~My Mouse Is Dying~

Dutch has killed my mouse. Well shes not dead yet, but in

the serious last stages. It comes on and off..more off than on.

I got stuck with stuff on my screen and it quit for over an hour.

I did everything but call it what it was.. Well ..how did Dutch

KILL the mouse?? he drowned it, how else? He knocked over

a cup of HOT coffee across the desk and into my lap!. I had

only JUST set it down, rolled around to get into facing my

desk, reached for my glasses, and BOOM! heres Dutch

skidding across my desk, and that HOT, JUST MADE, of

which I had NOT even had ONE sip of..came pouring all

over my desk and my lap..my right stump mainly..

I didn't know which to grab first, the heat took my breath away

for a second.. I had only just made that cup it was HOT..I pulled

my skirt up, which was drenched, with one hand while I grabbed

my keyboard and mouse with the other.. NOW..talk about

MULTITASKING..I mean.. HOT coffee everywhere.. I had not

that first thing to wipe it up..which meant it went where it wanted.

I rolled into the kitchen, saying some not very nice things to this

cat, and got some napkins and a towel..

I got everything cleaned off, I have the cleanest desk than anyone

I bet..and the floor below? well it will have to be washed..I went

right away to the bathroom as soon as I made sure it was all

wiped up and surveyed the damage and saw the mouse was

dying, but the keyboard Is ok.. I hurried up and got out of my

totally drenched skirt and got on another one.. I put some of that

blue gel on my stump and that seemed to cool it off.. I washed

it first with a cold cloth..its red but that's all.. I was lucky.. I will

say, I will NEVER bring any liquid in here again in a open top.

My red lazer, cordless mouse is dying!!! I am going to send

Penny tomorrow to get a new keyboard and mouse.. My keyboard

needs replaced, the nubbies are gone.. I cant type with out them..

well I can but then I have to look too much at it and then that slows

my typing down which I hate to type slow ..so ANYWAYS!..

This is being posted NOW at 3 not the usual 5 or so..I have to make

hay while the sun shines..and that means get a post posted while I

still have a mouse...OHHHH ITS SNOWING!!!!.. yup! as I write this.

snow is falling outside.. Its really pretty .. Time to go.. Its early,

but this GORGEOUS WEEBLE had to make sure I got this posted,

I cant miss you know.. Im fine, the girls and boys are too.. :-)
