..

Im going to splurge tonite and make my very best favorite food.

I know you don't remember..French Fries and Gravy.. I havent

had that in ages and I love that stuff.. I figure I been good this

week and I deserve a treat..only bad ive been is I havent done

my checkbook yet..but well I still was good and I deserve a nice

treat.. and my favorite food is the best treat I can get..well at

this day and time thats the best treat I can get, I can think of

some other nice rewards and treats I would like for being good.

Fries and gravy are the best I can do now though..Im happy,

so that's all that matters I guess as long as I have some happy,

don't matter where it comes from.. "nitey Nite".. :-)
