~Nuther Phone Day~
I spent all morning on the phone setting up the gas and
electric which are different companys than here which
I'm so surprised being only 15 miles away.. But the on and
off dates are all set.. I just have to decide if I keep
direct TV or do I go to Charter and just deal with them
instead of verizon and direct.. Charter can do all 3.. It
costs more than Comcast but I don't have to pay for
water at this new place, so that can be the difference.
I just like the idea of all 3 together.. It will make it
a lot easier, just one bill instead of 3..
Penny came and we discussed our plan of attack on the
packing.. I can do the smaller stuff and she will have to
deal with the stuff in the basement.. She brought up the
4 dining room chairs and they don't look too bad and I'm
so glad as they match the table.. I have 4 card table chairs
that match my card table.. but they don't match other wise.
I like having them for extra seating and I think in the spring
Penny and I will have a yard sale.. so I can get rid of a lot of
this stuff I really don't need... Now we have to find packing
material.. newspapers or something.. We will use towels and
bedding as well.. Some things I have I would be so upset if
they got broken.. Like my tea pot collection.. I noticed in
the kitchen above the cupboards is a nice place to hang my
plate collection I have...
I logged off yesterday and packed some more here in the
living room so its almost ready to go... And the kitchen wont
really be that hard cuz most we kept packed up and didn't
use at all.. I know I will have to get a stand or cart or some
thing for my big microwave, It could fit on the counter but
I wouldn't be able to reach inside it very good.. I had a nice
cart that it sat on before in the apartment, but that was one
of the things that fell off the trailer when I moved last time.
My microwave is a big one as its a combination of a regular
oven and a microwave.. It wont fit on my bakers rack we tried
that before... I'm sure if we check goodwill or something we
can find a stand or cart for it.. If I cant get one right away
I still have my little small one, and with a regular stove I have
that oven...although I don't like using it its very dangerous,
that's why I got the combo...
I havent heard from Dave with R & R but if I don't today I
will call again and see when he can come by and we do the
trade hopefully. That will save me some money... He said he
would be interested in my old power chair too.. to re sell it.
If he can sell for me that would be great.. Its a $7000 chair
sitting in my basement and I think its just the battery charger
is bad... I'm not sure, if its that there isnt any thing wrong
with it.. its like brand new.. I think it was only outside a few
times so I know the tires are good.. I hope we can make a
deal...
We have snow and it didn't get above 32 today and windy as
can be.. Poor Penny was shivering when she came in from fixing
the bird seed outside.. Poor little birds I hope they can find
me in Colon.. Some thing broke my bird feeder Penny said..the
whole bottom of it is broken and I guess its Mr. Squirrels fault.
I cant imagine who else would have.. but I don't see how he
could do that either.. but its broken and I will have to get a new
one for the new house.. I have to feed the animals.. I know
there are some there with that big maple outside there like
the one here.. I was so glad to see that tree there..
Well, needless to say, I'm gonna post this, take a 20 and then
try to do a bit more packing today.. I'm ready to move... to
my new place and to my couch :-) First my GEORGEOUS
WEEBLE "nitey nite".. :-)
WEEBLE "nitey nite".. :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!!!
Always, Lois ****
"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Hi, Honey,
This packing is pure Hell, isn't it? Never mind, it's all for a better place. Imagine not having that musty smell coming up from the basement!
You may find that the battery on your power chair is shot by now. They need a regular charge every month or so to keep them O.K. Which reminds me, I must charge my generator battery!!
I have a generator in the garage, just in case we get power cuts in the winter. Got to keep the deep freeze running!
Take care, Honey,
Luv Ya,
Raife
