~Only Took One Year~

Well.. see that? its a NEW WINDOW ~!!!!! Yup..Kenny and

some other nice guy came by about 1030.. would you believe

they only took 1 as in ONE HOUR to put that window in.. The

older man when he was leaving said " there ya go Hon, took a

year and only 1 hour to put in" he smiled, I thanked him and

he left... Kenny cleaned up..he had to sweep the floor as the

window they took out broke.. I cringed when I heard it.. I thought

my mirror fell or the picture over by the sink.. He hung the blinds

back up and put the curtains back too..wished me a Merry

Christmas and left.. One hour.. I was so GLAD to have the window

in.. Theres no storm window..just a window.. but its better than

what was there by ALL means. Im really glad.. All this time Ive

waited.. OVER a year.. and 1 hour to put in.. boy ..that's a shame

to be that Lax about taking care of business.. but all they care

about is the money and be behind in the rent? they will let you

know right quick.. But its IN and Im glad, I bet Chris is too, I know

hes sayin "NOW, she will quit NAGGIN" I bet he does ! :-) and

I am MORE than glad to stop..I was getting sick of it ! But one
year for delivery and 1 hour to put in ..somethings wrong with the
delivery people then wasnt Chris after all ..ya right :-D

Then- Robert came and used the snow blower on the drive way and

made a path down the side of the house thru the yard.. that's where

everyone walks.. Im glad he did now Penny wont have to walk thru

the snow or the street and now she can park her new car in the

driveway. Robert came to put up the plastic..well I don't have any,

not yet.. just seems there isnt any or Penny just cant find it.. I did

buy some big trash bags.. and cut the side and they will fit.. The

2 windows on the side of the porch are bigger than a normal one.

But a bag cut right will work.. I just want the snow out and to stop

some of the cold from coming in the door.. Well then, I looked for

the new staple gun I bought..I cant find it.. It was on top my desk,

we cleaned that off the other day and I have NO idea where Penny

put it.. Ive looked everywhere.. I will have to ask tomorrow so now

Robert will have to make a special trip back again... Always

something..

I posted this blog yesterday about 3 I think.. I didn't look..I immediately

went to bed.. I did not pass go, I did NOT collect 200 dollars either,

(monopoly rules) I got up on my bed, did not cover up.. gathered the

boys up..I did NOT turn on the TV.. I fell instantly SOUND asleep.. I

woke about 6 pm..when Donnie phoned..said he would stop by

tomorrow... I went right back to sleep and woke at 1:30 wide awake,

I have been up since... My sleep habits have gotten so out of control

I hate it.. I get so stressed out this time of year.. and run , ok roll..

till I HAVE to stop..then sleep for only short spurts..no longer than

2 hours..I wake, go back to sleep..wake in 2 hrs..because I get so

tired.. I miss my friend, I miss all the fun and happy times that I used

to have this time of year.. the parties ..the music..well I still have that..

but I miss the gatherings, the happy times.. the UN-loneliness .....

I used to love to plan a wonderful get together for the family and friends

we had.. I would bake and cook for days..get out all the decorations..

and put them everywhere inside and out.. Even the bathroom.. Every

where.. It was a great time.. We all would bring little gifties..not much,

some would bring just a scratch off for the lottery, or a 1.00 box of

candy.. just for fun.. We would tell stories of when we were small and

of some of our memorable christmases..or some that were just so

funny we laughed even harder than the first time ...It was a great time.
I miss that..

Now....I deal with every day as it comes.. I plan what I can , as

to whom may be coming by.. Penny or Heidi or Theresa, those are the

steady weekly visitors I have now.. and of course Donnie and Dawn

when they can.. which isnt often lately as he still doesn't have his

garagemahal done and well, we don't ask or DISCUSS it with him..

its not his favorite subject since he has a trench running the length

of his driveway he had to dig but before he could cover it back..well,

we got that rain and ice.. then the freezing temps..which froze the

dirt.. and now..well the trench is covered with a foot of snow! I wish

I could wiggle my nose and get his garage finished..Put a lot of

people out of their misery..like his wife and daughter ! :-)
Tomorrow.. wish us luck.. we are taking the new shelf I put up, down,

and moving the sewing machine and Penny is going to paint that wall.

wont take long.. I have that bloomin paint pan still, that got stuck on my

chair.. and I have the roller too, with the extension for the handle...and

the paint better be down the basement.. That will look so nice when its

done.. I would do it myself, which Im sure I can.. but..well.. Im not Good

with paint.. I get it everywhere... so I will ask Penny to do it.. If she

doesn't want to I will..but..Id rather be safe than sorry and risk getting

paint all over this carpet or what ever else I may be in reach of.. So if

she does it..I will just back away.. shouldn't take her too long.. I think

the shelf looks good it matches the wood of the sewing machine...It

wasn't easy doing all that but I like how i think it will look.. once that

wall is painted too will make a huge difference..

Since that is all open over there now..that heat register under the

desk blows air all in here ..so much that this little hat I have on

the lamp here by my desk will wave from the breeze of it.. I hope

maybe the new window and I get the bedroom ones done and the

porch I should be really snug here... and hopefully I will keep this

gas bill down to a low scream this winter..

Well my GORGEOUS WEEBLE self is tired.. hetic day again.. Like

my friend Momar says, for someone that never goes outside the

door I have a pretty full and busy life.. SOMETIMES :-) seems every

day theres something... Tomorrow I have to call and see if they will

deliver the Christmas Basket the Lions Club is donating to me but I

have to go and get it..that's not possible..so hopefully they will Bring

it to me.. I will find out.. I hope so. I steady have something to do it

seems lately..but that's the extra holiday stuff .. which is ok..the more

going on and thinking of friends and other things to do, I don't dwell

on me.. which is good.. I HAVE to go.. this patootie butt has yelled

too many times at me now..to where my hips are achey.. Its that

time, until tomorrow, " Nitey Nite" :-)
