~Im Getting there~

I'm feeling a tad better today, "thank you Lord". I am

not nearly up to doing anything other than just minor things

like feed the boys.. Poor things they know mom is sick and

they are sticking to me like glue. When I head into bed they

follow me, wait till I get settled then one gets on each side

of me, usually Dutch on the right and LB on my left.. Oh and

of course LB's girlfriend is always up there as well.. When I

get up, they get up and follow me right into the bathroom

and will sit there, LB on the sink and Dutch sits on the back

of the potty, like guardians... Its really cute..

I notice doing all this extra transferring that from all this

dragging back and forth and turning around to transfer is

making the backs of my stumps sore.. I notice when I sit

that they feel raw, and ache.. I know its got to be from

so much movement that I'm going through that's doing

this, so Ive been watching close so that the skin doesn't

break down at all.. To lay in bed for 2 days and can only

lay on my back or sit up I keep steady pressure on my

bottom.. so if I did break down that would NOT be a

good thing.. That lump I found has gone, so the antibiotics

worked.. I am surprised that I got this flu being as I

was on the antibiotic KeFlex which is very strong.. This flu

they say is not the shot one, that the shot has no effect

on this strain ..

I woke this morning to a very nice surprise which has made

me feel much better, and that's a email from Mark. Hes

quite busy but everyone is fine, apparently the flu is even

over in the UK... Makes you wonder just how this flu got

started..

I have met my "Up" quota for today and need a rest.. I am

going to have some chicken soup, which I had some yesterday

and I do believe it helped.. I feel better today... So I will

have some more today.. I have No appetite at all.. which a little

weight loss is NOT a bad thing, but just NOT this way.... Time

to post, thanks for all the "get well's" This better a tad,

GORGEOUS WEEBLE says "G'Day, G'Day"... :-)
