~Mixed UP Charter~ :-(

Talk about a mix up yesterday with Charter.. Some

times these companies deliberately don't tell you stuff

just to keep you on your toes.. The wireless guy was

sposta be here between 1 and 3.. well at 3:45 when Id

not seen OR heard from this installer, let alone Charter,

I called them.. The girl says, we can just re schedule the

wireless install for Monday so that you wont be over loaded

with installers since the phone guy is due between 3 and 5.

So I re scheduled the wireless for Monday.. SADLY.. but..

they neglected to tell me BEFORE I rescheduled that the

HBO was on the same work order with the wireless.. why I

don't know.. Who put it that way .. Charter did...

SO... about 4:45 the cable guy gets here.. He says "I came

to put in the phone AND the wireless".. I asked how long it

would take.. he said for the phone at least an hour half, the

wireless at least that.. so that would mean he would be here

till almost 8, or close to it. That wasn't acceptable.. so I told

him to just do the wireless Monday morning then.. and he

proceeded to install the phone.. WELL.. just as hes going out

the door I say.. "so.. I have HBO now?" he says "NO, that's

on the wireless work order and will have to wait till Monday".

NOW, what difference would that have made? He was doing

the installing and he couldn't do the HBO? 3 guesses what

I said.. rhymes with THIT... :-)

I was SO mad.. The installer said, call Charter and maybe

since you have a work order they may turn it on for you..

ya , right.. But like a big stupid I called.. I got the biggest

song and dance of crap I have ever heard for a list of

lame excuses as to why I had to wait till MONDAY when

they assured me I would have it yesterday.. And why didn't

they tell me that? They didn't... The less I have to deal

with these companies, I prefer. The same with the free showtime.

It wasn't free at all.. the guy added it to my bill for an

extra 22 dollars a month.. I don't get extras.. I just use

basic.. The HBO came with getting this bundle package.

Well when the guy comes back Monday I plan to ask him.

WHY did he not specify that the office would NOT turn

on the HBO.. that he needs to KNOW his facts before

he tells anyone anything... I was really looking forward

to watching movies this week end.. Blasted Charter.. I

get so upset with these companies.. They know they have

us by the padoobies because we want TV and Internet..

Charter I was hoping was better than Comcast but I

guess they are all alike.. They don't train their people

good enough.. I just don't like how they deliberately

neglect to tell you stuff..

I had a nice call from my sis yesterday.. Stanley is going

to Haiti next week to deliver some solar powered radios

to the people there.. Stanley is like a missionary.. Which

I don't discuss missionary stuff.. That's a very sore spot

for me.. I feel sorry for these people over seas.. yes.. but..

I think we should help our people HERE. Before sending

anything to other countries.. We have so many unemployed,

homeless, sick.. disabled.. and to send money that would

help US to others first.. NO .... I said more than I usually

do.. I just don't believe in it..sorry if it offends.. But I

believe in helping our own.. I would tell anyone from no

matter where they are,, take care of your own people..

THEN help the others.. I give Stanley credit though..hes

a good man.. and means well..

I have a great meat pie that is my dinner today. Its a

kinda cool but sunny nice day.. The boys love to lay in

the sun.. I'm ready for some lunch and then its sew

time.. I have a dress cut out for Trina.. I'm anxious to

get it done... It will be so cute.. I hope she likes it..
