~Nice Day~ :-)

Quiet Saturday today, not much going on at all and I didn't do too much other than to make some chicken & tomatoes again..That is so good.. I did order this months food from the Angel Food Ministry..That is such a good thing..and you get so much and its not just left over type its all name brand all wrapped securely and its really good.. What I got for Donnie last time he has really enjoyed.. Lots of people buy it..and many do so they can donate it to the food pantry or if they have a church family that could use some extra food..its a really good thing..and its in I think just about every state and most towns.. My sister has it at her church..Its really good and I highly recommend it.. I was sitting here making a plan of attack to get this place squared away until I can get another.. I phoned the lady with the house on the lake and left a message but I havent gotten a call back, and I noticed the ad was taken from the paper so I have a sinking feeling its rented..And for that amount of rent I knew it wouldn't last long and being on one of the nicest lakes in the area.. I had thought about putting an ad in the paper about wanting to rent a house and put it had to be wheel chair accessible inside.. I can fix the out side since I already have a ramp, but until I do find and can get another house, I need to get this one squared away and get things I am not going to use or need again and get rid of them.. I hope I can sell this chair, I really could use the money, but if I cant..well I could donate it to a nursing home or somewhere... I just want to get rid of it.. Before I do move I have a lot of stuff I need to filter out that I don't need.. NOT my clothes of course.. I HAVE to have them.. but I have a lot of extra JUNK that I hang on to thinking I MAY need it. well that MAY never shows up again... I made coffee this morning and I spilled it on the way into the living room and left a nice trail behind me.. I didn't want to back up or I would roll thru it..so I pushed myself through the doorway into the living room..as I got to the door I was going too fast, as usual, and I hit the door frame and spilled coffee then all over the carpet.. I finally made it to my desk, with no further mishaps..got some napkins and started to wipe my way back into the kitchen so to speak.. by the time I got to the last of it my arms ached and I had NO desire to drink anything right then after being folded in half like that.. I forget how short my arms are and still try to wipe up the floor, knowing I can only just with my fingertips reach the floor..if I lean over the arm rest I cant even get near it.. I tried to pick something up yesterday when Penny was here, I leaned over the arm rest and my fingers didn't even come close to it.. Penny laughed at me and she got it for me..I told her its hell being short..she knows..shes no bigger than a minute herself.. I bet she weighs 50 pounds soaking wet! Shes tiny and sure doesn't look like a gramma of 4 I think..and another on the way by her son.. He moved to Detroit and she and I looked up the train fare there its only 46.oo round trip..that's not bad, I told her maybe the next time she goes I would go along, I have some good friends there in that area I havent seen in years that would be so nice to see them... Well my chicken is done and waiting for me.. this was a good day and Im glad..no stress and just a nice end to a hectic week.. Time for food, TV and sleep..of course not necessarily In that order..
