~Squirrel and The Kittie~ :-)

I watched this black and white kittie yesterday, as he

slowly and quietly sneaked up on that birdbath. :-)

That squirrel was SO busy eating that he didn't

hear the cat or just didn't care.. He was steady going

at those sun flower seeds...
After what seemed like 10 minutes, which it wasn't..

The cat looked at me as if to say "SHHHH.. Im Sneakin".

The squirrel is looking around at the same time ...

you know hes thinking "I HEAR SOMETHING"......

Almost both at the same time they looked at each

other.. The squirrels tail started twitching so

fast so I knew he was ready to jump to the

tree, which was a short distance for one of

them.. I bet they can jump 6 feet :-)
The cat just sits there .... I bet he could almost

taste that squirrel... :-) In one leap the squirrel

was up in that tree as the cat made a mad dash

to the EMPTY birdbath.. The look on the cats face..

Well I know what I would have said :-) Rhymes with

Fit.. :-) So the cat just sat there for quite awhile by

that birdbath.. He finally gave up and decided

the food I put out there was cold.. but better

than nothin ! :-) He slowly walked down the path.

I LOVE my backyard :-)
Donnie came by yesterday afternoon.. I was

glad to see him.. Made me feel better seeing

he was ok than him just telling me "Don't worry",

over the phone.. Id rather see for myself...He

has a cut over his left eye.. kinda middle side

forehead... not real big.. and its bruised.. still a

tiny knot though.. Well a concussion, you KNOW

it would leave a mark for a few days... But hes

doing ok.. All hes got to do now is WHAT the

Dr SAYS! He promises he will.. so hopefully...

he will... :-) I gave him his pasty which he grate

fully accepted and stated "MMMM, this is

what I'm gonna have for supper" , and he was

ready to leave.. :-) It was nice living closer..

and I'm glad hes willing to drive this far to

come by and see me.. Hes a good kid.. :-)

Speaking of kids, I got a call from my oldest

son, he would like some family photos for a

project that my grandson has at school. Which

are pictures of family.. So after I post this I

will have the fun of going thru my older photos

looking for ones to send to him.. I honestly do

enjoy doing that.. Brings back so many good

memories of some of my most dearly loved

people... That is what I plan to do after I post

this...:-)

I feel pretty good today and I did sleep pretty

good last night.. I only remember looking at the

time once .. about 3 or so... So that's pretty good.

LB woke me up about 7:30 walking across my

chest meowing "MOM... MOM... " he DOES say

that... Many have heard him.. :-) So I got up.

I'm having the last piece of MY pasty today..

Penny has done quite well with these.. I think

she might could open a pasty shop :-) She IS

a good cook.. Her boarders tell her that all the

time.. :-) Lots of her recipes are ones Ive given

her.. But that's how good cooks do.. We like to

share what we know.. My son Mark is a VERY

good cook too. :-)
