~More Glories~
Every morning is such a surprise anymore with all the
lovely flowers out there. They are such a treat for me.
I have 3 colors of glories outside now. A lovely blue that
is just huge compared to the others, and then the deep
pink and you see the new light pink one now.. Next year
we will plant more and put up more of that chicken wire,
They are climbing really good on it but not good on just
the fence. I only got 1 package of the wire and was 10
foot long, I didn't thing that each fence piece is 8 foot
sections ... I'll get more and I KNOW how gorgeous that
little spot out there will be next year.. I will enjoy it even
more than I did this year.. All it needs is a nice birdbath like I
had. Was my mothers I asked Donnie about it.. I gave it to
them when they were at the farm.. I hope he tries to find it
for me. Id love to have it back..
Twice now those little blue flowers poke thru and bloom.

Twice now those little blue flowers poke thru and bloom.
I said it was a bachelor button but closer look I believe
its more like a blue daisy if you look closely at the leaves.
They look like daisy leaves.. and I LOVE daisys.. so did
my mother...
All over her yard and in every flower bed she had daisys
planted.. One of her best favorites were brown eyed susans.
Theyre really a daisy.. They grew wild all over, even here I
saw some along side the roads when I went to the doctor.
I saw the white and the browns. I think it was LadyBird
Johnson, the presidents wife that had all the wild flowers
planted along side the highways.. They have sure taken care
of them too.. Get caught taking them you will get a fine..
After my mother died I went down to the cemetery and I
planted a lovely daisy plant between the graves by the
headstone. My cousin sent me photos of how nice they look.
She goes down there at least once a week to tend to the
family graves. Its something they do up there, they don't
depend on the caretaker to do all the detail work on the
graves and its a old cemetery where you can still have big
stones and plant stuff..which is nice compared to these
new ones where it all has to be flat so they can just run
over top of all of it and no weed eating or trimming.. Quite
a few of my family are buried in one area, aunts and uncles,
4 sets, 2 cousins and my grandparents and my parents...
My mothers favorite song was "A Daisy A Day" and when
hear it I think of them cuz it sure describes them.. If you
havent heard it its by Jud Strunk.. If you would like to have
it I would be glad to send it to you.. I LOVE MUSIC...
I had a good lunch today..One of the better ones from COA.
Was meatloaf and mashed potatoes and broccoli.. AND a
container of strawberries and a cupcake to make strawberry
shortcake ! That was a good lunch.. I ate almost all of it .. I
did save some strawberries for later.. I LOVE strawberries..
Jam especially, I hope Theresa makes some more this year.
The arms are improving I'm pleased to say, however this spot
on my tail bone is driving me nuts.. I think its this bed.. The
longer I have it the worse the mattress gets. I would like to
have a day bed, something smaller than this.. I only take up
half of a twin bed you know.. Well... I be short ! :-) The
whole bottom half of my bed is useless I just keep my extra
woolbies there for the boys to sleep on.. I had seriously
considered a nice big over stuffed recliner. I watch TV in
there and that's about all I do in that room and Sleep! I
only sleep on my back or I sit up.. I do lay on my side off
and on when I can, but I could do that in a recliner tho..
A nice wall hugger would be great.. I would have more room
in there and maybe could do some sewing and cutting .. I
know I need to do something..
One something I'm gonna do is post this and go and play in
my PSP.. Paint Shop Pro.. and I think just have a light snack.
Penny said I am losing weight so if that's true .. well I don't
want it BACK~~~~ :-) Every so often I like to say Thanks
for coming here and reading, and I honestly sincerely do
appreciate it when you leave me a note to let me know you
were here... This GORGEOUS WEEBLE is most grateful ,
"Nitey Nite" :-)
Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? Love ya and Thanks!!!
