~Accidents , Accidents~

Last nite after I posted the blog..I was sitting here at my

desk and I had a Icee that Penny had gotten me that I had

just taken out of the freezer..It was slush.. Well..all of a

sudden Dutch comes sliding across it and lands in my lap,

I see my SUPER LARGE Icee fall over and as I try to grab

it going over the top of Dutch it falls on its side..I grabbed my

keyboard and mouse..threw them over on the couch..while I

tried to grab some napkins I always keep in here.. I had

lime green Icee all over ME..my chair..the desk..and even

Dutch was wet.. Do you know what a mess that was to

clean up? I have a green puddle spot on the carpet.. :-(
This icee was Frozen slush..and COLD..It hit my stumps and

it was like I was hit with an electrical shock.. I had this stuff

going every where..the cats RAN..I screamed so loud.. I yelled

at Dutch so bad.. I felt so guilty ..he didn't do it on purpose.was

an accident..and really my own fault.. I put it there.. knowing he

jumps up on the desk like he does..they both do.. I did get so

mad tho.. I really yelled at him..told him all kinds of ugly stuff,

that he was a bad kittie and he wasn't allowed on my desk any

more.. He ran and peeked around the doorway..so pitiful looking.

Which made me feel worse..I did apologize but what a MESS!!!

LB he ran and he hadnt done anything..He hid under the lamp ..

That made me laugh.. That's the hiding spot :-) hes NOT happy

either.. I KNOW what hes thinking.."THAT DAMN KID, ALWAYS

In CRAP!" hes so mad.. I love this photo..its so fun here..:-)

I grabbed the garbage can and tried to scoop and scrape all

the lcee off the desk into it..If you could see how much stuff I

have on my desk you would know.. Wiping and washing off

all my pencils and stuff I have up here was a major time

consuming thing, had to be washed or would be sticky..but

washing still left sticky spots sadly, I mainly was worried about

my keyboard..and of course my computer and monitor..My

first thought.. "PROTECT THE COMPUTER" then I thought

about my keyboard that I had put over on the couch and I

hadnt looked to see how wet it got.. Well.. it was SOAKED..

Lime Icee all over it.. When I laid it on the couch.. I put it bottom

up..what I didn't notice is that part of it was on my mink cape..

When I got the keyboard off it.. I saw where it was wet.. I rinsed

that off right away.. My desk was another story...

It took me hours to wipe every thing off ..I ran out of towels and

so I got wash cloths and then I had to WASH every thing ..Lime

Green Icees are sticky.. I tried to wash my keyboard off ..I had

thought I did good till I looked real close at it a while ago..Shoot,

cat hair sticks to Lime Green Sticky Icees you know.. I have

the prettiest furry keyboard.. :-) My mouse..I washed him off

real good..I thought.. Hes sticking to my mousepad.. I know I

washed all this off really good I thought.. What a ordeal.. Now..

have I learned anything from this little test of my patience and

cleaning skills? YES..NO Drinks by the COMPUTER that are

NOT in a sealed container.. Lois has learned AGAIN :-)

Now..for a 2nd lesson real fast? well we spotted a FLY in here.

Dutch did of course.. He flies up on my desk.. I did let him back

on it.. and hes looking at the ceiling fan.. I have 2 long chains,

one for the light..one for the fan.. I see the fly land on the one

for the light..its longer .. and I find the fly swatter which I keep

under the couch cushion so I know where it is..and I proceed

to slowly move under the chain and get a better view..I have

no depth perception remember.. Im blind in my left eye.. So...

I get up closer, and I take a nice swing with that fly swatter.. I

have 10 foot ceilings in here ..so I had to really reach.. I hit

the chain to the light.!.it flipped up and OVER the fan blade

and around one of the lights .. I sat there and looked at that..

and see? I did it to my self AGAIN!!! can you believe ME??

Lord have mercy.. I use that light every day..in the mornings

its still dark when I get up..So I had to figure a way to get

the chain off the blade and the light up; there.. I had to laugh

at my self.. I cant believe the stuff I do to my own self..

Anyway, I got my grabber.. I reached up..hoping I could reach

it. well you already KNOW the outcome of that.. HELL NO ... I

couldn't reach it!! I had to put my hand on my left arm rest and

lean over that way and push UP at the same time..Then I had

to reach up; with my grabber and try to unhook that chain from

around the fan blade then the light.. I got it off the fan blade..

no problem..when I was going to reach back up to take it off

the light up there, Im blind in my left eye and I have no depth

perception.. yes.. I hit the Bloomin LIGHT BULB...it broke..

fell.. as Im sitting there saying quite a few ugly words..the door

opens and there is Penny.. She says " Lois..what are you

doing..get back..I will clean it up." I told her what happened

and we laughed.. This poor girl never knows what she is

going to walk into when she gets here..she dropped off some

rice krispie treats she made for me on her way to her other

client... :-) Im SO glad she showed up when she did..that

glass would have been a buggar for me to clean I would have

had to get the Beast out..and that pig rules.. I cant use that

thing..I lock down and I swear that vacuum still can push ME

around..instead of ME pushing IT.. :-) Oh, I did NOT get

hit with any glass and we never did get the FLY~~!!! :-)

Today was a day...started last nite.. :-) with the icee..then the

fly ..but Theresa came by..we had a nice chat.. she loves my

tales of what I have been doing..I can make her laugh so hard..

Im glad tho I can.. Then the girl Heidi comes over..shes so

cute.. and I had TOTALLY forgotten both of them were coming

over..but I had VERY good reason to not remember.. :-)

I do remember the way to the kitchen thru all this I havent eaten

ALL day..its been one of those wonderful days in the

GORGEOUS WEEBLE house.. its such fun to live here..:-)

I still havent figured out a name for the tree we should be hangin

in tho.. Macadamia? or Walnut maybe? :-) Food, and out of

this chair. I need out of this chair for today.. I will gladly

get back in it TOMORROW.. just let the rest of this day be good..

"nitey nite" sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite :-)
