~Too Much TV~

Ive been watching more TV than I think I

ever have... And I honestly am in awe at what

the news is.. The kids... my word.. even close

by here! A boy walked up to his grandfather

with a gun.. killed him.. those 2 young girls from

Pennsylvania.. 16 I think.. they had a death pact

and killed them selves by falling in front of a

train. At 15 and 16 these young women saw no

future? How sad.. It happened here too .. a

small little town... a boy laid on the tracks..

kids killing other kids and their siblings, parents..

Its ALL because of how bad it is.. no work.. and

this government is more worried about health

issues.. Worry more about JOBS..

Why I thought of this.?. I live across the street

from the high school here.. The police are always

going by.. I got up early this morning, about 6:45..

By 7:30 the kids are walking by to go to school...

I saw a young girl.. about 16.. she had on those

beach shoes..tongs... a short skirt,, her hair didn't

even look combed.. She walked with her head down

and very fast.. Its cold out there this morning and

RAINING! Windy too.. But how and why would her

mother let her out the door like that? I wouldn't!

I don't know this girl.. but I would buy her a pair

of shoes if she needs them.. She had on a short

thin looking jacket .. I felt so bad for her.. that no

one cared she went to school like that.. Then we

wonder what is happening to these kids. SAD...

Gloomy day and gloomy subject.. I sure can tell its

raining, bad thing is .. its sposta rain for the next

5 days! I live 1 block away from that river over

there that feeds Palmer Lake.. I sometimes worry

about flooding.. Never has happened tho, Ive asked

Joe.. Other bad thing about this rain is the fact

its melting the snow..and my front yard... well.. I

looked this morning and its disgusting.. I wont put

another crappy photo here of it.. :-)

Another way I KNOW its raining is the reason I got

up early.. My stumps feel like they are twice their

size today.. They FEEL swollen.. they arent.. but

they are cold...They feel tight.. but not to the touch..

My scar on the left one has decided its been pretty

good and its time to act up.. It gets like another

scar over it. I put lotion on it every time I go

to the bathroom.. I keep the lotion on the back of

the toilet since its easier to put it on sitting there..

I HAVE learned though to make SURE I rub it into

my hands or wipe them off BEFORE I grab the

side bars on my chair to pull my self back in it.. I

HAVE learned that !! :-)

Today we are making yellow rice.. I LOVE that.. Its

been ages since Ive had it.. Penny took a piece of

sausage out of the freezer and we will put it in with

the rice while it cooks.. There are 2 really good kinds,

well brands.. VIGO is one and of course Zatarans..

which is excellent.. Yellow rice is very good with both

chicken AND pork.. The rice is yellow because of the

saffron in it...I think.. I dunno .. all I know its good

and I am SO ready for it.. Its cooking now so by the

time I post this it will be time to EAT! :-)

SO.. this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is gonna post this and

head back to the kitchen.!. Hope y'all have a nice
