~Ottawa Lake Road~

This is a photo of Ottawa Lake Road in Upper Michigan.. Its a

beautiful lake, some of the best walleye fishing up there. This

is how most of them look this time of year.. To drive through it

is wonderful..If you look VERY closely at the end of the road

there you will see deer that were crossing the road..This was

back about 91 I took this..when I had the joy of living up there,

which I honestly can say I would love to live up there.. I have still

lots of family up there..lots of cousins..would be nice to get the

family to where we all knew each other again, like it was when I

was growing up, all of us kids knew each other.. I don't know

half of mine up there anymore..and some, I havent seen in over

30 years and the sad thing about that..they live just 2 hours away

from me...Its my own fault too..I could have kept contact. But it

would be great to see the cousins I grew up with..the 2 Bobby's,

Jerry, Ronnie, Willard, Wayne..they are all still up there. My cousin

June, she is over 80 now, still drives, lives by herself...Same house

she has always lived in..Her 2 sons, Bobby & Jerry only live a few

miles from her..She is one of my very favorite people.. I just wrote

to her the other day.. I would like to have some of her old English

recipes that I know she got from her mother, my Aunt Ethel.. I am

going to try to get in touch with my cousin Nancy, she is working on

a family tree... I have my Dad's family tree..I will have to put some

of it here sometime.. it goes back to the 1400's.. they came over

on one of the first ships with Colombus..

Ive been thinking of a way to get the things done here that I need

to have fixed its kind of a bribe, but maybe will get someone to

want to come here and help out this GORGEOUS WEEBLE..

It would cost for fare to get here..maybe not too much...But if

someone would come here and help me for a week, that's all

it would cost them.. I have so many things I need done, Penny,

bless her heart cant do them..I want a border put up around my

kitchen ceiling, bless her heart she can only JUST barely

reach the light fixture! :-) I need this place winterized, plastic put

on the front porch and windows.. I would LOVE to have at least

this part of the wall that isnt all painted done..This flippin chair!,

Its gotten to the point im ready to get in my power chair and push

it out in the yard, put a sign "free" on it..and get rid of it.. :-) The

carpet Chris said I can take up, I want to get rid of this bed and

go back to a regular one that is smaller, this one doesn't help

me at all.. The condition my basement is in..it needs cleared up..

There is a long list. . .

I figgured if I made this offer, to come stay with me for a week, and

help me do these things, I will feed them..they can stay here, I have

a great couch to sleep on...and my boys they like company.. I don't

know how else to solve this problem of getting things done here..Ive

decided Im going to take my time and look for another place that is

more suited to me..but until then, im going to put this place the way

I want and need it to be..and that's organized and looking like its not

early salvation army decorated... I need to get rid of the stressers..

I want to sew again and I need this place arranged so that I can do

that.. I cant ask Donnie, and I cant ask Stanley, I cant ask my brothers,

they all have other major commitments and I know they wouldn't have

the time. I cant afford to pay anyone to come and help me... I had

thought about asking Raelynn's son Wayne if perhaps he would but

he has a lot of other problems that have priority. There is just NO ONE

I can think of.. Not HERE anyway....so that means I have to expand

my request, plea, what ever it is.. outside of this town. THEN,

maybe I can find someone to help me get this place NICE and the

kind of place a GORGEOUS WEEBLE should live in :-) I KNOW you

agree... :-)

MAJOR dilema yesterday.. About 2 yesterday I flushed the potty..well..

it did NOTHING but fill up with water.. I just sat and stared at it for a

minute and of course my first thought was..."GOD, ALWAYS some

thing"... I sat there and tried to remember if I had a plunger, which I

really knew I didn't, but I looked..emptied the bottom of the sink out,

the closet , the shelf in there..I looked..I knew I didn't but I had HOPED

maybe I was just having a CRAFT moment..I tried to use the potty

brush to see if that would help..of course, it didn't.. I could NOT imagine

why this happened.. I don't even put the toilet paper in there I have a

special bag in there for it.. I learned that LAST time it flooded..I wonder

why I wasn't smart enough THEN to get a plunger ? hmmm.. I guess I

figured if no paper goes in there that wont happen again.. HA! see

what I get for thinking? :-)

I of course called Chris..I got his machine..he never did call back..Then

I called Donnie, he was on his way to his 2nd job and down in Elkhart.

So, I sat for a minute and so NOW who do I call? I thought for a minute

and then called Penny.. She was at one of her other jobs and wouldn't

get off there for another 2 half hours.. Then she said she would come

by and get some money and go get a plunger and try to fix the potty..

3 hours later, she walked in the door, got some money and went to the

dollar store and for 3 dollars got a new plunger, which NOW, I WILL

be prepared just in case this happens again and I CANT find anyone.

She did it... and its fine..This kind of thing is what makes me really

THINK.. - I wasn't prepared.. I HAVE to be.. I cant let this kind of thing

happen, no matter what it is..I should be prepared for any possible

emergency..and I wasn't.. so... did Lois learn another lesson? Yes

this GORGEOUS WEEBLE hopefully has learned AGAIN... I am

really glad though that I still can learn, like the boy scouts motto I think,

a 'Be Prepared' sign needs to be hung to constantly remind me..
