~We Woke Up Crabby~

LB was in a bad mood and Dutch just says, "come on old man" :-)

We all woke up crabby today :-) The boys have been

fighting and I feel like I didn't sleep at all. I woke

up tired.. I HATE when I do that. I just have NO

energy today at all, I feel ok, but just no energy,

well maybe ambition would be the better word. I

have lots I could do, but I look at it and think ,

"Hmmmm, how badly do I wanna do that, if I do,

it means cleaning up afterwards". Like my sewing,

I'm not the neatest, working for sewing companys

you get used to just throwing your threads or

what ever onto the floor and the maintence cleans.

You are not to take the time to have to clean your

area, so we used the floors, we didn't even have

to clip threads, we all worked at a long table and

there was a woman that walked up and down across

from the sewers and as we finished whatever it

was, we would push it to the other side of our

work area and she would trim, fold or turn it what

ever needed to be finished on it. All we did was

sew..

When I worked at Needlecraft, we made curtains

and bedspreads, pillow covers, easy stuff.. Well some

wasn't that easy but if you knew the tricks it wasn't

hard. I was one for finding the fastest, easiest and

best way to put something together. I could put the

welt, which is that thick ribbing sort of thing that

goes around the edge of a bedspread or pillow. If

you knew HOW you could sew all 3 at one time. Most

of the ladies there put them together one at a time,

that takes longer.


I informed the other ladies that they could do it

faster and to tell some 60 year old women that

still worked there they were doing something wrong,

well that got on their wrong side. So I just went ahead

and did it my way. I looked up one day and here all the

other women were standing around my machine watching

as I put the 3 pieces together, the supervisor as well..

When she saw it was possible, she made all the others do

it the same way. It increased production! I still do that,

but now I call it my plan of attack. Doesn't matter what

it pertains to. I like finding the easiest, fastest and

NOW- SAFEST way to do things. :-)

Penny came today, which is her usual day, she came

yesterday cuz she didn't come Monday. She and I may

take a trip to GoodWill.. I love that store. I really don't

need anything but I think I would enjoy the ride more

than shopping :-) The COA will come and get us.. I cant

go till after the 1st which is payday, and I cant really

afford to buy anything, but I think the "out" would be

good for me. Its been a long time since Ive been any

where besides just outside. In fact Ive not been any

where other than outside since I moved in here back

in October, so I guess it is time to GO OUT ! :-)

Penny has made a meatloaf today, which is one of my

very best favs... I LOVE that stuff.. specially the next

day in a sandwich :-) AND she made a white cake with

chocolate frosting. :-) which is another of my very best

favs :-) Ive not had cake.. hmmm cant tell you the last

time its been that long.. :-)

Time to eat, so this HUNGRY GORGEOUS WEEBLE
