~Wheres Rebecca?~ :-)

My sewing helpers :-)

I havent heard from Rebecca this week which makes me
nervous. She phones every week, so whats up now I dread
to think. Ive decided NOT to keep this crap in my head- as
little as possible and until I hear otherwise I cant worry
with this.. I think my next safest logical step is to talk to
my landlord and explain everything to him. Joe works for
the government I think, so he may have a solution and all
this time Ive been worrying.. I sent him my rent with a
note, so hopefully he will come by and we can talk.. I really
think that is the best next step, for me anyway to protect
myself from being homeless again.. I will NEVER go back
to that again.. I cant even begin to tell you the feelings it
gives you, and I feel so insecure again because of all this,
that I cant deal with it, so Joe is my next option since I
cant depend on CMH since all they offer is an apology for
making this awful mistake.. So.. anyhoway... :-)

I have been up since 6:30 and I have been sewing shorts
and pj's for my boy Alex.. Hes just so precious.. and SMART.
Donnie sees him all the time and says "Gran, this boy is REALLY
smart, he amazes me". Kelli said after the 4th they would come
up and visit, so I want to get these shorts and pj's done. I had
some very light weight cotton with space ships on it and I know
it will make for some nice light weight jammies for Alex. I made
6 pairs of shorts and 4 tops plus 2 pair of jammies... I think he
will like them and Kelli, bless her heart, always appreciates things
I give to her. She always immediately sends me a email or phones.
Which makes it all worthwhile.. its nice to be appreciated.

We have a little free newspaper that we find outside our door
every Tuesday, and in this paper is a great column its called
Good Neighbors... People write to it that are looking for things
or have something to sell cheap or even free.. Up north , at
home, radio station WIKB in Iron River, MI, they had, maybe
still have, a call in radio show, in fact that's where I got David
his bow for archery deer hunting.. I got him his first one from
Telephone Time, and it was on Valentines Day. It was a very
popular show and even when you moved away you could call them
and say hi to all your friends up there, cuz you KNEW everyone
and you knew everyone in the whole of Iron County was listening.
This little column reminds me of the radio show.

I wrote to them and asked if someone might know where I could
get some free wood for to build a deck so I can get out my back
door.. Its not been printed yet but I'm anxious to see if I hear
from anyone, I sure would like to sit out side, but if it doesn't
happen its ok..but at least I'm still tryin to get one built :-) Just
in case I CAN stay here.. see? I still go back to that.. Sure is
getting old.. When I was on HUD I never had this worry.. Sure
our rent went up, yearly, when we got our $20 every January,
which NOW we don't get though... thanks to you know who...

I need to get back to sewing before this bit of energy I have
runs out, and usually by 1 or 2 I'm on the downswing in the
energy department :-) Penny made meat pie yesterday :-) When
Steve came over to tell me about the water, he says "Sure
smells good in here". When Lisa came over with the plumber to
check my faucets to get the air out so I wouldn't get sprayed
from the force of water back in the lines.. she said, "boy, Steve
was right, it sure DOES smell good in here.. :-) I KNEW it did
and the best part of that was I got to eat it.. I told them both
it was my meat pie.. Chris the lunch girl saw me eating it and
she said "boy Lois, that not only smells good, it sure looks good
too! I'm gonna try that". I told her how easy it is to make and
since she is 7 months pregnant with her 3rd child, she needs
some easy fix meals :-) Penny is making some baby booties and
I plan to make some things too for her, shes so nice I hope she
will bring the baby by for me to see, she has 2 girls and this
baby is a boy. shes very excited :-)

Post time and time for some meat pie for this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE, wanna join me? I have plenty !
"I shall return!" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks !
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you Friend,
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

    Hi, Honey,
That meat pie sure sounds good! We were at my Sis's to-day, filling the raised beds I made for her with soil. She made us a traditional English dish - "Bangers and Mash", with onion gravy. For those who don't know, that is fried pork sausages and mashed potatoes and the smell of the onions frying, to make the gravy, sets your appetite up ready!!
You need plenty of butter in the mash, just to hold it together!!!
    Take care, Honey,
    Luv Ya
