~ They Cleaned My Yard!~

I mentioned yesterday that Carl was out doing his yard. By

himself.. He rode his lawn mower and raked.. I looked again

later after I posted and Carl was raking MY yard.. then I

looked again and his wife, I don't know her name, came over

and helped him.. My back yard looks really nice thanks to

them.. I thanked them before they left.. Even Penny noticed

this morning how much neater it looked out there without

all those stinkin pine cones... Trees are a good thing, but this

kind is just not good for a yard.. Well it is if you don't mind

constantly cleaning up the ground !...

Penny came today but we didn't go outside as I had planned.

Its been drizzly rainy and I know that ground is soggy. My

tires would get all icckky not counting my chair.. That's NOT

good... I did a stupid last nite which could have been a big

BADDIE.. I washed off my joystick and I didn't pay attention

that I had increased the speed.. Well, Ive turned this speed

up to 3 and I have to be super careful.. because this chair

MOVES now, let me tell ya.. I had put the speed all the way up,

which is 5.. Just as I hit the knobbie to move and the chair

started I saw the speed was all the way up...that's NOT good..

I bet this thing would go 60 miles an hour full speed.. so.....
Luckily I was in the middle of the kitchen when I wiped this

off so there was nothing around me to run into.. but when I

hit that knobbie this chair was off like a shot.. and I stopped

so fast that I almost fell out. I had to grab on to the arm

rest or I would have.. Cant you just hear me calling 911 to

come help me back into my chair that I had fallen out

cuz I was speeding? :-) Ya, I'm a SPEEDIN' GORGEOUS

WEEBLE :-) Like the road runner.. "BEEP BEEP!".. I do have

a horn but it sounds like a smoke detector and if I hit it

the boys just cringe.. They hate that sound.... Power chairs

are a good thing but you have to be careful... My poor door

ways are proof of that.. :-)

Penny made us manwich for our lunch today.. Its pretty

good and fast to make.. With no fast food places here

at all we fix our own lunch now.. Well McD's is 13 miles,

either way, to Centreville or to Coldwater, be nice if

they put one here. They do have a deli type snack

thing at the gas station just down the road, Ive tried

it but its nothing spectacular.. Ive been hungry for

some ribs and sauerkraut.. Just sounds so good, with

mashed potatoes, been ages.. Hard to make for just

one though, but I usually freeze what I don't eat.

Easier for lunch.. The photo of the Meals on Wheels

is of Chris.. Yesterdays lunch from there was the

best I have had in AGES!! They had a cucumber &

onion salad..with vinegar and oil.. Good? well I wish

they had sent MORE of it.. It was great..

Seems I always end these posts talking about food,

but since ive started to post earlier its around my

food time now.. :-) So, that's where this SPEEDIN
GORGEOUS WEEBLE is headed.. on SLOW speed,

to the kitchen to have a manwich.. Wanna join me?
