~Gonna Do With That Ramp?~ hmmm :-)

Arent they pretty? What was waitin for me this morning :-)

It surprises me that no one has finished taking that willow tree

down that's over there across the street. Its been a couple weeks.

One guy came and I really cant tell what he did .. he left a mess!
The grass hasnt been cut either.. I heard that they let it go back to

the bank after the guy died.. I wonder what bank that they don't keep

up on the maintence, especially if theyre gonna try to sell it, which I

would think would be their objective. They cant want very much for it.

Its not a house, house, its a mobile home, a trailer..I cant tell if its a

double wide or not, I don't think so.. I wonder if they would wanna get

rid of that ramp? Its a nice one, it would work for me .. Id prefer to

have a landing and not just go down a ramp, that's not easy to do..

going out is ok.. but back in..is NOT easy on a slant..in a power chair,

doesn't matter, but a manual..to stop on a slant, and open a door,

that's not easy...
That's the problem I had at Keystone, I could get OUT the door but I

couldn't get all the way up that ramp and to open the door you had to

stop on the slope...not easy.. I told Doug about some of the faults

with that place.. I'm glad I got that visit with him over with.. I think,

just between you and me, that he was just being nosey.. said he

didn't remember me..HA! soon as he walked in I KNEW he did..:-)

Some of the stuff he said did NOT reassure me of the stability of

this grant, specially if they want us all to apply for section 8, which

is what Rebecca is filling out for me...and ALL her clients...

Well.. your gonna love this...:-) I figgured out why I can no longer

reach the floor when I lean forward.. :-) Know why? I got FAT! ;-)

It seems my stomach has expanded and NOW my arms are too

short and I cant reach the floor.. To even pick up the cat food

bowl is hard to do..:-) I have stopped eating any candy.. I hope

that helps..but I never ate that much before anyway.. But I have

to do something..THIS is NOT Good :-) Ive started doing a few

more exercises before I get out of bed in the morning too..I have

tried to do some at night. my stumpercizes :-) but by the time I

get on my bed, I'm ready to go to sleep.. :-) But I solved that

problem kinda sorta, well I found out the reason, lets say, that

my arms got shorter... :-)

My boy came by last night, totally exausted... He looked worn out.

Its been so hot here, the heat factor is way over 102..He works

with NO air conditioning, he doesn't even have it in his truck ! I

told him to go home and to jump in the lake.. Take his clothes off

or at least his wallet out of his pocket and head for the water..:-)

Hes been doing that.. The heat has been just terrible..I am so glad

I have this central air..First ive ever had it and it sure beats a window

unit... I gave my window one I had at the little house to Donnie , he

has it in his bedroom so at least he and kittie sleep cool :-) His cats

name IS Kitty, shes a siamese..No wonder they get along :-) Penny

made pastys yesterday and of course one for Donnie, he was most

pleased to get it.. Said John was at his house, he just got back

there, so he was stopping on the way home and eating his :-)

No plans for today, which is ok.. I'm ready for some quiet time..This

has been a most hetic week..something EVERY day it seemed..I

don't expect anyone here till Monday.. I might try to work on my

PC and then I may wait till tomorrow.. :-) I dunno.. I do know its

post time for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE .. I shall return! :-)
