~Cleaned Again~

Penny came today and brought me a rose bush.. Its a

carpet rose..They are very pretty. I don't know to keep it

in the pot or to plant it...Penny thinks she may have a big

pot for it, shes going to look.. We did notice today that

there are hooks in the corners of the porch..that will be

nice for a hanging plant, that way the boys cant get at it

if they go out there..When that thing is kittie proofed then

they can go out...I think they will really like it ..probably be

scared at first with all the noise and cars etc..I think it will

be most interesting to them. Penny brought this carpet

spot cleaner machine..like a very small vacuum cleaner..

put liquid in it and it scrubs stains out of carpet..Dutch has

left some spots on this carpet that we had a heck of a

time getting them out..so we are glad this machine did

the trick..the carpet looks good now..

I logged off my computer last nite and then laid on my bed and

watched TV like I do every nite.. I got up to potty about 2 and

as I was scooting across the potty to sit on it..I heard this noise

of like a KER PLOP! like something hitting water.. I KNEW the

second I heard that noise what I had done.. I had the remote in

my lap..and when I scooted around and got on my chair..my

remote got hemmed up in my skirt and I carried it with me to

the bathroom.. I reached down and grabbed it all dripping wet,

and placed it on the back of the potty. I was VERY grateful that

I heard it and that it fell in BEFORE I did anything.. THAT was

a blessing..that could have been very .... ugly... :-) I took it

back into the bedroom after I dried it off and let the water drip

out of it..and thought I had better make sure that it worked and

I could shut off the TV first..I would hate to get up on my bed

and realize I had to go back over to the TV to shut it off ..Good

thing too ..cuz that remote did NOT work..

I called Comcast today and told them that my clicker..ok remote

did not work anymore..that I needed a new one.. He made me

go by the TV and try it and put in new batteries the whole 9 yards

and it still did NOT work..I knew it wouldn't it got soaked..So told

him " nope, it does NOT work" so Penny went down to the office

and traded it in and got a new one..even came with batteries!!

I was surprised..and really glad I got it fixed this fast.. Be heck of

a note to have to go back over to the TV to shut it off its on the

other side of the room from my bed.. that would not be fun...

Carla from the COA came today for her 6 month check up I think..

been awhile since ive seen her..shes really nice and very helpful

too..Of course the boys were all over her and she is another one

that likes animals and doesn't mind Dutch walking all over her

papers and up in her face. She gave me some paper work on

the trips etc that the coa takes..and she told me the free food

boxes are now given out on wed..where before it was Tuesday.

She said a new lady has taken it over and is really doing a good

job..I have to requalify to be able to get the boxes again, and I

gladly will they have that good cheese.. its all staples..like can

veggies and fruit..rice, beans.. saves alot..and I sure am glad

to have it back..Since its on wed. now Penny can go and get

it for me..

That person, John from the wheel chair place called and I don't

know about that man..but he is just not right..He asked if he

could come by tomorrow and measure the height of my chair.

This one Im in...this is a standard height chair..I don't understand

his thinking at all.. I was so tempted to tell him to just forget

about this chair that I did NOT want it.. I don't know if I can do

this all over again.. This man is about the worst I have ever

run into.. He asked if I would like some other man to handle

this and I told him I was already informed that HE was the

only one could do it..he then paused and kinda hummed,

then said.."yes, that's right" I asked WHY did he say that then?

I think I am going to forget this chair for now.. I may call my

insurance and talk to Deborah again..see what she says.. I

still havent heard anything more about them fixing my floor

in here either I may have to send Julia an email, find out just

what the hold up is..

I know if I don't eat something I wont hold up either.. I had a

burger for lunch and my favorite icee.. I love these things..

and the one today was cherry.. very good.. I am hungry tho

and I think I may make a baked potato sounds good to me..

and its fast and easy too..Been a long day and Im tired...
