~OK Visit~
My visit with Doug and Rebecca went well and I was very nice.
I was on my best behavior and deliberately avoided my problems
I was on my best behavior and deliberately avoided my problems
with Doug...I honestly don't see any reason for his visit other than
to check up on the workers from Keystone that are handling this
grant.. I tried to be nice about that subject too.. Although I did tell
him the problems I had at keystone...Hopefully they are fixed.. I
did ask him about why they are having us fill out and apply for
section 8 housing.. I told him I worry that this grant is gonna be
pulled and I will be back out in the street again.. He assured me
that as of now this grant is safe..Its all money from independent
sources that pay for it.. NOT the state, even though it is really
a state agency I think...As long as I don't have any worries..
I did tell him about the changes and the rent increase that totally
upset me and what it did to my budget. He offered no solution on
that..So lets hope it doesn't happen again...I don't like changes,
I need things to stay on an even keel so to speak...When they
"rock the boat" I get very uneasy.. And this past week or so I
have felt this way.. and the depression .. well.. Ive been kinda
not in the best mood.. The ups and downs get to me sometimes.
Bev, honeygirl.. I KNOW how hard YOU work. and I worry about
you.. Stop and take time to enjoy those beautiful grands you have,
while you can. We all need to work, true, but sometimes, like with
Donnie or Kelli, and I'm SURE your Amy... are workaholics.. Donnie
HAS to stay busy..but he goes such full force it takes a pill to slow
him down at night so he can sleep.. To me .. well is it worth it? I
don't do pills of any kind anymore.. I know I do need my thyroid..
but that's all I will agree to take..The times have changed so much..
And time is going so fast, its scarey to me...And its sad how this
world has turned out... Compared to 30 years ago.. I still say I
was born and raised in the best years of this country..the 50's,
60's and even the 70's...Those were the days.. :-)
My day now for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is to have some lunch.
My day now for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is to have some lunch.
What - we are not sure.. Penny had to go to the store and to the
post office AND to make copies for me .. since I cant use my
printer being its connected to my broken PC. Ive not worked on
that either, I was gonna run the cd last Saturday and put it off
and its already the NEXT Saturday.. So..hopefully I will fix it
then.
ANYHOWAY.. its post time.. but ! I shall Return! :-)
Always, Lois ****
"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you 'friend'.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

True, I was nice, and even shook his hand, some people just cant bend or do "human" things...Im glad Bob is ok..Perhaps because of this heat ..for the free drinks I mean.. The heat index here has been over 100..
