~I Got The Call ~

My rose outside is just lovely, I am really enjoying these rose bushes
so much.. The wonderful gardener that did all this I am very glad they
did.. I wish they knew how much I am enjoying all of them.. My
tomato plants have 14 tomatoes on them and they are just not getting
bigger, I hope its a while until first frost, then they still might have a
chance to get a little bigger then they would be good for frying, the size
they are now, theyre just too small...
While I was taking these photos of my roses I sat for a short

while looking out at the yard, its so big and nice..Lots of room

for a pool and even a wonderful Lanai..as good as flowers

grow here I bet it would be wonderful..Next summer If I am

still here there will be morning glories on that fence, and I know

they will cover it..that will be really pretty... I sat and watched this

big tree by the driveway and saw this HUGE BLACK squirrel

out there..he was beautiful..his tail was so long and all fluffy, the

way he was twitching it around and flashing it I think he knew

he had a nice tail.. He hopped and jumped around having a good

time..He would run up the tree then the next second down he

would run and hop up and down going across the wet grass... I

will try to get him some corn and nuts maybe to help him stock up

for the winter, I know there is a red one out there..we have quite

a little squirrel community out here..Maybe if I keep them here and

happy they wont go and Bug the neighbors that don't care for them

too much... Some are real pests and get into and eat all the birds

food.. Maybe if I get some corn, Im sure Donnie knows some one

that has some I can get..

I guess sending a mail to DaddyKen did some good..Ken phoned

today and said "I tried to call 3 or 4 times Wednesday to tell you I

wasn't coming, but no one answered".. NOW , EVERYONE knows,

Lois doesn't go out..and if she doesn't answer her phone by the 7th

or 9th ring..well something is wrong...I am always home...He sounded

awful..said he had been seriously ill , over 103 temperature..and was

right in bed...He asked if he could stop by today and I told him if he

isnt sure hes over that crap hes got to stay away, I cant afford to get

that..It would knock my stuff right in the bed...No I don't need that.. Ken

said he would call Monday and see about coming over then..He did

acknowledge the photo I included that showed that blue tarp out in

the garage.. and said someone would be over to get it out of there. I

wont know till Monday if they do or not I cant see in there..Penny will

tell me..

I made some chicken today that I want you to know was THE BEST!.

I had some chicken filets from that angel food ministry in the freezer

and I took out quite a few of them,, browned them slowly with some

onion slices and then put a can of tomatoes , diced, and a small

can of tomato juice , spices too..basil, bayleaf, S & P, and I let that

simmer for over an hour..It was SO GOOD! I nuked a potato and

sort of mashed it up and put the onion and tomatoes over them -

well, I had a GOOD dinner today..too good- I almost took another

nap and would have posted late again today, like I did yesterday!

I had put the bowl on the table, empty, and I watched as Dutch got

up by it to see if he would eat it..Well I don't really have to wash the

dish he licked it so clean.!..So that shows me , he IS a good judge,

and knows good food...

I talked to the boy today and poor Donnie, hes lucky he only has 3

girls...if he had more kids he would run him self ragged..It seems

everyone is moving..Kelli is into her new house, Amber and Nicky

are moving into her old place...and guess who is doing all the

hauling , I told him that's what he gets for being the only one with a

truck and a trailer..Kelli is almost all moved and I don't think Nikki

really has a lot its mostly the kids things..as she just had the baby

in June, and Cameron is 2 now.. Donald stays busy, 3 girls and

3 grands soon he will be grandpa to 4.. He will stay busy for sure!

He says the only way he can NOT do anything all week end is to

take off and go somewhere, I told him to just Lie, say hes going

and don't leave home...Everyone will think hes gone, and he can

enjoy his house and lake..he said hes not been fishing in 2

months..and he lives on one of the best fishing lakes in St. Joe

County.. Poor guy.. That's what he gets too for not knowing how

to say "NO"..hes just too nice a guy and cant refuse anyone any

kind of help and Dawn is just the same way...shes a sweetie...

Well.. Its time for a light supper and then I am going to watch

some tv..I did watch that survivor China, and I mean that poor

woman on there was nothing but skin and bone..I couldn't stand

watching her..I don't know what she was trying to prove, I guess

that super skinny anorexic women can survive in China.. its

amazing what some people will do for money..guess that's why

Im poor...:-) I wouldn't do what they do for any amount I don't

think, specially stay on a island full of snakes! no way..nope..

they can put them in the same place with carrots... I do NOT

like snakes, worms, night crawlers, none of that kind of thing..

I love the outdoors but I do have a limit .. and my limit for

being in this chair is up..I got in it at 5:23 this morning according

to my clock..so its time to get out of it, my butt and me are

BOTH tired..."Nitey Nite"
