~Snows Goin, Yard Work Time~

I was sitting at my usual spot having coffee and

I was thinking about what all needs done outside,

and how was it gonna get done, specifically- WHO

was gonna do it.. Its not in Pennys job description

to do my yard work.. She does some, as a courtesy

to me.. But this year the whole west side of this

place should be cleaned out.. There are TREES

growing right next to the house, they need to be

taken out, not counting the stuff that needs pulled

like the dead peonies here by the backdoor.. and

the sunflowers from last year.. Lots to do.. :-)
While I was thinking all this I looked up to see Carl

out there raking the edge of his yard.. Good timing!
I had thought about asking him what he would charge

to clean along side here AND to edge my sidewalks..
They drive me nutz seeing them look so.. un-neat :-)
New word :-) They look iccky front AND back.. The

front... Well .. its totally disgusting and I'm ashamed

for anyone to see it.. I guess with 4 days of rain

they are hoping the poop will melt. But you KNOW what

kind of grass WONT be out there this summer? Ya..

None or Ickky looking kind.. THAT makes me un

happy...I like a nice yard...
I KNOW we are.. ok .. Penny are.. gonna plant some

more sunflowers.. Hopefully to attract those gold

finches.. What a beautiful bird.. And of course my

hummers.. They say that they are pretty tame.. so

MAYBE ifn I can get a deck out there and sit there,

they might get used to me and come right by me..

or better yet LAND on me.. Wouldn't that be great!
Ive seen photos where they have..
Woodie was out there this morning too.. He hadnt

been by in a while.. He jumped from the tree to

the birdbath, back and forth.. Usually he goes up

onto the stand for the corn.. I got some nice pics

of him.. He was pecking at a spot in the tree over

and over.. I noticed sap is running down it.. that

may be what hes after- Me thinks Spring is springin!
My sis phoned yesterday, shes doing some sewing

for her great grand daughter that's due in May..

She was putting in sleeves.. and I KNOW what a

pain in the butt they are to do.. So she took a break

from that to phone.. :-) The baby is Amy's, Bev's

daughter.. She has 2 little boys already so this

being a girl.. well I KNOW mom and gramma's are

excited.. This is 3 for Bev.. This will be my great

great niece.. ya.. Bev, Amy, baby.. ya.. Had to count

for a minute.. :-) Beverly has a nice family.. a son

too, named Chris.. He was a kid.. some of the stuff

that boy did was awesome.. We never knew what to

expect from him.. All boy.. hes grown into a handsome

guy.. I don't know him very well ... sadly. but I keep

tabs thru Shirley, she keeps me updated on everyone.

Beverly.. well.. shes one of my Honeygirls... cuz shes

a honey.. Cutie too! :-)
Rebecca is due today, not sure what time.. She may

wait till she comes up to pick up her son from day

care.. which will be about 4.. I don't mind her coming

that time of day.. very few I will let do that though..

I prefer my 'visits' to be morning.. 9 or 10... I poop

out by 1.. :-)


I closed this puter down yesterday, right after I

posted the blog.. I got my kool aid.. and went into

my bedroom, sat there for a few minutes to wait

for the TV to come on.. I looked at my bed.. Yawned

and said to my self.. "TAKE A 5.." I did.. :-) I got

up on my bed.. fixed my pillows.. tucked a blanket

around my stumps.. and I took a nap.. next thing I

knew it was 3:15.. :-) I had a nice 5'er... :-)

Well.. anyhoway.. its post time and for this GORGEOUS

WEEBLE to find some lunch.. what... I have NO

idea.. and I don't have any cravings.. My yellow rice

was so good yesterday.. I put what was left in the

freezer, as I wasn't sure if I wanted it 2 days in a

row.. I may just have some Mrs Grass's Noodle Soup..

Extra noodles of course.. with some club crackers..

THAT sounds good.. Menu is decided... so color me

gone for today.. but remember.. I SHALL return!
