~A Fixed Ceiling !~ almost...

I woke up this morning, at 7:20 I want you to know.. I slept
late..I think I probly could have slept longer but I was waiting for
Kenny and I thought he would be here early..he didn't get here
till after 10 or so.. He plastered the ceiling..The hole that was
above the bedroom door it still doesn't look dry to me..but then
Im not a ceiling repairer..He said hes coming back tomorrow
and sand or something.. He wanted to move the couch and I
asked him not to. It would be major moving because of the
risers..and it really takes 2.. He worked around it which I really
appreciated..he covered it with a tarp.. He left about noon
and came back with a de-humidifier for the basement.. He
said he will check it tomorrow or to have Penny check it
when she is here.. as damp as it is down there I bet it will
thing..and it wasn't something I could put my finger on as to
what it could be.. I rolled into the kitchen and it wasn't as
strong there..THEN..as I rolled thru the hall and into the bath
room past the heat register I felt the air coming out of it...
the smell was from my FURNACE ~!~ it was so cold in here
that it clicked on.. I had my thermostat set way down to 40.
I am NOT ready for a higher gas bill..That is the one thing
I am NOT ready for a higher gas bill..That is the one thing
I dread about winter.. Maybe If I make sure the window is
done and the front door is sealed good..put some heavier
drapes in the bedroom maybe that will help... I was not
expecting to feel the heat, but I have to admit as cold as I
surprised and very glad.. She said that Robert wasn't able to
do yards for a while and they had so many that needed help
that they decided to hire a yard service to cut peoples grass.
I thought that was really great... It didn't take him long, and he
didn't come to the door at all..he did a good job.. who he was
or what company I couldn't see as the truck was parked too
far away for me to read the sign on the side of the door.. I
was, am so glad to have it cut.. I told that to Sherry, she said
if the city did give me a ticket for not keepin my grass cut to
just let her know and she would explain I was with COA..that
made me feel better...all I need is a ticket for that... :-)
We had to watch of course, the boy doesn't miss too much.. I

We had to watch of course, the boy doesn't miss too much.. Idon't need to say where LB was..his highness was on his
usual perch on the back of the recliner..Those two will miss
that thing if I get rid of it and put my sewing machine there...
They will probly just lay on that.. They lay on the floor a lot and
it may sound weird but I hate when they do that.. I would
rather they lay on the chair, or couch, my bed..any where but
on the floor where people are walking and who knows what
they have stepped in .. :-) well that's true, lots of stuff can stick
to shoe bottoms.. Lots of times Ive watched how on different
peoples shoes they will smell and try to rub every part of them
selves on that shoe... Its funny though I wonder what they think
when they see these other people with shoes and feet and
then see me with none... Hmmm.. doesn't seem to matter to
them but I know they LOVE shoes..toes especially..my sister
 can tell you that...
When she would come over in the summer and have sandals
on with her toes showing..LB used to first lay all over her foot
rub his face on her toes.. then he would move in front of them
and start to wedge his wet nose BETWEEN her toes and it
would drive her NUTZ...she would laugh and push him away
only to have him turn right back in a circle and do the same
thing again ... She didn't wear open toed shoes too much
 after that...
I miss shoes tho.. I loved those nice high spike heels.. I wore
them every chance I got.. I just looked at a online catalog which
thank God didn't take paypal..and they had some really great
shoes.. I always look at them...This catalog had lots of other
stuff too..clothes that were just beautiful..but WAY too pricey
for my budget.. I need to make the black top for the leopard
outfit.. I may leave them as pants just to take a photo to show
I have ACTUALLY put pants ON after all these years. ... 5
I have ACTUALLY put pants ON after all these years. ... 5
now ... long time... I still prefer skirts..lots easier and I would
think more comfy to wear... plus I think they look so much more
feminine which is a good thing..specially when.... your a
 GORGEOUS WEEBLE :-)
I have a little of my meat pie left after Donnie had a TASTE of
it..TWICE last nite.. He mumbled a few times "This is SO good"
He hasnt had mine in awhile.. And meat pie the next day is even
better...I didn't have lunch so im hungry ,, SO.... its food time, TV
time, and time to say "Nitey Nite"...
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear ? love ya, and THANKS!!! :-)
 ALways, Lois ****
God Bless you, is my prayer today,
 I'm so honored to call you  "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
 Until I write again.....

We will be getting our temp down to 46-48 and we should have the heat on for a few hours to take the chill off. The US is the only large country still with farenheidt temperatures.

Hi, Honey,
What a great relief - ceiling fixed AND the grass cut. I know how both were worrying you, and you can really do without any extra worries right now.
Take care, Honey, L.O.L. & G.B.H. from
