~Lots Done Today~

I have cauliflower ear... I spent most of the morning on the

phone.. I talked to Gary with the city twice, talked to COA, 3

times, my caseworker twice, and the man with the duplex, twice.

Oh I talked to Rebecca and a couple friends phoned in between

to check on me... That, was so nice to hear, such encouragment..

I did get a lot accomplished and I found out quite a bit today

as well.... mainly about Ken Schwartz... Hes not a good man at

all...and he lies like a rug. But I accomplished alot today. :-)

Apparently he knew about the foreclosures back in July, the

3rd is when foreclosure was filed... Ken knew and lied to me..

Gary also said Ken hasnt paid a dime on his over 40 houses.

And that I need to stop rent payments to him... He also did

say Ken could possibly be facing criminal charges for not

letting us know and for the payments hes received... Gary

feels so bad that this is happening to so many that live here.

He has to deal with calls like mine all day long.. some in worse

shape than me.. He said a couple with 3 kids all under 5 years

old are homeless... These poor people... what is going to come

of all this is so scarey...

Penny had her day cut out for her.. You see in the photo up top,

of course I HAD to be in it :-) My bed is gone from the bed

room, Millie came today and picked it up. Penny moved my TV

into the living room and its set up... We didn't get any packing

done yet though, with the bed gone we have a place to put

the boxes as they are packed.. Penny is bring boxes on Wed.

ones she used to move into her new place, and when I undo

them I will give them back to her... We are going to do a room

at a time... It has to have a packing plan to get it done..

NOW, I did talk to Joe, hes the man with the duplex. We talked

for quite a while and hes in a wheel chair too, so he said he

KNOWS the place is wheel chair friendly.. and he made the state

ment "If anything needs adapted for you, I will gladly do it". I

thought that was very nice.. Its 1 bedroom, has a dishwasher,

central air and heat and has a garage. I mentioned to him that I

would need extra storage as this house has a basement.. He said

the garage is full of junk but he would clean it out.. We could

work out some arrangements.. Hes very willing to help.. He said

I could move in today if I wanted to.. its ready...

I made an appointment with Joe to meet him there on Wednesday

at 10:30.. I called Nora at COA and set up a ride, Curtis will be

here about 10. I have already decided if its accessible and I can

make do with it I will take it.. I cant afford to be picky as so

many are looking.. I called my caseworker, Melody, and she is

sending the papers I need, some SER form and she will help

with the paperwork I will need for deposits etc... Things are

rolling.. and I am rolling as fast as I can.. Our weather is so

unpredictable that I think I need to do this move while I can.

Hope fully I can make arrangements so poor Donnie, even

though he would, but so he doesn't have to handle moving all

this stuff again.. He and I talked about it and of course he

said "Any help you need Gran, you know you can count on me".

Which I knew.. hes a good kid... and I am SO grateful for him

and Dawn...

Well I'm tired, its been a very busy day, thank you all for the

encouraging words, emails, phone calls..so gratefully appreciated.

I sincerely am grateful for having such dear friends..Thanks..

Ok, I'm done for today, I just got to roll backwards and crawl

up on that couch behind me.. not far to go to take a 5 now! :-)

This GORGEOUS WEEBLE earned her tired for today, so its

time for my "Nitey Nite".. :-)
