~Camera Fun Day~ :-D

I played with this new camera all day. I copied the manual and
looked it over and I am really amazed at what this little camera
will do..And its no bigger than a cigarette pack, the unfiltered
ones, its that small..The card, was extra, and it is no bigger
than a postage stamp. It didn't come with the camera it had to
be gotten separately. But it goes in the same slot as the two
batteries, said it came with them but it didnt..which I have to
keep AA ones all the time as that's what my mouse takes and
the TV clicker. I got it fired up and that photo of Dutch of course
is the first one I took with it..LB had been up there but he got
down by the time I got set up. Hes not a camera buff like the
boy is..I hate that bloody screen!!!!
I got an email this morning from "my Dear friend" that sent the
camera to me and he requested that I say this instead of what
I put so I told him I would include it in tonites post..his words
were to put " this elderly Polack in Illinois, that is mad for my
golden body".. so there you have it..Hes NOT mad though..
hes very sweet and got tired of me whining about my other
camera and knew I really wanted one..and I did..I had more
fun today .. I was worried at first that the card wouldn't fit into
my 3/1 .. and it did..I bet there are 4 or 5 kinds it has slots for
down on the front left of it.. Its so easy to do. Well if I can do
it..anyone should be able to..Its a lot like my other camera
though as far as how to operate it, the card and all..
The photos are the first ones I took that 2nd one is looking
out my kitchen window to the left.down in the lower left
corner you can see the edge of the flower garden that is
down there..The stones go up to the back door which is to
the right of the window..The one there is out the kitchen
window looking right, which is east. you can see the bricks
for the path from the back door to the garage door.. It was
a gloomy kinda day today and I didn't care I wanted to take
photos anyway.. We had a LOUD storm last nite...Oh ..do
notice the garbage can lid? it IS on :-)
Follow the fence to the top of the picture and in the corner
up there you can see that tree and on the sides are the
lilac bushes..they are very small yet I don't think they are
but a few years old..Or maybe are mini lilacs? I dunno,
but they are blooming..You can see how the fence has a
bow in the middle where it is NOT going in a straight
line..almost make you dizzy.. The fence is not new and I
think it needs painted or treated if they are going to keep
it..This photo is out of the bathroom window looking east
Ive never seen the people next door there but I see they
have a nice deck, at the end of the fence you can see a
part of it..very nice and not high up either..
To the right are houses but right at the very right where
the back of that truck is where that auto repair parts
place is. That truck going down the road is a little smaller
than some of the semi's that fly down that road out there.
It is a constant stream all day and even at night..Not as
much at night but they still are on the road..Most towns
have truck routes and that street out there is the one that
goes thru here..
That photo is looking to the left out of the bathroom window.
Looking north. The yard looks so nice and green.. I took
these 5 photos and each photo was over 1 MB and I had
to resize them .. I know I can do that with the camera too but
I havent read that part yet...I will tomorrow.. But this is so fun
and I am having a good time.. I told Penny that Friday she
can go outside and take photos of the flowers etc out there.
She got another client and she is so happy, I am too she
was hoping she would get another..The good part is they
want her to come in the afternoon, 3 days a week..which is
just right since she comes here in the morning 3 days a
week and they only live a ways down the street..Im glad for
her..She tries very hard and is so nice and never hesitates
to do anything.. I wish they gave her a gas allowance, I try
to not have her run too many errands and use her gas I do
give her a small gas allowance which she refuses but I make
her take it..or else I buy her lunch..

Anyway Thank you to the "ELDERLY" Polack in Illinois for
my wonderful camera..and I am going to go and eat some
late lunch.. I was too busy to eat..47 pages of the manual
I had to print out :-) Time for food, time for TV and time
to use my GORGEOUS WEEBLE words.."Nitey Nite"

Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? love ya..thanks!!!!! :-)
Always, Lois****

God Bless you is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe
until I write again..

    Hi there Lois
Nice photos! Something wonderful happened here - I have 2 new kittens!! My son has named them Willow and Skittles. Willow is a ginger & white female 12 weeks old and Skittles is a black & white male aged 10 weeks. They come from a rescue place. I will take some photos of them tomorrow and email them to you.
I have just attended my first Parish Council meeting having been elected on May 3rd. It was very interesting!
Keep reading the manual and don't drop this one!! lol
