~Pills Are Helping~ :-)

The pills Dr Semler gave me seem to be working. I

notice how the bad spots have dried up..where they

were is a tad darker but at least theyre going. It

feels a lot better.. I notice that when I get too warm

or its too hot in here that my arms will itch. I know

the condition of my arm rests doesn't help. Laima

said she would order 2 new ones for me from R&R,

theyre very good and prompt, hopefully next week I

will have them. I'll be glad :-)
My thumb looks ALOT better.. It had me worried for

a while as it just kept spreading and hurt, boy it did,

TOO much, I'm glad its healed up.. There are still

some spots and the Dr said it will never be really gone,

it will flare up from time to time.. I only have a 2 month

supply of pills and then have to go back to see him next

month.. they called and changed the appointment to 2

weeks later. I hope this ick doesn't come back It was

not fun at all.. I really don't need other stuff going bad.

But its improving and I m really happy about that...

We have 3 days of rain ahead of us and it started about

noon to rain. I knew it was going to with out them telling

me on TV. My stumps give me a heads up way in advance.

I probly could tell the weather man! :-) When the weather

is going to do a drastic change my stumps will feel very

tight and full..almost like theyre swollen, and some days

I honestly think they do cuz I cant get under the key

board tray that's under the desk.. I don't use it for that

its too low , I just stash stuff on it.. But some days I just

cant get as close so they have to be swollen a bit.. I notice

its not the stump itself that's aching tho.. its really the

invisible part.. Which to me I still find amazing...

I put my hand over the end.. telling myself.."Lois, the leg

ends HERE!" My mind pays no attention to what I say

and some of the pains I feel specially the one in my left

heel.. THAT hurts and sometimes I could almost YELL!

it hurts so badly.. The best way to describe it is to say

it feels like a ice pick or something sharp is being

stabbed into my heel repeatedly.. and it hurts.. Nothing

I do stops it either... it has to just wear it self out till

it stops..sometimes that takes too long, and I get so

aggravated... and no pill helps these pains... not for me

anyway....I used to take neurontin.. didn't do anything.

So now, I just grin and bare it. :-)

I'm done for this day, I am most thankful to have had,

even though it wasn't the great, ache wise, I still made it

through it and that's what counts.. I sent my netflix

back was Stargate with Kurt Russell.. that man has bluest

bluest eyes, just like my dad.. Kurt is so handsome and

a good actor. I enjoyed that movie, was 2nd time I saw

it but I still enjoyed it.. I like movies, no commercials..

Time to close and call it a day, first my GORGEOUS
