~Great Show~
Theres a show that I watch on The learning channel. Its
really good and I enjoy it.. Called Jon and Kate Plus 8..
I watch this young couple deal with the trials and tribulations
of raising 8..as in EIGHT children. This couple has to be in
their late 30's maybe? They got married, had twin girls,
then decided for 1 more.. when the twins were 4 Kate had
6 children.. sextuplets? That's like a whole LITTER!!! Bless
their hearts.. What a lifestyle change!..
There were 3 of each born.. 3 boys, 3 girls. I cant even
begin to imagine all that couple go through.. that's 10
people for meals every day! can you imagine the laundry?
I feel for Kate, and I love watching how they spend time
with each one of these kids, things they do and places
they go.. Showed them all on a flight..in the plane.. some
thing went wrong and the flight was postponed..they had
to wait in the plane.. All eight kids AND Kate were crying
by the time they got that plane off the ground...
I flew to upper Michigan when my sons were very young.
Mark was only a few months old, and Richard was only 2.
I flew by myself.. and what a job!.. The connection in
Chicago was so tight that they made all the other passengers
wait till we got off the plane.. Two male attendants came
up to me and each took one of the boys and all of us ran
down the runway to the next plane.. Needless to say my
luggage did not run down the runway with us.. That was
hard... I didn't get it until the next day..
I had a seat and held Mark that was in a carrier and Richie
had his own seat.. He had brought along one of his favorite
toys .. a grayhound bus... was about 6 inches long.. 2 inches
or so high.. kinda big.. but he hauled that bus EVERYWHERE.
he loved it.. While we were sitting there he was driving it
all over on the back of the seat of the man in front of him,
I asked the man if it bothered him, I would make him stop..
The man assured me he didn't feel that bus going up and
down the back of his seat with Richie saying Vrrroom vrroom,
as he pushed it around.. I think he did but he liked Richie
and every so often he would turn around and talk to him..
As Richie was pushing that bus around, we hit an air pocket or
something and the plane did a bounce.. Richie dropped the bus,
and of course it didn't land on its side.. no .. on the wheels.. I
was about to tap the man in front of Richie to ask if he could
see the bus, when I noticed as I looked down the lines of seats
you could see the peoples heads look down as the bus rolled
down underneath them, about 6 rows ahead a lady stands up,
says "I HAVE THE BUS!" Everyone laughed and I let Richie
out and he ran down the aisle to get it.. Took him forever to
get back to his seat as everyone on the plane just thought he
was the cutest thing.. he was so polite to the lady.. only 2 but
he still said "thank you"...
I feel a tad better today, I went directly to bed after I posted
here yesterday and did not get up but once about 11 and didn't
get up again till 630 this morning.. I still have a horrible headache
and I still sneeze off and on.. It feels like a cold. My niece has
moved here by her dad, my brother Kenny. She moved here from
Wisconsin. In one week she got a small house to rent and has been
offered 2 jobs.. One of them at the place where I was before I
was transferred up here to Heartland. Elkhart Rehab.. Everyone
was so very nice there and its a very nice place to work.. I didn't
mind being there at all.. in fact my room mate I had there, Robin,
she and I had the same last name.. She was very sweet.. shes gone
now though...but she had come up here to the HH when I was
there a couple times to visit me, she had a friend that brought
her up there... MaryJane said she isnt sure which job she will take
as the one is close to where she lives and that can mean a lot ,
specially in the winter. She is a certified aide. So its nice to know
if the time ever came and I needed to live with a companion and
couldn't live alone she has already said "not to worry Auntie, you
can live with me." makes me feel good...
Well its time for me to take a rest and wait for my netflix. I
am not hungry although they say 'feed a cold, starve a fever',
I'm not real hungry.. maybe just some soup today... I writ all
I could and now this GORGEOUS WEEBLE needs a rest,
"nitey nite". :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya, and Thanks..
Always, Lois ****
"God Bless You" is my prayer today.
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

So much happening. Cold. Niece moving. When I was young I could move to a new town or country. Now I just want to survive another day in my house, I do not even have time to enjoy NYC. Oh well soon. Soon the apples will be in full season in the stores. Then oranges. At least I do not lose my appetite for good food.
